Game of Thrones: Dawn of Justice

Chapter 49: Dothraki Khao, seeking death!

Chapter 49: Dothraki Khao, seeking death!

"Master, is this Pentos? It's so prosperous!"

The Evening Star was currently docked in an extremely prosperous port, surrounded by all kinds of ships: there were purple-sailed clippers from Braavos, with slender hulls and tall masts; there were merchant ships from Lys, which were richly decorated and carved with exotic patterns; and there were bulky cargo ships from Westeros across the Narrow Sea, with wide hulls and full of cargo.

There are also some peculiarly shaped ocean-going ships with patterns of strange fish or sirens carved on their bows, exuding the unique exotic style of the free trade city-state.

In the port, sailors shouted in more than a dozen languages, carrying silk, spices and barrels of wine, and the air was filled with the mixed smell of sea salt and exotic spices.

Carina stood beside Garlon, her eyes full of amazement.

On the deck of the Evening Star, Stoin and Salio followed behind Garlon.

This time, Garlon brought Carina, Stoin and Salio with him.

As the chief archery coach, Barius was left on the island of Tas to train archers.

Garen looked up and saw a huge city in the distance.

The city of Pentos, built on a hillside, is a staggered landscape. Its walls, constructed of crimson sandstone, gleam warmly in the sun, and adorned with bronze watchtowers. Within, towering domes and spires stand in a crisscross pattern. Some roofs are tiled with emerald green tiles, others inlaid with stained glass, reflecting a dazzling array of light. The Governor's Palace stands out in the distance, its white marble gleaming in the sun like a pearl set within the city. Outside, a broad stone avenue leads from the harbor to the city gates, lined with palm trees, their shadows swaying in the breeze, bringing a touch of coolness.

This was also Stoin's first time in the Free Trade City, so he was particularly curious.

Salio was very calm because he was from Braavos and had been to Pentos many times.

Soon, Garlon and his three companions boarded the dock and entered the city of Pentos through the wide city gate.

When Garlon entered the city, he saw huge crossbows placed every five meters on the tall city walls.

He looked a little envious.

These crossbows should be the same ones that Crow's Eye Euron and others installed on the ship in the original book to shoot dragons.

It has a very long range and great power.

In close-range naval battles, the "arrows" shot from this crossbow can even penetrate enemy warships.

Garlon planned to purchase a large number of these crossbows after the War of the Usurper was over and he had enough funds.

Entering the city of Pentos, the atmosphere of free trade is everywhere, and there are small vendors everywhere. It is indeed very prosperous.

Garlon took Carina and a few others and first found a specialty store to taste the delicacies of Pentos, and then slowly headed to the Governor's Palace in Illyrio.

"Get out of the way, get out of the way!" (Dothraki)

"Da da da!"

Just as Garlon and his three companions were crossing a wide graystone road, suddenly, a burst of hurried horse hooves sounded.

Soon, about a dozen cavalrymen with bare upper bodies, long shiny braids, and scimitars hanging from their waists, caused a commotion and galloped towards the direction where Garlon and his companions were.

Seeing this scene, Garlon immediately frowned.

"Dothraki?"

Seeing the attire of these people, the classic braids and the arakh scimitars, Garlon recognized their identities.

Considering that this was Pentos and these Dothraki were on horseback and outnumbered, Garen didn't want to cause trouble and took Carina and the others to hide by the roadside.

"Boom!"

Soon, more than a dozen Dothraki came galloping. The Dothraki in the lead was tall, with long braids, but there were some white hairs in his hair and beard. He seemed to be old, probably in his forties.

Behind him were many middle-aged Dothraki elites, as well as a young boy who was equally tall but had a slightly childish face.

The Dothraki who was in the lead rode past Garon and his men and happened to turn his head to look at them.

Garlon looked at the other person calmly.

Garen could feel the arrogance and confidence in the other's eyes, as well as his indifference to life.

Garen originally didn't want to pay any attention to these Dothraki.

But just as Garlon waved his hand to disperse the dust in front of him.

"Xilulu!"

The dozen or so Dothraki who had just passed by, led by the strong man in his forties, reined in their horses and stood still.

They frightened the surrounding Pentos residents and caused them to flee in all directions.

What made Garen frown was that the leading Dothraki actually rode up to them.

This Dothraki, who was in his forties, brandished his scimitar and pointed it at Garendao.

They spoke in Dothraki, which Garen could not understand at all, but with the other party riding on a horse and pointing a scimitar at him, Garen's temper was almost uncontrollable.

"How much is your female slave? Our khal likes her and wants to buy her!"

At this moment, a knight with disheveled hair and no braids from among the Dothraki men rode forward and spoke to Garen in Valyrian.

Hearing the other party's translation, Garlon frowned.

He couldn't help but look at Carina beside him.

Are these Dothraki people interested in Carina?

Garen's anger rose in his heart.

"roll!"

Garen spoke directly.

Even though he had already learned from the translator that this Dothraki man in his forties was a khal.

Khaaru is the title of the Dothraki tribal leader. Generally, a Khaaru has several thousand to tens of thousands of Dothraki cavalry under his command.

Hearing Garlon's words, the translator was suddenly choked and somewhat incredulous. He showed surprise and doubt on his face, and finally translated a sentence in a low voice to the older Kao.

Sure enough, after he translated it, the khal became furious.

The Dothraki cavalry behind him also drew their scimitars in an instant and spread out in a fan shape, semi-surrounding Garen and the other three.

"Master, what should we do?"

Stoin asked with a frown, his hand already on his sword.

"Master, these Dothraki are probably guests of the Governor of Pentos. It would be best if we do not conflict with them."

Salio said with a serious expression.

Garen thought about it and felt that it was indeed the case.

After all, they are outsiders.

So Garlon took Carina and turned away.

Stoin and Salio stood guard with swords.

Seeing that Garlon was about to leave after scolding them, the khal immediately became furious.

Before he could speak or take action, a blood guard beside him drew his scimitar, rode forward, and slashed at Stoin!
Stoin's eyes narrowed and he immediately drew his sword to block!

"clang!"

In an instant, the crisp sound of metal clashing rang out on the streets of Pentos.

Garlon paused and looked back with murderous eyes.

Two more Blood Guards drew their scimitars and attacked.

Stoin and Salio tensed up and tried their best to cope.

Seeing this scene, Garen knew that he only had two choices now, either to escape at full speed immediately, or...

Garlon didn't hesitate and pulled out the "Maid of Justice" from his waist with a "click".

In an instant, a sword emitting a faint green light and flowing like water appeared in everyone's sight.

When the Dothraki who had not yet taken action saw this sword, a hint of surprise and amazement flashed in their eyes!

However, before they could react, Garlon had already bent his knees and jumped up like a cheetah!

"brush!"

Swing a sword!
The tip of the sword passed horizontally, and blood gushed out like a fountain!
The huge horse's head, along with its neck, belly and ribs of the Dothraki on the horse's back, were directly cut off by Garen's sword!
A flesh and blood body without armor protection is like tofu under the sword of the "Maid of Justice"!
