Daily Intelligence: From Water Snake to Jinghe Dragon King

Amitabha Buddha, Teacher, you were right back then. Our West is too barren and has few spiritual treasures. I thought that with four spiritual treasures, I had caught up with the wealth of Eastern cultivators, but now it seems that I was too optimistic.

Faced with nearly ten magical treasures bestowed upon him, the Buddha of Precious Light tragically accepted reality, closed his eyes in despair, and could no longer even self-destruct.

This old monk has cultivated Buddhism for ten thousand years, becoming a Buddha in one region of Buddhism. Now that Buddhism is in trouble, I cannot help it. Instead, I am trapped and captured. Amitabha, teacher, Tathagata, your disciple is ashamed.

Seeing that Buddha Baoguang looked resigned to his fate, Liu Qing secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

Oh dear, that was too dangerous! That old monk almost self-destructed.

Western Buddhism is so good at bewitching people. When Buddha and Bodhisattvas are in adversity, they don't think about begging for mercy, but about self-destruction. They're just like terrorists.

Fortunately, he managed to subdue him without serious injury; otherwise, things would have been much more complicated. Liu Qing didn't believe that he could withstand the self-destruction of a mid-stage Great Luo Realm expert with his current strength, nor did he believe that his sixth-stage Nine Revolutions Profound Technique could ignore the power of a mid-stage Great Luo Realm expert's self-destruction.

Currently, within the Lesser Thousand Worlds Underworld, thanks to the self-sacrifice of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, a third layer of Underworld has evolved, and it is evolving towards a fourth layer.

When the nine layers of the underworld are evolved, the lesser world will evolve into the middle world. The original power of the earlier Vairocana Buddha, Bhaisajyaguru Buddha, and the current Precious Light Buddha will become the most urgently needed resources when the lesser world evolves into the middle world, enough to make the spatial range of the middle world far exceed that of other middle worlds countless times at the beginning of the evolution.

I saw the sect leader suppress the Medicine Buddha and the Vairocana Buddha some time ago. Now, the Medicine Buddha and the Vairocana Buddha's consciousness, memories, and original imprints have been crushed. The remaining purest power is buried underground, constantly nourishing the growth and evolution of the small world.

Looking up now, the sect leader has sent out the Buddha of Precious Light, one of the top ten Buddhist deities, to suppress him.

The Golden Light Holy Mother, Hanzhi Fairy, Caiyun Fairy, and other Heavenly Lords of the Jie Sect stared wide-eyed, their hearts clenching once again.

Hearing the words of admiration from the Golden Light Mother and others in the Lesser Thousand Worlds, Liu Qing almost had to suppress the corners of her mouth that she was trying to force up.

After the Buddha Baoguang was suppressed, he left behind four spiritual treasures: the mid-grade acquired spiritual treasure, the cotton kasaya; the mid-grade innate spiritual treasure, the sixth-grade lotus platform; the purple-gold alms bowl; and the Baoguang staff. All of these were collected by Liu Qing. Just as he was about to continue his journey, he suddenly remembered that when the Buddha Baoguang appeared, he called himself Fahai. He understood that the Buddha had disguised himself as a mortal and stayed at Jinshan Temple while waiting for him to undergo his tribulation, to prevent later novelists from fabricating stories about Fahai suppressing the Green and White Snakes. A playful glint flashed in Liu Qing's eyes.

He soared into the clouds and saw Jinshan Temple hundreds of miles away. He immediately used his water-controlling magic to transform into a water chain, sweeping up all the monks in Jinshan Temple and throwing them outside the temple.

As a deity, Liu Qing could not act arbitrarily against mortals, especially since he was currently traversing the dragon realm, lest he be entangled by karmic forces. Therefore, he spared these monks, both young and old.

Then the water chain loosened, and with a loud bang, it exploded into a raging flood that submerged the entire Jinshan Temple, especially the Leifeng Pagoda, which was destroyed by the flood controlled by Liu Qing.

Having casually destroyed Jinshan Temple to prevent future generations from vilifying him and the White Snake, Liu Qing was in high spirits and plunged back into the canal, preparing to continue his dragon-walking journey.

By this time, the dragon-walking journey was almost complete, and Liu Qing had also overcome all the tribulations associated with the Buddhist concept of the dragon-walking journey.

Correspondingly, Liu Qing underwent a near-complete transformation, evolving from a dragon into a dragon.

Within the body of the Azure Dragon, the dragon blood has completely evolved into dragon blood, and the dragon bones have also completely evolved into dragon bones. Only the dragon tendons remain, which are not yet fully evolved, but they are not far off, having completed most of the transformation.

The entire Grand Canal journey of the dragon has now passed the Qiantang River, and it is only a few hundred miles away from the destination, Jiangdu. Once the last few hundred miles of the dragon journey are completed, the few remaining unevolved dragon tendons will be able to fully evolve.

At that time, Liu Qing will be able to transform into a dragon.

At the same time, the Azure Dragon's body continued to transform, evolving into a true dragon, and its size also increased from five thousand feet to six thousand feet.

Having thoroughly examined the changes within himself, Liu Qing happily continued his journey across the dragon. He had already completed ninety percent of the journey, covering thousands of miles, with only the final step remaining. He continued to diligently navigate the canal, widening and deepening it as he went, thus bringing himself greater blessings.

The several water golems at the front, still acting as the vanguard, walked ahead of the main body, clearing the silt from the river channel, removing broken trees, washed-in boulders, and the corpses of drowned creatures one by one.

Following closely behind, Liu Qing used his enormous dragon body to meander through the water, swimming and ramming the riverbed with his body to widen it, while also clearing away the silt from the riverbed and deepening the river.

As the river channel was widened and deepened, the floodwaters on both banks gradually subsided, and the lives of the people were saved. In gratitude for the Dragon King's miraculous intervention, people offered sacrifices from afar, and the incense offerings flourished, bringing abundant merit.

It seemed that the closer it got to the final moment of the dragon's departure, the more torrential the rain fell from the sky, and the more severe the flooding became on both banks.

Heaven and earth must unleash their power at the last moment to prevent Liu Qing from smoothly completing his transformation into a dragon and evolving into a true dragon.

However, walking the dragon is going against the will of Heaven. Heaven and Earth do not allow it, so how can they stop Liu Qing's heart from attaining the Dao?

Liu Qing emerged from the water, looked up at Jiangdu City in front of her, and her eyes shone with excitement.

Finally, after traveling thousands of miles, we are about to complete our journey across the dragon!

Now, the few remaining dragon tendons in his body have all evolved into dragon tendons, the dragon horns on his head are even more imposing, he has eagle eyes, protruding lips, carp whiskers, deer antlers, fish scales, and a snake-like body, with a lion mane running across his entire back. He is truly majestic and awe-inspiring, a true dragon reborn.

Besides the three dragon claws under its belly, there is another bulge. With the final leap, it can grow a fourth claw and completely evolve from a dragon into a true dragon.

With a mighty leap, Liu Qing's enormous dragon-like body widened and deepened the last few miles of the canal, completely quelling the floodwaters on both banks.

The floodwaters receded, the heavy rains ceased, and soon the sun pierced through the dark clouds, casting its divine light upon the earth. Just as Liu Qing completed his dragon-walking feat, the rain stopped and the sky cleared.

On the walls of Jiangdu, a valiant soldier had already reported that a blue dragon was winding its way south from the northern end of the Grand Canal.

Upon hearing this, Emperor Yang Guang of the Sui Dynasty was astonished. He then ended his banquet, dismissed the beauties, and, together with his officials, went to the top of Jiangdu City to witness the miraculous sight of the dragon walking away.

When he saw a dragon, seemingly thousands of feet long, leaping from the Grand Canal and flying over Jiangdu City, he felt a great threat and a deep sense of fear for some reason.

Emperor Yang Guang of Sui was terrified by the dragon's ferocious appearance. Recalling his earlier fear, he became enraged and shouted, "Men, bring the siege crossbows and shoot this wicked dragon dead!"

Yuwen Huaji, who was accompanying the emperor, had a look of contempt in his eyes. Seeing Emperor Yang Guang's feigned love of dragons, he secretly cursed that his fate was sealed.

All the officials tried to dissuade him, but Emperor Yang Guang of Sui, for reasons unknown, remained obstinate. Using his imperial authority, he forcefully ordered his elite guards to bring hundreds of siege crossbows, nock arrows, aim at Liu Qing's enormous dragon body, and fire with a whooshing sound.
