The Terror of the Heavens Begins with Gu

Chapter 121 Obtaining the Tantric Visualization Method

Chapter 121 Obtaining the Tantric Visualization Method

More and more scarlet liquid flowed from the weasel's fur in his hand, and the fur struggled more and more fiercely.

Dorje Rinpoche's expression became even more serious.

“Om... Hum... Pa... De…”

For each word he uttered, his left hand would make a corresponding hand gesture.

After completing several hand seals, his body became hazy, as if emanating a mysterious light.

The weasel skin he was holding emitted a strange cry from its skull, and struggled more and more frantically.

Dorje Rinpoche's hands trembled even more violently.

In Li Zhen's hands, the black mud began to writhe wildly.

No matter how tightly he gripped it, he couldn't stop the clod of earth from exploding.

After several consecutive "plop" sounds, blood flowed from Li Zhen's palm.

A thicker layer of "dried mud" slowly spread across his arm, enveloping his entire arm and making it look terrifying.

The opposing master, Dorje, could no longer catch the weasel skin.

After the weasel skin pried open his palm, he suddenly spat out a mouthful of blood, staggered back a few steps, and almost fell to the ground.

He lowered his right hand, which was covered in corrosive wounds.

Large drops of blood kept dripping from his hands.

The weasel's fur twitched for a moment, then it suddenly pounced on Dorje Guru.

"Be bold!"

Dorje Rinpoche's expression changed, he glared angrily, and his aura suddenly became intimidating.

It seemed as if raging flames were erupting behind him.

An indescribable sense of oppression spread rapidly from his body outwards.

The weasel's fur, which had been pouncing on, was frozen in mid-air, twisted for a moment, and then fell limply to the ground.

At the same time, Li Zhen spread his hands.

The black mud he held in his hand turned into a wisp of black smoke and disappeared.

A strange palpitation arose in his heart, which he forcefully suppressed with his ever-growing primordial spirit power.

The panting Master Dorje looked at Li Zhen with a solemn expression.

Undoubtedly, his magical power was inferior to his opponent's.

He came full of confidence, but after using his heart-protecting mantra, which he had cultivated for many years, he couldn't even break free from someone else's evil spell. How could he possibly subdue demons?
The gloom in Dorje Rinpoche's heart grew ever larger.

Looking at his palm, Li Zhen said, "After sending out the ghost you subdued, if you couldn't figure out my background, you should leave."

"It's not too late to escape when you realize that the weasel has been bewitched and you can't control it."

The red-eyed bat on his shoulder stared intently at Master Dorje, letting out a few strange cries of restlessness.

The aura emanating from Master Dorje made even the red-eyed bats wary.

The faint flames behind him gradually dissipated, and Dorje Guru raised his right arm, coldly saying, "Demons and heretics."

He tore a piece from his coat and wrapped it around his battered right hand.

He clasped his hands together in front of his body, making a strange hand gesture.

“When I first entered the practice, I initiated the Dharma with Bodhicitta, praying to protect the Dharma and bless all sentient beings.”

“I have been visualizing the Dharma protector Mahakala for over twenty years, feeling his thoughts every day, and praying to him to help me drive away evil spirits and demonic obstacles. I have never stopped doing this for a single day.”

"Now that evil spirits are at hand, this is the time to establish merit and subdue them. Why would you flee?"

As soon as he finished speaking, he quickly recited some scriptures, and the mudras in his hands changed several times.

A hazy halo emanated from it, making it appear mysterious.

The flames reignited behind him.

Within those flames, it seemed as if gods were dancing.

After receiving the blessing, the gloom in Dorje Rinpoche's heart was greatly reduced.

Although his visualization practice differs somewhat from most other Tantric visualization practices, it still involves the same few stages.

The initial stage is the external practice stage. Beginners need to make offerings and visualize the image of the Dharma protectors through rituals, and recite the Dharma protector mantras to establish an initial connection with the Dharma protectors.

After the initial stage, the next stage is introspection and sensory perception.

During this stage, practitioners need to continuously practice to gradually purify their minds in order to deepen their connection with the Dharma protectors.

Through these processes, the image of the Dharma protector will gradually become clearer, allowing the visualizer to feel the power or blessing of the Dharma protector.

The highest stage is when the practitioner's mind is highly purified, reaching a state of complete unity with the Dharma protectors.

At this time, the Dharma protector practice becomes a tool for realizing emptiness and great compassion. Visualize the Dharma protector as inseparable from your own deity. The Dharma protector appears as a manifestation of wisdom, rather than an external entity.

Dorje Rinpoche's visualization practice has clearly entered the second stage, enabling him to receive the blessings of the Dharma protectors.

In fact, he had already reached the peak in the second stage. Although he had glimpsed the path to the third stage, he was unable to enter it.

What he sought when he descended the mountain was to enter the highest stage of visualization.

Therefore, he has been subduing all kinds of demons and monsters to increase his own merit.

What if there aren't any powerful enough demons?
Dorjee's idea was to follow fate and act accordingly, creating a sufficiently powerful demon so that he could achieve great feats.

That's how the spirit-devouring demon king was born.

The matter was proceeding quite smoothly until suddenly a malevolent figure appeared, ruining both his plans and the arrangements of fate.

How could Master Dorje not have any objections to Li Zhen?
In his mind, Li Zhen was covered in blood and had disrupted destiny, so he was naturally a demon.

So he targeted Li Zhen for subjugation.

This is not his delusion.

When he made this decision, he had a feeling that if he could subdue Li Zhen and the many evil spirits around him, he would surely gain enough merit to allow his visualization method to break through again.

That's why he came to find Li Zhen so quickly.

The flames behind Dorje Rinpoche burned even brighter.

Even Li Zhen, who was standing opposite, and Yu Changzheng, who was further away, could feel the anger emanating from the flames.

The three evil spirits within the body were stimulated and simultaneously opened their eyes.

Li Zhen's body and figure began to writhe.

The restless red-eyed bats never let Dorje Lama out of their sight.

Dorje Rinpoche on the other side remained unmoved.

Detective Li was a little surprised.

This is the first time that the red-eyed bat's ability to confuse has completely failed.

Before the Red-Eyed Bat underwent its second metamorphosis, even sorcerers like Naimi could not completely resist its allure.
This Tantric master has now accomplished it, demonstrating the strength of his spiritual cultivation.

Sorcerers rarely focus on cultivating their own spiritual consciousness, and they cannot compare with these highly accomplished individuals who have practiced asceticism for many years in terms of spiritual will.

Unfortunately, this guru encountered Li Zhen.

The so-called protection of Dharma protectors cannot possibly be the Dharma protectors themselves coming to protect them.

Just like the demon that Li Zhen visualized, it was impossible to directly invite the demon itself over.

If the opponent is inferior to him, then defeat and destruction are the only options.

Accompanied by the writhing shadows, Li Zhen walked forward.

Dorje's eyes flashed with an unusual light, and various scenes appeared within them.

When he looked into Li Zhen's eyes, those images completely disappeared, leaving only Li Zhen alone.

The other person's eyes grew larger and larger, until only Dorje Lama's eyes remained in Li Zhen's pupils.

The strange feeling, as if his secret had been spied on, made Li Zhen instinctively feel disgusted.

His primordial spirit was extremely powerful; the moment he uttered a thought, the feeling of being spied on vanished without a trace.

But the strange connection between him and the guru opposite him persisted.

Unsure of what kind of magic this was, Li Zhen was a little wary, but he continued to walk forward.

……

As cultivators with magical powers, Yu Changzheng and Cang Weihua could clearly see the process of the two fighting.

Earlier on the road, when he saw the commotion caused by Li Zhen's evil magic, Cang Weihua told Yu Changzheng that the evil power of Li Zhen was the most he had ever seen in his life, and that he had underestimated Li Zhen.

After realizing what had happened, he remembered that Li Zhenneng's terrifying abilities must be related to the ritual that had been performed earlier.

So if the evil forces rise and the righteous forces fall today, then it will be somewhat related to him and Yu Changzheng.

Although Yu Changzheng and the other man knew this when Li Zhen was casting the spell, they did not know the outcome of the struggle between Li Zhen and this master.

Only after arriving here did they see clearly the process and outcome of the battle between Li Zhen and the other person.

From both perspectives, that master was at a significant disadvantage. Cang Weihua whispered, "It seems today truly is a case of the demons rising and the Buddhas falling."

"Sigh, where did this person come from? How could he be so terrifying? Logically speaking, Hong Kong Island is such a small place, how could we not know about such a powerful person?"

“He said he came back from overseas,” Yu Changzheng said. “His spellcasting methods do indeed have a bit of a Southeast Asian feel to them, both being so bloody and cruel.”

Cang Weihua nodded and said, "It does resemble some kind of Southeast Asian sorcery."

Seeing the extraordinary phenomena displayed around Dorje Rinpoche's divine body, he exclaimed in surprise, "This Rinpoche is indeed a remarkable person. No wonder he can raise the Spirit-Eating Demon King like a fish."

"His visualization skills are truly remarkable. In all my years, I have never seen anyone with such profound visualization skills. I'm afraid he'll reach the highest level with just one more step."

"Unfortunately, he's outmatched and will still lose. Sigh, I think we've really helped a truly formidable evil spirit."

Yu Changzheng shook his head and said, "If he doesn't indiscriminately kill innocent people, what kind of evil spirit is he? I think this master is the one with impure intentions; he's probably gone mad from his cultivation."

Cang Weihua said speechlessly, "Look at the way others look at us, their eyes are even clearer than ours. How could they be possessed by demonic possession? The battle is about to be decided..."

……

Li Zhen walked a few steps away from Master Dorje.

The red-eyed bat on his shoulder spread its wings and protected Li Zhen's shoulder.

A faint gray aura emanated from its body, absorbing some of the intense heat emanating from Master Dorje for Li Zhen.

That aura was very harmful to Li Zhen, like a needle that could penetrate anywhere, piercing every part of his body and making him feel extremely uncomfortable.

Even though he didn't feel much pain, he couldn't get rid of the pricking sensation.

Seeing that Li Zhen had walked this distance, the master opposite him still showed no emotional reaction, which made Li Zhen a little wary.

He took another step, and suddenly felt a tightness in his chest.

Li Zhen knew that the opponent was finally about to use the trick they had been preparing for so long.

Without any warning, he suddenly felt that the connection between himself and the guru in front of him had transformed into a substantial, long thread, pulling away from his consciousness.

The other end of that thread was nowhere to be found, but the end of this thread connected to many of his memories.

Every memory is related to murder.

The flames behind the master converged into a line, which burned irresistibly into Li Zhen's consciousness.

Li Zhen, who was originally going to resist, did not sense any danger, so he did not move.

The flames flickered only briefly before returning to Dorje Rinpoche's body along the "line".

An unnatural crimson flushed his face, and Dorje Rinpoche's imposing aura vanished completely.

He stared blankly at Li Zhen: "Why...why are you innocent?"

Having roughly understood what kind of magic the other party had used, Li Zhen breathed a sigh of relief.

He confidently stated, "Because I only killed those who deserved to die."

Dorje Rinpoche slowly shook his head: "Impossible...impossible..."

Before he could finish speaking, he fell heavily backward.

died?

Li Zhen was greatly surprised when he examined Dorje Lama's body and found that he was indeed dead.

The fight ended abruptly in such an unexpected way, leaving Li Zhen feeling quite abrupt.

After realizing that there was nothing they could do to him, the other party seemed to have used some kind of forbidden technique.

This magical ability must be the source of the master's confidence in coming to him.

Unfortunately, the spell had no effect on him and instead backfired, killing the master himself.

Li Zhen sighed inwardly, thankful that he hadn't killed anyone indiscriminately, otherwise he didn't know how many sins he would have been burdened with.

The other party probably thought he was a man who would kill innocent people indiscriminately because he looked sinister.

It is said that Tantric Buddhism has a deep understanding of spiritual consciousness and focuses on this aspect during practice. How come this master didn't see that he was essentially a good person?
Furthermore, what did he mean by "impossible" at the end?
Does killing those who deserve to die also create sin?
Or perhaps the other party simply doesn't believe they can control their murderous intent and refrain from indiscriminately killing innocent people?

A thought struck Li Zhen, and he looked at his right arm.

Sure enough, after the master died, the rune urged him to return.

wrong.

It's not a return, but a new mission.

Detective Li was a little surprised.

Previously, he would be sent back to the main world to rest for a few days before a new mission would be created.

This time, a new task came as soon as the task was completed.

We can't afford to waste time...

Li Zhen was very interested in everything about this master.

After instructing the little devils to find offerings and some necessary tools, Li Zhen dragged the master's corpse into the grove.

……

Yu Changzheng and Cang Weihua were both shocked to see the master die suddenly.

Before they could react, they saw Li Zhen drag the body into the woods.

They exchanged a glance, and Cang Weihua said, "He's interested in that corpse?"

“Probably,” Yu Changzheng guessed. “That hairy zombie might have been made from the corpse of a powerful figure.”

"Killing someone and refining their corpse, that's truly...evil." Cang Weihua shuddered and turned to run back the way he came. "It's over, we should go too, don't disturb their cleanup."

Yu Changzheng followed behind Cang Weihua.

Looking back, he said, "The trouble may not be over yet. There might be even more powerful figures behind such a powerful Tantric master."

"Don't worry about so much," Cang Weihua said. "You want to manage everything? Can you handle it? Some things that seem troublesome to you may not seem troublesome to others."

……

More than an hour later, Li Zhen walked out of the grove with a frown.

No ghosts were induced from the master's corpse.

Furthermore, Li Zhen couldn't sense the presence of the remnant soul within the corpse at all, which made him feel a bit strange.

Was his soul burned to ashes, or did his long-term practice make the master's soul somewhat special?
Li Zhen leans more towards the former.

Li Zhen was very disappointed that he did not see the master's memories.

His gaze shifted to the weasel pelt on the ground.

As a tool in the battle between the two, this weasel now only has some remnants of its soul attached to its fur, and it will probably dissipate soon. Its condition is far worse than before.

It's good to make some contributions before you die...

Li Zhen shook the palm leaf whip in his hand.

In less than an hour, Li Zhen returned to Yu Changzheng's house with the blood-soaked red-blooded bats.

The remnant soul of that weasel contained few fragments of memory, which did not put much pressure on Li Zhen's primordial spirit. It would be easy for him to fully digest them in a short time.

From the weasel's memories, Li Zhen saw many interesting things.

For example, the master Dorje once personally taught the weasel visualization method.

The differences between Taoist visualization methods and Tantric visualization methods are significant.

Li Zhen plans to organize and study the Tantric visualization methods when he has time.

The death of that master Dorje had a fatal impact on the demons he controlled.

Before Dorje Rinpoche died, the old ghost and the last man covered in corpse energy had already lost.

His death had the greatest impact on the evil spirit that was fighting with the fetus.

Having failed to uncover the other party's ulterior motives, they seized that opportunity to capture the other party and devour them.

Before Li Zhen returned to Yu Changzheng's house, the three ghosts that had devoured other strange beings and had not yet calmed their malevolent aura had already returned to Yu Changzheng's house, scaring Yu Changzheng and Cang Weihua half to death.

They breathed a sigh of relief when they saw Li Zhen return.

With everything resolved, and facing the runes' urging, Li Zhen didn't want to stay in this world any longer.

That night, he asked Yu Changzheng for some money and had the little devil deliver it to the families of the people he had just taken things from, thus settling the matter of him directly taking other people's things.

This time they were going to another mission world, and there were many things they couldn't bring with them, so Li Zhen didn't ask Yu Changzheng to make talismans for him.

Although the backlash from the witchcraft that Li Zhen suffered did not affect his mobility, it still seemed to be quite serious.

However, with only one corpse, he couldn't restore the body's vitality using evil magic, so he had to go to the next mission world to find an opportunity.

When the time came, Li Zhen, who had prepared everything, disappeared from the room with the vampire and other ghosts.

When Yu Changzheng returned with lunch, he knocked on the door only to find that Li Zhen had already left.

"They left so decisively..."
