Hogwarts: Don't call me Wandmaker

Chapter 442 Something to Celebrate

Chapter 442 Something to Celebrate

It's clear that Percy was truly innocent this time, and even Fred and George couldn't stand it anymore and started speaking up for him.

But that's just Fudge's style—burying his head in the sand, acting like an ostrich; he'll drag things out as long as he can without ever trying to find a solution.

Siren felt that when Voldemort really returned, the best thing Dumbledore should do was to cast an Imperius Curse on Fudge, rather than letting him endlessly torment the Order of the Phoenix.

Unfortunately, if Dumbledore had done that, he wouldn't be Dumbledore...

A few minutes later, Celen, Fred, and George left the wand shop together.

They actually came to buy new books and also to check if there were any suitable shops they could rent.

The 1,300 Galleons that Sirion provided were enough for them to rent a fairly large shop in Diagon Alley.

Fred and George were more concerned about this than ever before. They had been to Diagon Alley several times before and had looked at many vacant shop locations.

But they were still having a great time. According to Fred, they would decide after graduation anyway, so they had plenty of time to choose.

Xilun didn't want to be with them, but with only a few days left before the start of the semester, he needed to finish those orders as soon as possible.

But while Fred and George were saying that work should be balanced with rest, they each grabbed Celen's arm and then, with a snap, arrived outside the wand shop.

Incidentally, Fred and George have passed the Apparition test, and since they are now adults, they can use magic without any qualms.

“I must remind you…” Siren rubbed his dizzy head, “It’s best not to Apparate in Diagon Alley. The magic here is so abundant and chaotic that it’s easy to split into two parts… I don’t want my head to end up on a street a mile away.”

Although the split caused by Apparition can be reconnected with White Dew Essence, the experience is still somewhat unpleasant.

“Sorry…” George said, “we felt it too.”

"We actually wanted to take you to the entrance of Gringotts earlier."

"But the resistance to this spell suddenly increased."

"I can only take you out of the wand shop."

"Then I really have to thank you," Xilun said helplessly.

But since he was already out, he figured he might as well buy the things. He went back to the shop to get the letter that had been sent from Hogwarts, and then followed Fred George to the main street outside.

Just like last year, Hogwarts wrote to remind him to go to King's Cross Station on September 1st to take the Hogwarts Express back to school.

Also attached is a list of things I need to buy for the new school year; there are quite a few, enough to fill about two parchments.

Because starting from fifth grade, almost all subjects enter a new stage, requiring the purchase of many new books.

The first stop, needless to say, is Flourish and Blotts.

Starting a week ago, Hogwarts textbooks had already appeared on the most conspicuous bookshelves near the entrance.

Intermediate Runes Explained

Symbol Combinations and Arrangements

Standard Spells: Level 5

Theoretical Guide to Magic

The Complete Guide to Carnivorous Trees

Prophecy of the Unforeseen

……

Following the book list on the parchment, Xilun finally bought all the books.

After asking the bookstore staff to deliver them to the wand shop, Celen left Flourish and Blotts.

While they were outside, they happened to run into Sirius Black coming out of Madam Malkin's Robes Shop. However, Sirius seemed a little nervous, and his first reaction upon seeing them was to try to avoid them.

He only walked over quickly after confirming that there were only the three of them in the bookstore.

“Hello, Sirius,” Fred and George said at the same time.

“Oh, hello, Mr. Weasleys,” Sirius said. “I’m sorry, I still can’t tell which of you is Fred and which of you is George.”

“Many people can’t tell the difference,” Fred said with a smile, as if he had heard a great compliment.

"How is Professor Moody?" Siren asked.

"Let's talk over here..." Sirius didn't answer immediately, but led them to a deserted alley before letting out a soft sigh.

"The good news is that he survived, but he needs to rest and recuperate for a while."

"So what exactly happened in Little Hangleton?" Siron asked curiously.

“I don’t know.” Sirius shook his head. “His memories have been altered. He’s forgotten everything from when he entered the Ministry of Magic to when he was rescued by Dumbledore.”

"The Oblivion Spell..."

“That’s right, and it was a very crude forgetting spell that forcibly erased the memory, causing great damage to his mind. St. Mungo’s healers said it would take him at least six months to recover.”

"Does that mean he can't go back to Hogwarts for classes?" Fred suddenly asked.

“I really enjoy Professor Moody’s classes,” George said. “He knows so much about how to combat dark magic.”

“We learned a lot of useful things from him.”

“I’m afraid that won’t work…” Sirius stammered. “The healers won’t allow him to leave St. Mungo’s until they’re sure he’s completely clear-headed.”

For some reason, Sirius's expression suddenly became a little strange, as if he was deliberately avoiding something.

"Oh, right, I have something to do. See you next time," Sirius said, then prepared to leave.

“But Harry will be here soon,” Fred said. “Don’t you want to see him?”

“Harry?” Sirius Black instinctively stopped. “He’s coming to Diagon Alley too?”

“That’s right,” George said.

“We accidentally saw the letter he wrote to Ron.”

"And Hermione, the three of them agreed to come to Diagon Alley this afternoon to buy what they need, and Mom has also prepared a celebration party."

Xiren then remembered that he seemed to have received a letter from Hedwig yesterday, but he was busy at the time, so he just opened it, glanced at it, and put it aside after confirming that it was nothing important.

The message above seems to say that they will be coming to Diagon Alley this afternoon.

"Ah, I have something else to do, so I won't wait any longer," Sirius said, his eyes darting away.

“Don’t worry, Harry’s not angry anymore,” Fred said. “In fact, Dad has already told him that you and Mad-Eye have been looking for the Death Eaters.”

“And even if you leave now, you’ll definitely come back tonight, since it’s something to celebrate,” George said.

“Although we don’t think so…” Fred said, glancing at Celan, “to be honest, I always thought they would choose you, but it turned out to be Harry… Of course, Harry would have been a good fit, but you are a Triwizard Tournament champion and won the championship for Hogwarts.”

"What are you talking about?" Xilun asked, puzzled. "How did we get back to the Triwizard Tournament?"

“You’ll find out tonight,” Fred said. “When we left, Mom specifically asked us to invite you to the Burrow for dinner.”
