Hogwarts: Don't call me Wandmaker

Chapter 336 Harry Turns into a Badger

Chapter 336 Harry Turns into a Badger
The students all went to the Great Hall to prepare for dinner, leaving only Siron, Ron, and Hermione in the spacious Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom... oh, and a black and white honey badger.

As punishment for yelling at the professor, Ron was not only required to do more homework, but also to stay behind and restore the classroom to its original state.

This is no easy task. During class just now, all sorts of out-of-control magic had already blown the classroom to smithereens.

The walls were covered with signs of magical damage, and most of the tables, chairs and benches were broken, with either a broken leg or a hole in them.

The podium was blown to pieces by Moody himself, and the blackboard was broken in two by some kind of magic. One half was on the ground, and the other half broke through the window and fell outside, and it's still unknown where it's hiding in the bushes.

If Ron were to do this level of repair alone, he wouldn't even have time to eat dinner; it would be a miracle if he could finish before curfew.

So, after his desperate pleas, Sherren and Hermione decided to stay and help him.

As for Harry being turned into a honey badger… well, there was nothing he could do about it. With the students from the previous Defense Against the Dark Arts class leaving the classroom, word of Professor Moody turning him into an animal must have already spread.

Harry didn't want to be recognized, especially by Malfoy from Slytherin.

He'd bet his firebolt that Malfoy already knew about it... He'd just pretended to be passing by and lingered at the door for a long time until Hermione brought up Professor Moody, at which point they left, grumbling and cursing.

Even a fool could tell that Draco was talking nonsense.

At this hour, almost everyone is having dinner in the Great Hall. How could he possibly be in the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom on the sixth floor, with three people in total?

Everyone knows how gluttonous Crabbe and Goyle are; unless something is particularly important, they will never miss any opportunity to feast.

For them, mocking Harry Potter was a particularly important thing.

So it's obvious that Malfoy won't give up so easily, and he's probably waiting for him on the way to the Great Hall right now.

Harry shrank further into his desk, making sure he was completely hidden.

In his current state, he can't be of much help; all he can do is keep you company and avoid causing trouble.

Five minutes later, the last pane of glass was repaired by Xilun, and the entire classroom was completely restored to its original state.

“Okay, so what do we do now?” Ron asked, panting, as he sat down. He had never used so many healing charms at once before, and his wrists felt numb.

"If we go to the auditorium now, will we still be able to make it in time for dinner?"

“It should be about right.” Hermione glanced at her watch. “It’s been half an hour since dinner time. If we hurry, we should still be able to get something to eat.”

“What about Harry?” Cyril said, pulling a honey badger out from under the desk. “Malfoy and the others are definitely still here. If we bring him into the Great Hall, they’ll definitely recognize us.”

“Yeah, and Malfoy too… what an annoying guy. If it weren’t for him wasting our time, we would have been done long ago.” Ron paused, then frowned and began to mutter curses at Malfoy under his breath.

"What should we do then?" Hermione asked.

After being busy for so long, she was actually a little hungry, but all the food would disappear after dinner at Hogwarts, and if she didn't prepare her own snacks, she would have to wait until the next morning.

...She could actually go to the kitchen to find something to eat, but Hermione, who was used to following school rules most of the time, obviously didn't realize this.

“First, we need to figure out how to break the spell on Harry,” Hermione continued, gesturing with her wand at the honey badger before quickly putting it down.

“No, I’m not sure. What about you?” She turned to look at Siron. “Your shapeshifting is better than mine. Can you break Professor Moody’s spell?” Siron thought for a moment and shook his head.

Like Hermione, he wasn't entirely confident either.

Human transformation is one of the most complex forms of transfiguration, with countless possibilities. What if Moody has ulterior motives and secretly hides a secondary transformation (first turning Harry into an animal, then into a honey badger)?

If Siron tries to break the curse by transforming into a normal human, not only will he fail, but Harry will also retain some honey badger features forever... such as an extra tail or his hair turning black and white.

While the real Alastor Moody certainly wouldn't do that, what if he does? Everyone says he's become neurotic since retiring, and who knows if he might suddenly make some unexpected decisions?

Xilun could guess what he was going to say...

"Be on your guard! This is the consequence of your carelessness—casting the antidote before figuring out exactly what spell the enemy used!"

Hmm... that possibility cannot be ruled out.

"What should we do then!" Ron scratched his head.

Just then, Hermione suddenly thought of something and said, "Professor McGonagall, she must have a way!"

“That’s all we can do now.” Siron nodded and said, “Ron, Hermione, you two go to the Great Hall and distract everyone else. I’ll take Harry to find Professor McGonagall while we’re at it.”

"As a trio known to the entire school, if you appear in the Great Hall, everyone will subconsciously assume that Harry is with you, and then no one will pay attention to the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom."

“Well… okay, no problem.” Ron and Hermione exchanged a glance and nodded simultaneously. They both knew that Siren was referring to Malfoy.

“We’re going right now.” Ron turned to run out, but was quickly stopped by Siron.

"Don't rush. Just to be on the safe side, take this with you." As he spoke, Xiren tapped a piece of parchment on the ground with his wand, a parchment that someone had dropped.

The parchment twirled rapidly in the air. In the blink of an eye, it transformed into a black and white honey badger that looked exactly like Harry.

Then he stuffed the honey badger into Ron's robe pocket, leaving only half of its tail sticking out.

Excellent, perfect!

Then Ron and Hermione went out, acting furtively, like thieves.

About five minutes later, Siron also left the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom carrying a backpack.

Those who ate quickly had already left the hall. There were quite a few people in the castle, gathered in twos and threes, chatting and laughing as they walked forward.

When Siron passed by, he could still hear them discussing the last Defense Against the Dark Arts class... Just as they suspected, the news of Harry being turned into a honey badger had already spread throughout the castle.

Fortunately, their attention was drawn to Hermione and Ron who had just passed by, and no one paid any attention to Celen carrying a backpack.
