Hogwarts: Don't call me Wandmaker

Chapter 306 Advice for Roberts

Chapter 306 Advice for Roberts

What will happen to Fred and George when they return? Will they be beaten to death by Mrs. Weasley? Only they themselves probably know.

By this time, the group had arrived at Weasel Mountain, not far from their humble abode.

This is a small hill, not particularly high, but it has many hidden rabbit holes and sticky grass leaves that make you slippery when you step on them.

So when everyone reached the top of the mountain, they were all panting heavily, and their legs were trembling uncontrollably.

They also encountered two wizards from another family there, Amos Diggory and his son Cedric Diggory.

The Digory family also lived in the village of San Cachipol, but unlike the Burrow, they lived on the other side of the village.

Amos Diggory is a red-faced wizard with a short brown beard. He is very enthusiastic and can even chat with Siron, whom he is meeting for the first time.

The only downside might be that he always likes to show off his son... Of course, Cedric is indeed very talented.

But at this moment, he kept bringing up OWL's results, saying things like how many Os Cedric got and how he was first in his grade, which made Fred and George, who were standing next to him, a little uncomfortable.

Their performance in this OWL wasn't very good; otherwise, Mrs. Weasley wouldn't have been so angry.

Hermione, on the other hand, was quite interested in this. If the occasion hadn't been inappropriate, she might have gone up to Cedric to exchange his experience of being number one in the year.

"Thank goodness, it seems I'm not too late." Just then, someone else arrived.

Mr. Weasley and Amos Diggory both paused for a moment.

Because there are only four wizarding families near Weasel Mountain, and apart from these two families, the Lovegood family had already arrived there a week ago, saying they were going to find some kind of horned beast... I think that's what it's called.

Finally, there was the Fawcett family, but they couldn't get tickets.

Could it be that old Fawcett has finally decided to spend the money?
The two of them instinctively turned their heads.

Upon recognizing the newcomer, Mr. Amos Diggory looked bewildered, but everyone else, including Cedric, exclaimed in delight.

"Professor Lupin?!"

"It's so nice to see you all here." Lupin wiped the sweat from his brow and said breathlessly, "Well, the door key hasn't expired yet, has it?"

“You’ve come at the perfect time, just one minute to spare.” Mr. Weasley glanced at his watch.

Even now, he still has some doubts and doesn't understand why Remus Lupin is here.
Because I didn't prepare his ticket.

Lupin, on the other hand, would certainly not be willing to spend hundreds of Galleons to buy a match ticket.

Just then, Xilun walked over.

"Professor Lupin, I thought you would join us at the competition venue?"

“That’s what I was thinking too,” Lupin said, “but since I’ve accepted your invitation, I still think it’s better to work with you.”

Now, everyone's attention turned to Xilun.

“My grandfather gave me two tickets,” Siren explained. “It just so happened that Professor Lupin and I had just returned from Egypt, and to avoid wasting them, I invited him to watch the game with me.”

Originally, Lupin wasn't in the mood to watch any Quidditch matches because of what happened at Sirius's first hearing, until Siren told him that Harry would also be there and would likely encounter Death Eaters during the match.

If someone else had said that, Lupin certainly wouldn't have believed it, but it's different with Xilun.

Even when he was still in school, he'd heard rumors that Cyril was an extremely rare wizard with a talent for prophecy, a claim even Sybil Trelawney, the Divination professor, tacitly agreed with. So, when Cyril said Harry would encounter Death Eaters, he couldn't afford to be indifferent.

Just in case, Lupin accepted Xilun's invitation and arrived at Weasel Mountain early in the morning.

However, neither Silen nor Lupin mentioned this point.

"Alright, we can talk about this later. Now everyone better get over here quickly." Mr. Weasley glanced at his watch again and beckoned everyone to gather around a worn-out boot.

"Whenever you touch the door key, just hold up one finger like this..."

As the watch hands slowly turned, at a certain moment, a burst of blue light suddenly emanated from the boot.

But at this point, no one should have noticed. Because the next second, they all vanished simultaneously from the summit of Weasel Mountain.

Once their feet touched the ground again, Xiren found that they had arrived at a large, desolate, misty swamp.

Beside them were Harry and Ron, who were staggering and falling to the ground. Apart from a few adults, Cedric and Cyron, everyone else had stumbled and fallen to the ground.

"Five o'clock, from Weasel Mountain." A voice was heard.

These are Ministry of Magic staff members, registering each wizard who arrives. It looks like they've already arrived.

Mr. Weasley clearly recognized him, and the two quickly struck up a conversation.

“Weasley, you’re in the first field, the campmaster is Mr. Roberts. Ollivander too. Diggory… you’re in the second field…”

They parted ways with the Diggory family here.

Xilun walked to the other side, from where he could clearly see the tents stretching out in the distance.

Those Death Eaters should be mixed in there, and so should Barty Crouch Jr....

The other party is also the main reason why Xilun came to watch the Quidditch World Cup.

"How come you're completely unharmed?" Harry appeared beside them and said, "I could barely stand up."

“This is what it’s like to use a Port Key for the first time,” Siren said, regaining his senses. “Just like when you first use FlooNet, once you use it a few more times and get used to it, you’ll find that the Port Key is actually the gentlest mode of transportation.”

Speaking of Floonet, Harry subconsciously thought of his second year when he first used the fireplace, and immediately nodded in deep agreement.

Compared to a fireplace filled with dust, a door key does seem better.

After Mr. Weasley exchanged a few more words with the staff, the group set off again for the camp.

They walked through a desolate swamp, where they could barely see anything in the thick fog. After about twenty minutes, they gradually came into view a door, and then a small stone house.

There was a man standing at the door; that must be Mr. Roberts.

Mr. Weasley exchanged a few words with the other man, pulled a roll of Muggle banknotes from his pocket, then stepped back a few paces, gesturing for Harry to help him.

"Quick, help me check. We and Xilen together have to pay a total of thirty-nine pounds. This is... is it... ten pounds?"

“I’ll do it.” Celen walked over, took the banknotes from Mr. Weasley, glanced at them, and expertly counted out forty pounds and handed them to Mr. Roberts.
