Chapter 461 Flesh and Planting

Chapter 461 Flesh and Planting
Seed of flesh and blood, a first-circle spell.

A wondrous spell whose casting material is mostly one's own flesh and blood. Depending on the caster's choice, the direction of the spell can vary greatly, all because of its special nature—the seed of flesh and blood. According to records, the spell originated from an experiment by a high-ranking wizard who attempted to grow a new self from a seed in a desolate place that ordinary people could not set foot in. This experiment involved many things and many problems, and ultimately ended in failure. In this failed experiment that lasted for decades, naturally, many useful small results were also born, among which this first-level spell was produced.

This spell originated from one of the spells that the wizard used to plant seeds in the early stages of his experiments. Later, it was discovered that this minor spell had more potential, and some minor modifications were made while observing it, which led to the current Seed of Flesh spell.

The Seed of Flesh and Blood can be used as a spell to injure enemies. Its effect varies greatly depending on the type of flesh and blood. For example, some wizards with special bloodlines or special modifications, such as those with a cursed body, often have considerable power when they cast this spell.

But many wizards who learn this spell will choose to cultivate it more carefully, restoring it to its original purpose: planting.

Planting a seed of flesh and blood, nurtured and watered with powerful spiritual energy, can achieve the purpose of controlling the enemy. Even a powerful wizard of the same level will be interfered with to some extent once it is successful, and may even be controlled under special circumstances. However, this method of cultivating a seed of flesh and blood on the body is time-consuming and laborious, and is no longer a powerful means of harming the enemy.

If cultivated properly, the planted flesh seed will grow rapidly. The caster who masters this spell can experience its terror firsthand. This leads to another use of the flesh seed: planting it on oneself.

Some wizards who were on the verge of death and beyond saving, such as those with wounds that could never heal, were recorded to have relied on the Seed of Flesh and Blood magic to forcibly piece themselves back together using its wildly growing roots, and barely managed to live for another hundred years until they tried to expel the power attached to the wound, and a tiny mistake finally led to their death.

Planting the seed of flesh and blood on the caster's own body has more than just the benefit of delaying the healing of injuries; it also has some other clever uses.

The specifics depend on the wizard's choice.

Ruger scratched his chin from time to time. He admitted that he had only intended to do a simple inventory at first, but he couldn't control his claws and ended up reading the book.

Ruger glanced at the twenty-one notebooks researching the spell again, hesitated for a moment, then carefully put the storage bag away and sent it directly into his bedroom space.

Now is not the time to do these things.

As they drew nearer to their goal, Valin became the most nervous person in the group, her seemingly unchanging expression concealing her anxiety.

Ruger sensed her distress.

Valin is probably thinking, or rather hoping, that the wizard Zorn's speculations are true, and that this hairy-chested, alcoholic man is right this time.

As the giant snake sat down and twisted its body to move forward, the surrounding mushrooms went from swaying to hopping.

Although they are described as hopping, they are still rooted in the earth, which makes the road ahead undulate like waves. Under this wonderful view, it is as if the whole world is a soft pastry.

Fortunately, the large snake under its rear easily overcame all these challenges, and even climbed faster after mastering the rhythm.

Luger stared at the castle at the end of the road, momentarily stunned, feeling that it looked somewhat familiar.

This reminded him of a name he had heard when he first entered this fairy kingdom: Mirror Fairy.

This guy likes to imitate. The most eye-catching thing in that royal city complex looks just like the phantom of the Three Flames Divine Palace that I've seen before, except that it's three big, red mushrooms twisted together.

Are you here for the King's wedding too?

Fairies gradually began to appear around, and a friendly little fairy flapped its wings and came over to chat.

"Welcome, welcome! Distinguished guests from afar!"

The fairies seemed to know that Luger and his companions came from outside the kingdom, but they were still very welcoming.

After chattering for a few moments, the little creature fluttered away again. Zorn also put away the giant snake, and the group resumed walking, looking around and admiring the royal city.

It's a chance to appreciate the Three Flames Divine Palace, which I've never seen before and will never see again. I just wonder how much it resembles it, Luger thought to himself.

"Look, guests from afar have come to offer their blessings for the king's wedding..."

"They look like they come from outside the country."

"Yes, they are travelers from afar, but what does the wedding mean?"

"how could I know."

Ruger listened to a few little fairies chatting by the roadside and realized that these clueless little guys who were just laughing like idiots were the majority here.

Or rather, fairies are these little creatures who love this, love to be silly and happy, don't care about the reasons, love to run hotels, and don't worry about the customers. They can be very happy, they can run hotels very seriously, they can easily find a spiritual refuge, and firmly believe in it.

This is why some people think that fairies are stupid and foolish, that they don't investigate the reasons behind things, and that they are easily deceived.

Watch along the way.

Besides the winged fairies that people usually imagine, there are also those abnormal fairies.

Ruger was walking down the street when he saw a man in full armor sitting there drinking. Upon closer inspection, he realized there was no one inside the armor, and the wine he was drinking had disappeared into nowhere. He was chatting with the fairies next to him.

“Lord Zorn, it seems these houses are moving,” Valin suddenly said.

In fact, Ruger had already noticed that it wasn't just them walking on the street; the surrounding buildings were also moving, as if inviting them to a place.

Of course, that's the nice way to put it; a darker perspective would be to say it's misleading them.

Zorn did not respond, but simply led them forward.

This feeling is also quite nice; you don't have to choose a path, the path and the scenery on both sides will adjust themselves.

The royal city seemed to be gradually growing larger, as if the entire city were alive.

Led by Zorn, Ruger and his party continued walking until a magnificent palace came into view.

"You shouldn't have come..."

The sorceress Gillian stood alone in the empty palace, speaking softly as her gaze swept over them.

The group stopped, as if afraid that their muddy boots would soil the golden carpet in the center of the palace.

Ruger blinked, and he suddenly realized that the wizard Gillian, whom he hadn't seen for many days, seemed to have turned into a man.
