Chapter 325 Like a Nightmare (Part 1)

"The captain has given orders for you to relocate immediately." Wang Qianduan's words interrupted the team's chatter. Zhang Yingzi, who was standing next to him, threw out a silver Rubik's Cube, which instantly transformed into a cabinet upon landing.

She opened the cabinet door, and inside was a deep passageway.

"Huh?" Jiang Siqi asked in surprise, "But the captain is still in a meeting. Isn't our mission to protect him?"

“His security will be handled by others,” Wang Qianduan replied expressionlessly. “You just need to follow orders.”

Both he and Zhang Yingzi were trusted confidants brought by Xiao Kanong when he was parachuted in, so it wasn't surprising that the acting captain relayed the order.

Although everyone felt the arrangement was a bit abrupt, they still did as instructed.

Honglian, as the group leader, was the last to enter the cabinet.

She couldn't see the backs of those who had entered the passage before her, even if they had only entered five seconds earlier. Several people stood in the room, but none of them were her team members. Wang Qianduan stood guard at the exit, hands clasped behind his back, seemingly waiting for her, even though he had been in the lounge with Zhang Yingzi just before she entered the cabinet.

Honglian immediately became alert.

"What about the rest?"

Wang Qianduan didn't answer, but instead gestured to the others.

They swarmed forward, rushing towards Honglian. She turned around, surprised to find that the passage she had come from had vanished.

But even at this moment, she was still unwilling to lay a hand on her colleagues—because she noticed that they were all wearing badges representing the headquarters, and that they were from the headquarters' logistics team.

The crowd that surrounded her grabbed Honglian's arms, twisted them behind her back, and with a click, a pair of handcuffs were fastened to her wrists.

"What do you mean by this?" Honglian glared angrily. "You're trying to illegally detain an executive agent of the organization?"

He took a card out of his pocket and showed it to him.

"Are you a member of the arbitration tribunal?"

"According to the organization's regulations, we suspect that you have colluded with illegal ability users and seriously threatened the security of the Security Agency," Wang Qianduan announced. "Headquarters has relieved you of all your duties, and I will now be in charge of the interrogation."

Honglian's heart sank to the bottom.

This was not a trial interrogation; they were clearly already aware of their contact with the Wanderers.
