Chapter 852 848. Comments on "Story of Wind and Beauty"

Hello everyone, I am Cang Yiwei.

Just chat with you guys today.

When I was looking for a book to post a short video during the day, I saw the system recommend such a book.

"Story of Wind and Beauty", Rosen, level 5 author.

Category: Fantasy-Dynasty.

【Introduction】

Brief comment: The precursor of the storm will shake the entire continent of wind!

The wedding, full of secrets, attracted the attention of many parties, turning Siam into a battleground for the seven major sects to fight openly and secretly.

The ambitious Lancelot, the swordsman Hanajiro, the mysterious and wise Hong Goro, and the adventurous Tiandi Youxue, riding on this undercurrent, either intentionally or unintentionally, gathered in Siam by chance and jointly set off a huge wave that hit the Wind Continent.

Lancelot, the man honored as "King of My Will" by later historians, left countless great achievements in the history of the Wind Continent, and his throne gleamed in blood and fire.

A masterpiece of fantasy adventure in another world, the legendary story of King Lancelot officially begins here!

【Brief Comment】

I couldn't help but frown!
Of course I have heard of this book, but what I wonder is when it was released.

"The Story of Feng Zi" is known as the originator of Chinese fantasy literature.

It began serialization in 1997 and ended in 2006, with a total of 502 million words.

It was twelve years earlier than Tudou's "Fights Break Sphere", eleven years earlier than San Shao's "Douluo Dalu", eight years earlier than I Eat Tomatoes' "Legend of Star Peak", and seven years earlier than Chen Dong's "Immortality".

If domestic fantasy literature wants to trace its roots, "The Story of Feng Zi" is definitely one of the ancestors.

Judging by its timeline, in an era of scarce online literature resources, this book is bound to become a model for many online writers, especially those of fantasy fiction. The book features a detailed continental setting and realm divisions, interspersed with characters from different eras, similar to the infinite flow of time. Its lighthearted style, which teases history, has won widespread popularity. In the book, Lu You and Zhou Gongjin become master and apprentice, Huang Taiji and Dorgon are actually two incarnations of the same person, and Li Yu is an elusive, otherworldly swordsman.

For similar works, you can refer to Zhang Xiaohua's "The First Chaos in History", but "The Story of Fengzi" is still mainly about fantasy adventure. In different volumes of the story, the protagonist Lancelot is introduced to play different roles and witnesses.

Because it's such an early work, it has a number of flaws: the logic is confusing, the sentences jump around, and the key moments are hard to grasp. Reader feedback hasn't been particularly good, and compared to other classic fantasy novels, it lacks completeness.

The anime has recently aired, and there aren't many negative reviews on a certain website. It's a headache. Ruining classics is something that happens in every field.

【to sum up】

Writing is not easy, so cherish every moment.

I’m Cang Yiwei, and I’m here to promote “Cang’s Ramblings”.

Welcome to the paradise of book reviews.

【Cang's Ramblings】

Regarding this book, I believe many old readers have read it.

The broadcast of the anime has also prompted many new readers to look for the original work.

After reading it, most people complained that it ruined the beautiful classic in the hearts of readers.

This is a very normal phenomenon. No matter how good a novel is, it cannot withstand various ruthless adaptations.

Like the most common comic book adaptations, how many of them have been a huge success?
It is right for readers not to accept it, which shows that readers have the ability to judge.

It’s not that easy to make money.

Therefore, if you read this book for the above reasons, you may be disappointed.
