Chapter 496 492. Comments on "Burial of Yuan"

Today I would like to recommend to you a novel that has just been widely recommended.

"Burial of Yuan", Wulie, level 3 author.

Category: History - Song, Yuan and Ming Dynasties.

【Introduction】

A policewoman chases a fugitive, and the two of them come to the cruel Yuan Dynasty together... How can they survive?
"Our Great Yuan" is full of awe, and "the Holy Emperor" is as high as the sun. How many people in the world are not slaves?
Fugitive: Let’s rebel!
Policewoman: Eat your fill first!

【Golden Five Chapters】

Chapter One: A female police officer and a male criminal travel to ancient times. Policewoman Choi Soo-nyung travels to South Korea and encounters a previously pursued fugitive, Li Luo. She gives chase, but they both fall into a cave and travel to the summit of a snowy mountain. Now, neither can return.

Chapter 2: Conversation in the Snow Cave. The two chatted for a long time in the snow cave, discussing Li Luo's family background, his involvement in tomb-robbing crimes, the historical era they were in, how they would survive after they escaped, and so on. Basically, the two were bound together.

Chapter 3, the 16th year of the Zhiyuan era. The two protagonists trudged down the mountain and finally found a courtyard. An elderly Jurchen man opened the door. His family had been killed by the Mongols. The two pretended to be Koreans, only to encounter Jurchens. This dynasty was the reign of Kublai Khan.

Chapter 4, The Golden Belt. This chapter is filled with historical material, often overly scientific. The protagonist wants to sell his belt for some money. The elderly man, sensing the affection of his deceased son and daughter-in-law, offers to help them.

Chapter 5: Shared Room, Different Beds. The two protagonists share a room, but separate beds. Choi Soo-nyung tosses and turns in bed, urinating and mumbling in her sleep, a restless sleep. The protagonist ponders a great deal, particularly the tens of millions of dollars in wealth from her past life. Upon waking, they realize this wasn't a dream. The two must face reality.

【Brief Comment】

Wu Lie, a level 3 author, only has this book to his name.

It was released on March 6th, and the first order did not exceed 3. It now has 2.9 collections on Qidian, 1.37 collections on Shucheng, 7.15 fans, and 4 alliance leaders.

This is a female author who writes male-oriented novels. Many of them have become gods. So, don't make any different assumptions based on gender.

When I was looking for books yesterday, I also saw this book. Its reading index in the history category is relatively high.

But when I clicked on it, I found it was a novel about the Yuan Dynasty, with some policewoman, male gangster and so on, which seemed a bit like a female-oriented novel. That was it.

I didn't expect it to be featured in the top recommendations today. I wondered if there was something magical about it that made the editor take it so seriously.

After trying it out, I actually felt a little regretful and depressed.

This book is not very exciting and not very enjoyable to read. It has a heavy historical and popular science flavor, which is boring and the story is not strong.

Then there's the setting: a policewoman and a male gangster travel through time together, pretending to be a married couple and starting out in Goryeo to make a fortune. For male readers, Korean dramas aren't their thing, and neither is Goryeo, let alone a Goryeo counterattack against the Yuan Dynasty. What kind of fantasy is this?
Of course, the author's thoughts are still very delicate. She has given detailed responses to readers' feedback, has her own relatively mature ideas, and is very confident in completing the book.

Having said all this, I can't really say anything in favor of this book. It's definitely not a comforting novel. Feel free to read it and give it your support.

【to sum up】

Writing is not easy, so cherish every moment!

【Cang's Ramblings】

The advantages and disadvantages of female authors writing male-oriented novels are actually very obvious.

They are stable and meticulous, but rarely have the "big picture" of Mr. Luo Yonghao.

It is difficult for them to write about the kind of soul-stirring and magnificent history.

So, you can try to have a look.
