Cang's Ramblings
Chapter 1502 Review of "Entertainment: Your Emperor's Chapter Has Arrived"
Chapter 1502 Review of "Entertainment: Your Emperor Has Returned"
Hello everyone, I am Lao Cang.
Today I'd like to talk about a new book by a renowned author.
"Entertainment: Your Emperor is Back", by I am the Whitest.
【Introduction】
Lin Mo transmigrated to Earth and, with the help of a system, worked hard for decades to finally build his own entertainment empire. However, he unexpectedly died at the age of thirty due to overwork!
Until five years later...
Lin Mo was reborn into the body of a nobody.
Will he re-log in to his main account and stage a triumphant return? Or will he see through all the fleeting glamour and live a peaceful life from now on?
【Brief Comment】
I won't go into the author's biography; those who enjoy entertainment novels should already know him. I wouldn't dare call him the king of entertainment novels, but among current entertainment novel authors, he could easily rank in the top three.
For those who haven't read any entertainment novels before, start with this new one. Optimistically, it shouldn't be abandoned.
1. Let's start with the disadvantages.
Rebirth, system panel, plagiarism, and gift pack rewards. These elements are quite common in entertainment novels, so the initial concept isn't particularly outstanding. Especially the connection to the previous work (Full-Time Artist), including the apparent death of the previous protagonist who is reborn as the protagonist of the new book, doesn't feel abrupt; rather, it's quite interesting. It's as if he's inherited himself and lived a second life.
To quote directly from the book:
"Only solar energy can reach Black Linmo!"
After Lin Mo passed away,
"Now even the sun can't shine on Lin Mo anymore!"
It might seem a bit childish, but that's how "feel-good" novels are written—to fully engage the reader's emotions. It can be pretentious, it can be profound, but it must be direct, allowing the reader to experience the thrill just by reading the words. This is the most powerful aspect of beginner-friendly "feel-good" novels. 2. Now let's talk about the advantages.
The pacing is quite comfortable. The protagonist, Gu Xing, was originally just a minor character who had been sidelined. After learning of his rebirth, he quickly adapted to his new role, completed system tasks, received rewards, and accepted new missions—everything felt natural and smooth. There wasn't much dwelling on the cause of his death in his previous life, the emotional adjustment after rebirth, or various reflections on striving for self-improvement.
Now that I've been reborn, let's get started with the missions. Threatening my manager, terminating my contract, appearing on TV shows, being ignored, collaborating with a female artist who's also been subjected to unspoken rules—basically, a guest performer. I pulled up the system's music library and chose "Under the Sea" by Phoenix Legend. I even watched the original video; it was truly breathtaking.
The story began to gain traction online, and the protagonist's five answers won over the followers, improving his reputation. The final was live, and the slap in the face plot was just around the corner. The groundwork and progression so far were flawless. It created anticipation and made the reading experience relatively easy, especially for readers who don't like to delve too deeply into logic. However, it wasn't entirely bland either; at least the supporting characters' roles were well-executed and timely.
While highlighting the key points, the author also pays close attention to details. You can check out how the author portrays the supporting characters and handles the online buzz. It's both exaggerated and reasonable.
3. Worry
Undeniably, this book has its merits and is, in some ways, more interesting than *Genius Playground*. However, given that my two most recent books both suffered from poor endings, it's hard not to be skeptical of his new work. Despite not gaining greater exposure, the sales figures are already quite impressive.
Oh, and I also have to complain about the title. It's so blatant it makes me want to roll my eyes. It would be better to have some self-respect and come up with a more elegant title, like "Rebirth: I Inherited My Own Cheat Code and Became the New Entertainment Emperor" (just kidding).
【to sum up】
Writing is not easy, so cherish every moment.
I’m Cang Yiwei, and I’m here to promote “Cang’s Ramblings”.
Welcome to the paradise of book reviews.
【Cang's Ramblings】
It's undeniable that as long as there are updates, there will still be viewers, it's just a matter of how many.
Therefore, I should still write more.
There are many ways to make money, but this is the only book on this subject. I can't let it be ruined by me.
