Chapter 1450 Comments on "Participating in a dating variety show, this young man is too down-to-earth"
Hello everyone, I am Cang Yiwei.
Today I would like to recommend to you a fine urban novel with tens of thousands of subscriptions.
"Participating in a dating variety show, this young hunk is too down-to-earth", Not Garlic But Narcissus, a level 1 author.
Category: Urban-Entertainment Stars.
Summary:
As a remnant of the castrated talent show era, Gu Huaian, who has never made his debut, finally accepted an announcement for a dating variety show, and unexpectedly awakened a [down-to-earth] system.
Being down-to-earth in front of the camera can gain bonuses in singing, music theory, and acting skills, as well as plagiarism of various otherworldly lyrics and music libraries as rewards!
then……
At the scene of the dating variety show, Gu Huaian, who is the handsome guy of the show, gradually went astray!
Eating melon seeds, showing off potato chips, and taking female celebrities to eat at roadside stalls!
Play basketball at the village entrance, eat the pig-killing meal, and take the female guests to dance square dance!
Do celebrities need to eat fat-reducing meals?
nonexistent!
Big mouthful of dazzling noodles and buns, a burst of carbohydrates!
Should caviar be savored slowly and in small bites?
Gu Huaian: "Are you kidding me? Who can eat this much? If the foreigners next door see me, they'll think I can't afford it. Bring another can, one for each person!"
It’s hard to imagine that such a handsome young man can be so down-to-earth. It’s quite a contrast!
Originally, because of his down-to-earth nature, Gu Huaian hadn't planned on successfully holding hands with the female guest, but who knew...
At the hand-holding session at the end of the show, all the female guests chose him!
【Brief Comment】
He only has this book to his name, and it took him 80 days to create. In his commentary on the release, he admitted that he has been writing books for many years and is not a newcomer. So this is just a new account.
It was launched on June 1st, with an initial order of 9800 and a subscription-to-book ratio of 6. Judging from the recommended position, it has been strongly recommended on Sanjiang and the homepage.
On June 1st, it had over 50,000 collections. On June 3rd, it had over 100,000 collections. On June 5th, it had over 200,000 collections. On June 11th, it had over 300,000 collections. (It was fake at first glance.) On June 15th, it reached 10,000 subscriptions, and the badge was lit. I updated 50,000 words on the day it was released, and then more than 10,000 words every day thereafter. So, in just 40 days, the word count has reached 800,000 words. It's terrifying.
That's about it when it comes to performance. Looking at the entirety of Dian Dian, there are only a handful of urban writers with such a strong appeal. Looking at all the categories across Dian Dian, only top-tier platinum-winning writers can command such a high volume. So this author is quite capable.
I've also taken a quick look at the story, and the beginning is pretty exciting. When I was doing some research on Luzi and Qiezi before, I came across a lot of top-tier titles with similar themes, all of which started out brilliantly but then collapsed horribly in the later stages.
While this book is primarily about being down-to-earth, it's also about being realistic. Celebrities also engage in behaviors that ordinary people often do, as mentioned in the introduction. The story starts to falter when the protagonist and the actress eat the same part of an ice cream cone. Many people find it incredibly toxic, and my trial reading got stuck there, too. I'll revisit this later.
What I'm saying is that we shouldn't just look at the effort an author puts into their marketing, but also how many words they've updated. Many studio-generated novels focus on an early stage, raking in a quick buck and then running away. That livestreaming novel, for example, was sold in US dollars and the author's account was already at level 4. I hope the author of this book won't be like that.
But it's undeniable that since upgrading their anti-piracy measures, subscriptions for legitimate books have increased several-fold. Many authors from external sites have flocked to the site, reaping the rewards and immediately exiting unscathed. This has also led to a surge in abandoned and unfinished works. The pros and cons are readily apparent: fresh blood has arrived, but there are also many lingering legacy issues. If we downgrade it again, while the leading position of the site remains secure, it has become tainted.
No matter what, friends who are short of books can still go and have a look, it’s not a loss.
【to sum up】
