The story is set in a world where an advanced civilization intervenes in Earth's civilisation, selecting the protagonist as one of its time travelers to travel through different historical periods and timeframes. I haven't quite grasped the purpose of this yet. The first story is a bit of a turn-off, like a brief history, scattershot, attempting to comprehensively depict the customs, social dynamics, and customs of a particular era. It's rather rational, lacking immersion, and it's hard to see the protagonist's role in the story. The perspective is also rather detached, leaving you with a bird's-eye view. You just watch it, but you can't empathise.

At first, I was wondering why the title was "Out of the Cage." Was it meant to depict the release of certain individuals from their cages, or was it a sign of the wickedness of a higher civilization? Or was it possible for humans on Earth to escape their enslavement by a higher civilization by escaping? Anyway, I pondered a few things, but then I couldn't get any further, and I didn't bother to consult with the book's readership circle.

What I want to say is that the author of this book is very good, with a big imagination and a very deep knowledge reserve. Perhaps his original intention was to write a different science fiction text, and wanted to describe the future world in his mind to everyone. Therefore, many parts are more technical, the story is not deep enough, and there are not many characters that can leave an impression on readers. He just can't capture the obvious highlights and highlights.

But at the same time, since this book has become a masterpiece, it means that many people support it. If I don’t like it, it doesn’t mean that the writing is bad, nor does it mean that no one likes it. It’s just a matter of personal taste.
