The book has an unusual beginning, unlike most historical novels.

The protagonist is Zhu Yuan, a time traveler who lived to be in his thirties and was financially independent in his previous life. His soul travels back to the end of the Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, when Zhu Yuanzhang was about to ascend the throne.

Although the protagonist's body was now that of a teenager, he successfully caught Zhu Yuanzhang's attention with the promise of "I will give you a 500-year reign." This wasn't just a promise; it was the measures he outlined during their late-night conversations with Xu Da, along with historical population trends, that truly interested Zhu Yuanzhang.

The protagonist is escorted by Xu Da to Nanjing, where he meets Zhu Yuanzhang, and a significant portion of the book is devoted to the conversation between the two. This is the author's opening statement, and while it might seem rather dull at first glance, the author's meticulous attention to detail and the depth of the content make it a truly compelling and compelling story.

Especially for those who have read many historical novels, they still feel refreshed and enlightened. Quoting from classics is of course necessary, but reasoning and presenting facts are the protagonist's reliance.

Of course, Zhu Yuanzhang wasn't so easily fooled, and wouldn't simply believe a few words. However, since the fate of the nation was at stake, he accepted the protagonist's three-year agreement and suppressed his curiosity about the contents of the "Heavenly Book." The "Heavenly Book" was, in fact, a detailed account of the key historical events that would unfold during the Ming Dynasty, beginning in the first year of the Hongwu reign, from the perspective of later generations. It was far more detailed than the "Tui Bei Tu." For this reason, he didn't dare show it directly to Zhu Yuanzhang.

I'm curious about whether, three years later, when Lao Zhu learns that the protagonist is a transmigrated soul, he'll kill him. After all, it's too fantastical and bizarre, so even if he's not captured and sliced, he'll at least be locked up and interrogated.
