This is a historical text on the history of science and technology. The title does not directly use "Republic of China" because of various restrictions, which everyone understands.

The author also gave a unified explanation of some controversial issues, which were mostly sensitive topics about the late Qing Dynasty and rebellion, which cannot be explained in detail.

I personally find the story very exciting and clever. I actually enjoy reading books from this period because many of them are not long or well written.

The protagonist is a time traveler, without any system or cheat code, and the time of travel is 1902, with the plan to write up to 1930.

This was a unique period, a time when, from the perspective of scientific and technological history, great minds gathered and stars shone brightly. To resolve his identity problem, the protagonist sought help from a hired helper and found a temporary job as a librarian at the Tongwenguan in Beijing. There, he met the then-chief instructor and was introduced to the Iron Hat Prince Yixin, the father of the Fourth Princess, and became an assistant teacher at the palace.

During this period, he published a scientific paper on the basic principles and experimental mechanisms of X-rays, which won the recognition of a number of masters in Europe and was followed to China, making the protagonist's fame soar.

He moved out of the palace, made friends with a group of foreigners, and was invited to write articles for Shenbao and Science magazines.
