This book alone is not my favorite subject, because the knowledge points involved in the book are all my blind spots.

The few academic novels I have read before were mostly in the field of mathematics, and the protagonists all started in high school. The routines were also similar, so it was relatively easy to get into the story.

This book is different. The protagonist is a reborn student, a graduate of the junior class who now holds a doctorate. His background is in biology, and he understands nothing of what the book mentions. Therefore, the first chapter, titled "The 21st Century is the Century of Biology," didn't particularly resonate with me. This is despite the author's extensive explanation, presented in the style of a doctoral dissertation defense.

At the same time, the author's identity seems to be real, or it may be exaggerated. Anyway, he knows a lot, and he can easily draw on knowledge from many different fields and time points with solid reasoning.

Just talking about the story about Newton in the first copy, some readers who are familiar with physics should be familiar with it. Many people may even have read Newton's biography and have great admiration for this great scientist.

So when the author hits Newton on the head and becomes friends with him, he can smile knowingly. At this point, the background setting of the book and the combination of some of Newton's life and current events all highlight the author's writing skills and knowledge reserves.

But purely from the reading experience, it still has a bit of a diary and list-like feeling. It has a lot of knowledge points, but the story is average.
