Chapter 168 First Fleet
The Trisolaran civilization did not have the concept of names. Individuals were either referred to by a string of numbers or by their job title. For example, the sunken ship was called the Human Research Officer, while the Trisolaran who commanded the First Fleet was called the First Captain.

"Captain, the situation on Trisolaris has deteriorated to the point where society is on the verge of coming to a standstill, yet we have yet to receive instructions from the leader. We are only 60 more Blue Star years away from entering the solar system. What should we do then?" asked Crew Member 2.

The captain gazed at the starry sky and asked a seemingly random question.
"Do you think it's better to stay on the warship or stay on the home planet?"

The crew member of ship number 4 immediately replied.
"Of course it's better to stay on the warship. We don't have to face three suns, and we don't have the predicament of struggling to survive as soon as we open our eyes. Apart from the limited space to move around, I can't think of any place that's worse than our home planet."

The captain asked again.

"Is it better to have a solar system with a stable star, or to stay on a warship?"

The crew member of ship number 6 looked thoughtful.

"The solar system is probably better. There is light and heat, beautiful scenery and life there. Judging from the images sent back by Sophon 1, it is as beautiful as a fairyland."

The captain nodded and said...
"So, are we going to abandon our life on the warship and return to our home planet? Are we going to abandon the environment of the solar system and stay in the stars? Mr. Jiang Fan is right about one thing: once we are free from the basic survival crisis, we should yearn for a better life."

The second crew member raised a question,
"However, humanity will not accept us. Judging from the conversation between the leader and Mr. Jiang Fan transmitted by Sophon IV, they each have their own plans and are completely unable to reach an agreement!"

"Mr. Jiang Fan wants the Trisolaran civilization's sophon manufacturing technology, but the leader is unwilling to give it to him because it is the civilization's core secret and bottom line."

"The leader's refusal will lead to Mr. Jiang Fan refusing the Trisolaran fleet's entry into the solar system. Otherwise, even if it means broadcasting interstellar coordinates and destroying everything, there is no way he would back down."

"The reason why we haven't brought our First Fleet into the open yet is because the two sides are engaged in a high-level civilizational contest."

"Whoever loses their temper and compromises first will determine our fate."

The captain nodded slightly.

“Normally, that’s how it is. In Earth’s parlance, we are all pawns in the game between the head of state and Mr. Jiang Fan.”

"But who says that a chess piece can't have its own will and choices?"

"In the Civilization Trilogy starring the Goddess of Dawn and the Goddess of Sleep, I clarified a concept: the will of any collective is a highly unified unity of individual wills,"

"Just as rivers and lakes are waves formed by the convergence of every drop of water, if more and more drops of water change course, then the original great rivers will also branch out!"

"In the eyes of the Führer, we are pawns testing the will of humanity; in the eyes of the Führer, the Trisolaran civilians are pawns working for the development of civilization."

"But now, the people of our home planet have taken the lead in rebelling against the tyranny of the leader, and have proposed to learn from Blue Star, to learn from Dawn City, to meet all of Mr. Jiang Fan's conditions, and to go to live in the solar system."

"This is a typical river diversion phenomenon. The First Fleet can do the same. No one says we can't take the initiative to contact Earth civilization!"

Having said that, the first captain's eyes shone brightly.
"The advance team's experience has proven everything; the commander's lifestyle on Earth is enviable!"

"Perhaps the integration of civilizations is not as bad as we think. The leader is not able to be of one mind with the vast majority of Trisolaran civilians on this point."

The fourth crew member asked, his voice slightly trembling.
"So, what are you going to do?"

He seemed to have caught something, but he wasn't sure.

The captain shook his head.

"Let's move forward. We are not pawns to be used for testing, but a group of thoughtful Trisolarans who yearn for a better life. We believe Mr. Jiang Fan has the courage to accept us." (Blue Star Central Building)

Jiang Fan suddenly sneezed and muttered something.
"Someone is insulting me."

Xiling burst into laughter, her full breasts jiggling beneath the pale blue and white iris-patterned fabric, a dazzling sight.

"Heh heh heh, you actually believe this completely unscientific claim?"

Jiang Fan thought of the joke from the first life and blurted out,
"You don't understand, this is called a quantum mechanical warning; someone has triggered an entanglement effect on me."

"Hahaha~" Xiling laughed even louder, even pressing her whole body against the man's arm, the constantly vibrating soft touch constantly assaulting Jiang Fan's brain.

His heart raced uncontrollably, and he said somewhat awkwardly,

"Stop laughing, Chen Zhou should be here soon. Do you want her to see you looking so ungraceful?"

Not to mention the central building, the entire solar system is under the monitoring of Xiling. The station, which was specially built for the insect bridge, is suspended at the Lagrange point. From there, you can instantly reach any location in the solar system!
The reason it wasn't placed on Earth was to avoid the sight of the Sophon; the vast deep space is a mysterious place that even the Sophon cannot detect!

Therefore, Jiang Fan's words had no effect on Xi Ling, because she knew that Chen Zhou was still outside the building and was flying over in his aircraft.

The two jade-like lotus roots intertwined and hugged the man's arm, speaking with extreme intimacy.
“It will take another six minutes and thirty-four seconds for the sunken boat to reach the office door. I have plenty of time to restore it to its original state.”

Jiang Fan dared not meet Xi Ling's gaze at this moment, and could only glance at her out of the corner of his eye. He estimated that his arm was already 'trapped' more than 6 centimeters above the ground and was about to be submerged.
She looks so thin, how did she get such a large size? The man was momentarily lost in thought.

It wasn't until Xiling swayed from side to side that the intense friction startled him awake. Xiling pouted unhappily and said...

"I can even space out while being with a goddess, I'm truly impressed~"

Jiang Fan spoke without thinking.

"I wasn't spacing out; I was thinking about how you managed to grow so big..."

He stopped abruptly halfway through his sentence, immediately shutting up and swallowing the words that were about to spill out.

Xiling leaned against him and asked,
"Grow up? What's wrong with me?"

A cunning glint flashed in her beautiful eyes. She wasn't a newly born artificial intelligence, but a fully-fledged data life form that had absorbed all information about human society. If she wanted to, she could see through all secrets.

Jiang Fan took a deep breath.
"It's nothing, don't overthink it. I was just thinking about the future of humanity, like hyper-evolution or something, right?"

Xiling smiled and said,

"Really? Mega evolution? Evolved in what way?"

Jiang Fan shifted his position slightly to the side, trying to salvage his arm and prevent it from drowning.

"No, no, no, I think we can just read about super evolution in comics; we don't need to."

Xiling's body tilted at an angle due to Jiang Fan's movement, making the sense of oppression even stronger.
