Hogwarts: Becoming the White Lord from Breathing

Chapter 47: Professor Quirrell is good, Snape is bad

Chapter 47: Professor Quirrell is good, Snape is bad
The Quidditch match that Harry had been eagerly awaiting began.

Ron and Hermione were even more nervous than he was - they were too afraid of another accident happening in this competition.

Hermione hadn't even checked the new issue of the Daily Prophet, so she hadn't noticed the rare headline that took up three main pages.

[Gamp's law of transformation will be broken? Who is the one who did this?!]

At the same time, the new issue of "Transfiguration Today" also uses the most important page to introduce that Transfiguration is about to usher in a subversive innovation, in the next issue of the magazine!
Just a warm-up has already perked up all the wizards who saw the report. The ones who are more deeply involved in the field of transformation pay more attention to this and understand how significant its significance is.

They have even begun to use their connections or their own energy to investigate this matter in advance - Today's Transfiguration is a rigorous academic journal, and it is not without reason that it would publish such a statement.

As for the Daily Prophet? Although it was the mouthpiece of the Ministry of Magic and often published some entertainment gossip that was not well-documented or even completely fabricated, when it came to fundamental theorems like Gamp's Law of Transfiguration, they definitely knew what was important.

In the end, the results of their investigation all led to the same name - Dumbledore.

This name with strange magic brought all attempts to an abrupt halt. Instead, they began to look forward to what bombshell the next issue of Today's Transfiguration would reveal.

And they probably would never have imagined that the person who caused all this was still in the first year of magic school.

The students in the magic academy were not aware of what was happening - most of their attention was now focused on the Quidditch match that was about to begin.

What made Harry happy was that Professor Dumbledore also came this time, which made him feel relieved - with Dumbledore around, Professor Quirrell would definitely not dare to attack him again.

Reassured, Harry, who was already full of fighting spirit, put in an amazing performance - he caught the Golden Snitch in just three minutes and ended the Quidditch game that had just started with a bullet dive.

The whole audience was cheering Harry's name. Harry looked at Professor Quirrell and found that he was still as timid and cowering as before. He seemed not to be moved by the wonderful game at all. It was hard to imagine that such a person had cast a spell on him before. What was his purpose?
Then Harry felt a hand on his shoulder.

"Well done," Dumbledore said softly, so that only Harry could hear. "I'm glad to see that you haven't lost your life because of that mirror. It seems that Damon was right. A good goal can make people positive and motivated."

Harry nodded happily. He looked around the field and saw from a distance that Snape spat on the ground angrily and Damon waved at him from a distance. At the request of several people, Damon came to watch the game again.

An hour later, Harry left the dressing room alone to return his Nimbus 2000 to the broom shed.

He was in a happier mood than ever.

He finally did something to be truly proud of—no one would ever again say he was just a famous name, and—he also helped Damon win back the 150 points he had lost!
Even though the gap to Gryffindor was now more than 150 points, Harry still felt very satisfied.

He had never felt the night air so sweet as it did now.

But then his heart sank again - he saw Professor Snape sneaking straight towards the Forbidden Forest, obviously not wanting to be seen by others.

What does he want to do?
Harry decisively jumped back onto his broom, took off, and followed all the way, finally landing quietly on a towering beech tree and finding Snape and - Professor Quirrell?!

".I don't know why you would choose to meet here, Severus."

"Oh, I don't think it's appropriate to keep this private," said Snape, his voice cold. "After all, students aren't supposed to know about the Philosopher's Stone."

"Have you figured out how to subdue that monster of Hagrid's?"

"B-but-but, Severus, I--" "You don't want me to be your enemy, Quirrell," said Snape, taking a step toward him.

"I—I don't—know that you—"

"You know exactly what I mean."

An owl hooted loudly, and Harry nearly fell out of the tree. He caught himself just in time to hear Snape say, "Your secret little trick. I'll be waiting."

"B-but, I don't--no--"

"Very well," Snape interrupted. "We will discuss this again shortly, once you have had time to think it over and decide who you will serve."

Harry didn't know how he got back to the common room. He was almost in a trance. Wasn't Professor Snape innocent? Why was he threatening Professor Quirrell? Or did they both want the Philosopher's Stone?
Hermione and Ron were still immersed in the joy of their Quidditch victory. Seeing Harry cheering happily, he was completely out of mood.

"Never mind that," Harry gasped, "I have something important to tell you!"

He looked at Damon who was reading a newspaper and told the three of them what he had overheard.

"Oh my God! So, Professor Snape is not innocent, he is the real culprit?"

"He really doesn't seem like a good person! He's been looking at Harry strangely lately. Is it possible that it was Snape who cast a spell on Harry during Quidditch, and Professor Quirrell was protecting Harry?"

Harry and Hermione both agreed with Ron's bold hypothesis, but Damon had a strange smile on his face.

Snape framed Harry, and Professor Quirrell cast a spell to protect him?

Wouldn't this be too funny.

"Damon, what are you laughing at? You must have been deceived by Professor Snape!"

Hermione noticed his smile and was very confused. Harry and Ron also turned their heads when they heard this.

Damon nodded and said:

"You're right. Snape threatened Professor Quirrell. Quirrell is good, and Professor Snape is bad!"

The three of them felt that Damon was a little strange at this time, but they were confused and continued:
"We should remind Headmaster Dumbledore to take good care of the Philosopher's Stone."

"Don't worry, the adults will definitely handle this better than us." Damon stood up and said goodbye, "I have something else to do, you guys go ahead."

Damon walked out of the hall and, while no one was around, cast an invisibility spell on himself.

Then, he walked calmly towards the room in the corridor on the fourth floor.

He had confirmed in advance that Dumbledore had left after watching the Quidditch match, and now he could come and go freely in Hogwarts.
