Chapter 173 Seven Horcruxes
The Gryffindor party lasted all night.

Everyone was in their pajamas, participating in one celebration after another. Professor McGonagall transformed into a tabby cat and quietly sat in the corner—in this joyous moment, the students made themselves forget the professor's presence.

Professor McGonagall indeed made no attempt to stop their extreme behavior.

The twins come up with a series of new pranks, selecting excited lucky people from the crowd as test subjects, causing quite a few laughs, but in the end the farces always end after Damon waves his wand, and don't get too out of hand.

Justin Finley, led by Seamus, entered the common room, grasped Harry's hand, and sincerely apologized—he hadn't found a good opportunity to apologize to Harry about Parseltongue.

Hagrid appeared at 3:30 a.m., slapping Damon hard on the shoulder, making Damon's eyes roll back.

The festivities had an impact on everyone in Gryffindor, and even the final exams didn't dampen their enthusiasm.

Before he knew it, Damon's second-year semester had officially come to an end.

They took the Hogwarts Express home again, but the compartment, which was only meant for six people, was packed with ten.

Ron, Hermione, Harry, Ginny, Luna, Cho Chang, Fred, George, Neville, and a group of others squeezed into a carriage with him.

Damon watched them light Fred and George's last few hard-to-pull fireworks and practice disarming each other with magic.

Then everyone was surprised to find that among them, Harry and Ron had performed the best – Harry and the others were not as strange as they seemed, but Ron's performance shocked everyone.

"Little Ronnie—you've really grown up! I can't believe you've achieved so much without making a sound!"

“It seems like it’s not just us who are getting better—Ronnie is catching up too.”

Ginny didn't say anything, but her sparkling eyes would glance at Harry one moment and then shyly at Ron the next—for Ron, that was the best recognition.

"Please, if you really admire me, can you start by changing that way of addressing me?"

"Oh—of course—you can't call me Little Ronnie anymore."

"Ron Weasley—the new savior!"

The twins let out exaggerated screams, amusing everyone in the carriage.

Harry laughed along, not minding at all that Ron had stolen his thunder. He quietly turned to look at Cho Chang beside him, who was also laughing, but with her head turned as well—she was looking at Damon.

Harry felt a strange mix of emotions—a sudden surge of jealousy, almost to the point of screaming, welled up inside him.

But the next moment he became alert, took a deep breath, and activated his Occlumency technique, which he was still learning—both Dumbledore and Damon were concerned about him, this ordinary savior, and he couldn't let them down!
The jealous thought I had just had must have been caused by Voldemort's soul!

I will tell him who the true owner of this body is!

"What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"

Cho Chang noticed Harry's unusual behavior and asked him with concern.

Ginny, who had been peeking at Harry, suddenly turned her head and saw Harry, his face flushed, responding to Cho Chang:

"No—it's nothing. I'm probably just too happy, so I'm a little short of breath."

"Really? You use your spells very well."

Hey—hehe—

Seeing Harry grinning foolishly, Ginny turned her head away again and pouted.

"Like an idiot."

Damon's summer vacation was fairly fulfilling. Originally, this summer was supposed to be about focusing on Caliban Mortos's identity and wreaking havoc on the dark magic world for three months.

But since his identity as Caliban was no longer usable, his plan fell through—he should have had nothing to do next.

But then something went wrong with the Horcruxes.

He has already accessed his memories through the Pensieve and recalled the seven Horcruxes and their specific locations.

Of the seven Horcruxes, excluding the tiara and diary that he has already destroyed, there is still the cup, the ring, the locket, Nagini, and Harry.

The easiest thing to find was Gaunt's ring, but when Damon went to Gaunt's old house, it had obviously been explored. Gaunt's ring, which should have been found by Dumbledore, was nowhere to be found. This gave Damon a great sense of crisis and was the reason why he couldn't have a leisurely summer vacation.

The locket was kept in Voldemort's childhood cave, but that locket was fake. The real Horcrux was obtained by Sirius Black, Sirius's brother, and should now be in the hands of the house-elf Kreacher.

Although Damon was somewhat interested in Voldemort's spell that required drinking all the liquid inside to obtain the contents—after all, it was something even Dumbledore couldn't unravel.

But the thought of going to the place where Voldemort spent his childhood and entering a dark cave made him somewhat resistant, and he lost interest.

Although Old Deng talks about retiring all the time, he probably doesn't have any intention of dying yet, and he wouldn't risk his health to search for that fake Horcrux—at the very least, he'd want to take himself with him.

Damon had repeatedly warned him that now that he had found the Horcrux, he must notify him immediately, and Dumbledore should not act recklessly. If even that couldn't stop him from courting disaster, then there was nothing Damon could do.

Since the locket is currently safely at number 12 Grimmauld Place, Sirius Black's ancestral home, we'll postpone it for now—that place is protected by a spell, and neither Voldemort nor he can find it.

Perfect timing! Sirius's storyline will start in third grade. I'll just tell Sirius when I get involved in the story.

The remaining golden cup is hidden in Gringotts, and its owner is Bella Trix, a Death Eater currently serving time in Azkaban.

Damon infiltrated Gringotts the moment he discovered Gaunt's ring was missing. After some effort, he found the Golden Cup and destroyed it. He then used Transfiguration to create a replica.

In this way, only Nagini, Harry, and the ring remain of the seven Horcruxes.

Harry's situation is a bit tricky; Voldemort needs to be reborn using his blood, so this summer, Damon hopes to figure out Voldemort's current state.

So he embarked on a transnational trip—going alone to the forests of Albania to see what was really going on there.

As an underage wizard, and a renowned master of Transfiguration at that, it was impossible for him to leave the country through normal channels, because he had no way to explain the reason to the officials of the Ministry of Magic.

Then the only option is to smuggle oneself across the border.

Logically speaking, using a key would be a better option, but Damon didn't trust those people's teleportation methods. After thinking it over, he decided that this matter wasn't urgent, so he resorted to a somewhat reckless method.

He flew over using his magic broom.

First, use a magic map to indicate the general direction, then start directly from the orphanage and fly all the way using a superior illusion spell that can ignore magical sensing barriers.

When hungry, thirsty, or tired, they rest; they fly wherever they want.

It's a bit like a bike trip from a past life, but much more relaxed and enjoyable.

Looking down from the air, the British landscape, which he hadn't really seen before, gave Damon a great sense of novelty.

He flew along, stopping frequently to catch glimpses of scenery that interested him—it took him almost five days to finally reach the forests of Albania.

This forest is cold and decaying, and even in the height of summer, it exudes a sinister atmosphere.

There was no sound inside; it was deathly silent.
