Pokémon: Who let him leave Pallet Town?

Chapter 464 Cattleya, the Telekinetic Power Bearing Shackles
"Okay, if there's no one readily available."
Natsume sighed helplessly, even pulling a brand-new introductory programming book from his backpack and waving it half-jokingly, "So, can anyone teach themselves to be a programmer in half an hour?"
This dry joke, intended to ease the tension, was like a pebble thrown into an ice cave—it didn't even create a ripple.
The cabin was deathly silent.
Almost everyone's face was instantly covered by a deeper, more desperate gray, and even the last bit of composure they had managed to maintain disappeared.
“Actually,” Natsume’s voice broke the suffocating silence again, “I have a second idea.”
The moment the words fell, it was as if a faint candle flame had been suddenly lit in the darkness.
Everyone suddenly looked up, and countless eyes instantly focused on Natsume, those eyes burning with an almost greedy hope, like a drowning person grabbing onto a piece of driftwood.
"Excuse me," Natsume asked, his gaze sweeping across the crowd with the same hopeful look, his voice clear and quick, "has anyone brought a small Psychic-type Pokémon that complies with aviation regulations onto the plane? Like Ralts or Natu?"
He knew that his life doll could be switched, but even if it were switched back, the faint psychic power remaining in the air would be absolutely insufficient to stop the behemoth's devastating descent.
However, if there are enough Psychic-type Pokémon, and Natsume can absorb enough psychic energy, the plane crash might not be prevented, but it should be possible to create a life-saving psychic barrier for everyone.
"Psychic-type Pokémon?"
The passengers looked at each other, their eyes filled with confusion and shaking their heads.
After a brief commotion, a deeper silence followed, with no one answering.
"Then, what about those with esper abilities?" Natsume pressed on, his gaze sweeping across the crowd. "Anyone with telekinesis or other supernatural abilities? Please step forward!"
The only sounds in the cabin were the roar of the engines and suppressed breathing.
Silent for a long time.
“Alright,” Natsume took a deep breath, his tone calm and resigned, “I have a satellite phone. If you want to say goodbye to your family, come and line up.”
The limit of what he could do was to switch places with the baby, save his own life, and try to teleport away a few people.
However, at its current level, the doll is no match for the immense kinetic energy of the aircraft, and what it can save is merely a drop in the ocean.
Suddenly, an idea flashed through his mind, and he turned around and quickly walked to his seat.
Caldelia remained asleep, her hat brim tilted slightly, her golden hair lying softly against her cheeks, as if she were isolated from the world.
“Miss Cattleya,” Natsume said this time without hesitation, his voice steady and clear in her ear, “Please wake up.”
"Well"
A soft hum, heavy with sleepiness, like a dream.
Cattleya's long eyelashes trembled a few times, and she slowly opened her crystal-clear eyes.
She seemed a little confused. First, she subconsciously and with good manners straightened the brim of her slightly tilted wide-brimmed hat, her movements elegant and natural.
She looked at Natsume with sleepy eyes, her gaze carrying a hint of confusion at being disturbed from her sweet dreams and an innate politeness.
"Sir?" Her voice was slightly hoarse from just waking up, but still gentle and soft. "Excuse me, is there anything I can help you with?"
That composed and unhurried air of a young lady remained unchanged even when she was first awakened.
"It's nothing," Natsume said, speaking a little quickly.
"I just wanted to tell you that we've been hijacked and we might be dying soon." "What?"
Beneath the brim of the hat, those beautiful eyes widened instantly, sleepiness receding like a tide, replaced by extreme shock.
She stared at Natsume with her mouth slightly agape, a hint of natural, almost bewildered astonishment in her eyes, as if she needed a moment to process this bolt from the blue.
However, this shock lasted for less than three seconds.
Cattleya quickly stood up, her gentle sleepiness and natural cuteness vanishing instantly like morning mist.
She was incredibly decisive, not even glancing at Natsume again, as if he were just an ordinary passenger who had delivered bad news, rather than the key to solving the problem.
Her gaze, sharp as a hawk's, swept past Natsume and precisely locked onto the group of distraught crew members in the direction of the cockpit.
"Excuse me." The polite whisper seemed to be spoken to the air. With steady steps and an unquestionable determination, she bypassed Natsume and headed directly towards the captain's location.
"Is manual intervention completely impossible?"
She walked over to the captain, who was slumped on the ground, her voice flat and calm, as if she were asking about the weather. Her sharp gaze swept over the control panel, which had been violently damaged and was now sparking.
"It was...it was completely destroyed."
The gray-haired captain painfully closed his eyes, slid down the control panel to sit on the cold floor, covered his face weakly with his hands, and trembled slightly on his shoulders.
Cattleya's gaze drifted out of the porthole.
Outside the window, the bustling coastline of the Unova region is almost within reach.
Below was no longer a vast plain, but a dense cluster of skyscrapers, like a steel forest, with spiderweb-like roads bustling with traffic and glass curtain walls reflecting the blinding sunlight.
Feiyun City—this massive megacity—is rapidly expanding in our field of vision at a breathtaking pace.
"Oh my god! I see the sea! It's Feiyun Port!" A passenger near the porthole screamed in agony, his finger trembling as he pointed out the ever-approaching, dangerously gleaming blue sea.
"Bridge! Feiyun Bridge! Right in front of us!!!" Another passenger by the window had a completely distorted voice, filled with the fear of impending death.
He pointed intently at the horizon—a magnificent cross-sea bridge spanning the vast bay, resembling a steel behemoth, its cold, massive outline clearly visible.
The massive steel frame gleamed coldly in the morning sun, like a scythe laid out for death.
"It's too late! It's completely too late!!" Someone collapsed to the ground in despair, sobbing uncontrollably.
"I don't want to die! Save us!" Desperate cries and pleas swept through the cabin like a tsunami, completely drowning out the last shred of reason.
Caldelia stood at the eye of the storm, her slender fingers trembling almost imperceptibly.
She stared at the approaching silhouette of death outside the window, her delicate face drained of all color, turning deathly pale.
Yet, amidst this extreme fear, her gaze grew ever calmer, like a bottomless, icy pool.
The next second, an indescribable, pure and powerful icy blue aura, like a deep-sea cold current, silently rippled out from around Cattleya.
The light carried a chilling aura, yet it contained unimaginable power.
"Ok?"
A look of understanding and intense interest flashed in Natsume's eyes. He keenly sensed the essence of this power—telekinesis.
Moreover, it is a telekinetic power at the level of the underworld, yet it is deeply bound by some kind of shackle.
