Pokémon: Who let him leave Pallet Town?

Chapter 365 Lost in the Snowy Mountain

Chapter 365 Lost in the Snowy Mountain

At the foot of the snow-capped mountain, a group of people are checking their equipment.

"My God, those cracks formed by the cliffs actually extend all the way to this snow-capped mountain!"

Xiaoxia stared in astonishment at the huge ice and snow crack not far away.

The surrounding snowdrifts melted, accumulating and mixing with the soil to form slippery frozen clods.

"Be careful, it's dangerous over there," Xiao Gang warned.

As they were talking, a large tree growing on the edge of the cliff, as the snow melted and the soil beneath it loosened, finally lost its roots and crashed into the precipice with a loud thud.

A good ten seconds later, everyone heard a loud bang.

"It's so dangerous! The road into the snow-capped mountains is right next to these cliffs."

Xiaoxia glanced nervously at the road not far away.

The snow on the road melted and then condensed into ice, making it very difficult to pass.

"And why not put up a fence? I heard there's a temporary Pokémon Center halfway up the mountain."

As everyone stepped onto the road, Jiaozi couldn't help but frown.

"This is where some special herbs are produced," Natsume said, pointing casually to the nearby ravine.
“Every year, there are teams that come to collect herbs, bringing Pokémon that can carry people. This road is actually not very useful.”

Even the Pokémon Center halfway up the mountain mostly serves as a resting place for herb-gathering teams during specific periods each year.

"Oh, I see. Do herbs still grow in such a cold place?" Ash looked curiously at the cliff not far away.

"Compared to snow-capped mountains, these cliffs and ravines are much more suitable for survival, and they also have the most Ice-type Pokémon."

Natsume said casually.

"Really!" Ash's eyes lit up, and he grabbed Pikachu, ready to jump off the cliff.

"Hey, hey, hey, don't do anything stupid!" Xiaoxia's eyelids twitched.

"What do you mean by doing something silly? There are lots of Ice-type Pokémon down here, perfect for my special training. Don't you think Pikachu wants to go too?" Ash rubbed his nose.

"Pikachu Pikachu Pikachu." Pikachu shook his head frantically.

"Pikachu."

Behind Ash, the middle-parted hair that had been maintaining the ice crystallization slowly climbed up.

On its back, it carries a small basket.

The basket contained some ice-blue mushrooms.

"Huh? You can pick Lost Mushrooms here?" Xiao Gang exclaimed in surprise.

They asked Granny Xima for the location where the Lost Mushrooms were distributed on the snow mountain, but there was no record of them in these cliffs.

“That’s strange. Didn’t Grandma Sima say that the Lost Mushrooms were planted by the Frozen Bird to guide lost people, and that they only grow on snowy mountains?”

Jiaozi picked up a mushroom with a puzzled look, examined it curiously for a moment, and then handed it to Natsume.

"First of all, what Granny Sima said is just a legend."

"Secondly, even if the legend is true, some Pokémon might discover the deliciousness of Lost Mushroom, bring it to the bottom of the valley, and slowly it would multiply."

Upon hearing this, Xiao Gang was overjoyed.

"Since we can pick Lost Mushrooms here, I'll go down with Ash."

Xiao Gang turned around, only to find that Xiao Zhi had already disappeared.

A dozen seconds later, a loud thud echoed from inside the cliff.

"Let's go to the Pokémon Center halfway up the mountain first."

Natsume glanced around and found that there were indeed stray mushrooms scattered at the bottom of the cliff, but not nearly as many as the markings given by Granny Sima.

Soon, the three arrived at the outside of a wooden house covered in ice and snow.

Steam rose from the chimney of the wooden house, and snow continued to fall from the nearby trees.

Before they could even push open the door, the cabin door opened first, and Joey appeared carrying a bucket.

"Huh?" Joey was taken aback.

“We are trainers who are just passing by.” Natsume handed over his Pokédex.

Joey glanced at it briefly, then let the three of them go in, while he hurriedly took the bucket and headed towards the chosen snowfield.

"What is she doing?" Xiaoxia looked at Joey's departing figure with a puzzled expression. She seemed to be looking for soft snow to put into a bucket.

The cabin wasn't large; the living room was right inside the entrance, and the fireplace was burning brightly with plenty of firewood, sending a wave of heat through the room.

“Very warm”

The ice on the soles of his shoes began to melt. Natsume sat on the sofa and took off his heavy down jacket. "Pikachu."

The ice crystals on its middle-parted hair dissipated, and it went to the fireplace, ready to find a comfortable spot for a long nap.

The next second, all four of its legs were off the ground.

"Pikachu?" The man with the middle parting looked at Natsume with a puzzled expression, as the other began to list them off in great detail:
"You ate 46 Lost Mushrooms and three Golden Grasses."

Natsume listed all the buffet meals that the guy with the middle part had eaten at Liu Bo's refrigerator.

In the end, a blueprint was slapped into the arms of the man with the middle parting.

"This is a map of plant resources in the Lost Snow Mountain that Grandma Xima gave us. You can find as many as you've eaten."

As Natsume spoke, he carried the small basket on the back of the man with the middle parting.

"Pikachu."

His middle-parted hair looked visibly tired and listless.

Its dark, shiny eyes darted around, glancing at the Poké Ball on Natsume's waist.

"Pickup pickup?"

"Do you think it's possible to bring a few helpers?" Natsume was taken aback.

"Sizzle~" A flash of red light appeared at Natsume's waist, and a Zapdos with an eggshell on its head appeared.

"Cannes!"

Zapdos spread its wings, not looking directly at the parted-headed creature, but instead holding its head high and glancing into the distance.

"What are you doing?" Natsume sensed telepathically.

"Cannes, Cannes." Wait for it to beg me.

"."

“It looks like only Zapdos wants to go.” Natsume pointed at Zapdos, ignoring the rivalry between the two little ones.

Soon, after the man with the middle parting mumbled something to Zapdos, the other party actually became interested.

Cannes!

Then I'll have to do it!

Just as Natsume was about to receive another basket, Zapdos and the guy with the middle parting stepped out of the hut.

"Is it alright to let them go out alone?" Jiaozi asked with some concern.

"Yeah, yeah, even if there are no bad people in the snow mountain, you might still encounter some Pokémon with mean personalities who bully you," Xiaoxia said, her voice growing softer and softer.

With a middle parting, it seems like he's already being kind enough not to bully wild Pokémon.

"Rakiraki?"

In the room on the left, a lucky egg popped its head out.

It paused for a moment when it saw the trio.

"Joey went to get snow. By the way, what do you need this for?" Natsume understood what the Lucky Egg meant and curiously looked into the room.

Lucky Egg didn't hide anything and just let him into the room.

The room was far from the fireplace, and a chill hit you the moment you stepped in.

The moment Natsume entered the room, his gaze was fixed on the carpet in the center of the room.

"Musashi, Kojiro, meow meow?"

"Why are they here?"

Behind them, Xiaoxia and Jiaozi's voices rang out at the same time.

"Excuse me, everyone."

Joey came in carrying a large bucket of snow.

The trio were stripped down to their underwear. Their faces were flushed, their eyes were closed, and they lay silently on the wet ground.

"Lucky Egg, please."

Joey handed a bucket of snow to Lucky Egg.

The latter took it, sprinkled the snow on the trio, and began to rub it on.

When you rub it, a lot of heat rises up, and the skin that has been rubbed becomes red.
