Chapter 361 Hair in Amber
After filling Ash's backpack with a whole backpack full of his secret-recipe snacks using banana leaves, Lugia's mother tearfully bid farewell to everyone.

On the speedboat, Xiao Zhi looked at the secret-recipe snacks in his backpack with a worried expression.

He's been thoroughly marinated, and everyone keeps their distance.

"Everyone, what should I do?" Xiao Zhi asked for help.

"If it really doesn't work, you can just throw it up." Xiaoxia covered her nose.

"But...isn't that inappropriate?"

As Xiao Zhi spoke, he grabbed the sleeping man with the middle part and unexpectedly fed him a bite.

"Pikachu."

The man with the middle-parted hair was frowning, as if he was starting to have a nightmare.

"Pikachu."

Pikachu looked up at the sky and unconsciously hid behind Misty.

"You can sell it to the research institute."

Natsume spoke up.

"Research Institute?" Xiao Zhi was taken aback.

"What research institute would want something like this?" Xiao Zhi asked curiously.

"There's plenty of information, but this was made by Lugia's mother herself. She knows very little about legendary Pokémon, such as their diet, breeding, and habitat."

"Your thing still has some research value."

Natsume drove the speedboat ahead without turning his head.

"That's it"

Back on the island, Ash ran straight to the nearest research lab.

Natsume then drove the speedboat to the boat rental shop.

"Mr. Natsume, why is there graffiti on our speedboat?"

“Isn’t it beautiful?” Natsume waved his hand.

"Then why was the style upgraded from A18 to this year's latest model?"

"The ship has grown bigger."

Natsume retrieved his Alliance ID and then went to a boat rental company.

At the Pokémon Center, everyone gathered.

At the dining table, Xiao Zhi ate the most ordinary dine-in set meal while crying.

"Wow, this is so delicious!" Ash exclaimed, tears streaming down his face.

People around him turned their heads and noticed Xiao Zhi's tattered clothes and the strange smell emanating from him, all of which seemed a bit odd.

"Xiao Zhi, stop howling, or people will think we're abusing you," Xiao Xia whispered.

"It would be better to be abused."

Xiao Zhi chewed heartily.

"Alright, hurry up and eat, our ship will set sail after we finish eating."

Natsume drank his milk and spoke slowly.

"So fast! There are so many beaches and islands here!" Xiaoxia rubbed her head regretfully.

"Oh my, it seems there's a tournament here specifically for Water-type Pokémon."

Ash stuffed his mouth full of food and whimpered.

"Mr. Natsume, is our next destination the Kaji Gym?"

Jiaozi suddenly spoke up and asked a question.

"Yes, the gym leader there, Uncle Liu, was the previous Ice-type Elite Four member."

"Natsume-nii, let's set off now!"

Upon hearing the words "Elite Four," Ash immediately forgot all about the Whirl Islands Tournament.

Soon, led by Natsume, the group boarded the ship.

On the deck, Xiao Zhi stood awkwardly outside in the wind.

He was in such a rush that he didn't even have time to take a shower.

After thinking for a moment, Xiao Zhi dropped the ball.

"Little Sawkward, use your water gun on me!"

"Vani vani! Vani!"

The little totodile appeared, stood still for a moment, its nose twitched, and finally sniffed at Ash.

"Vani."

The little alligator scurried back to its room.

"Vani!"

When it reappeared, it handed Ash a pack of tissues.

"Hahahaha!"

When everyone arrived, they witnessed this scene, and Xiaoxia couldn't stop smiling.

"What are you laughing at!" Xiao Zhi glared angrily.

"Please, Little Sawktosh, use your water gun on me!"

Xiao Zhi pleaded.

"Vani."

The little saw-alligator shook its head in embarrassment.

Serious Pokémon don't have the habit of giving answers.

Even trainers won't do. "Private First Class!"

Natsume walked over.

"Vani!" The little saw-alligator immediately stood at attention.

In Natsume's hand was a small basket, with a lifeless Pikachu and a sleeping man with a middle part tied to it.

"Soldier, pick up your equipment!" Natsume looked at the little saw-alligator seriously.

"Vani!"

The little saw-alligator nodded emphatically, picked up its small basket, and fastened the buckle around its waist.

Natsume placed his homemade electric-absorbing helmet on the little saw-allergy's head.

"It looks quite professional, very good!"

Golden telekinesis coalesced into a fishing rod, and the fishing line became entangled in the small alligator.

With a sudden flick, the deep-sea torpedo was launched.

"What are you doing?"

Ash curiously went over to investigate.

"There's a fishing competition on the boat. It's a long journey, so it's just for entertainment," Xiao Gang explained.

"Boom!"

A powerful burst of lightning shot into the sky, and a large number of Water-type Pokémon floated on the surface of the water, their eyes gleaming white.

"Whoosh whoosh!"

Dozens of red and white balls were thrown out, catching all the Pokémon inside.

"40 balls! I should be number one today. Here's the prize." Natsume approached the person in charge with a basket of red and white balls.

"Mr. Natsume, you have been disqualified."

"Why?"

What do you think?

The person in charge glanced silently at the little saw-toothed crocodile carrying a basket behind Natsume.

"Can Pokémon participate in the competition?" Natsume suddenly asked.

"Yes, that's fine." The person in charge nodded politely.

Natsume thought for a moment, then took out a mini fishing rod and handed it to the little saw-alligator.

"Vani?" The little tortoise took it blankly.

Soon after, a large group of red and white balls arrived, engulfing it.

"As you just saw, these were all caught by this little alligator."

Natsume pointed to the little saw-toothed crocodile.

"In principle, only one Pokémon can participate," the person in charge said with a troubled look at the two Pikachu in the basket.

“They’re used as bait,” Natsume said seriously.

"."

"Mr. Natsume, this is your prize."

"Natsume-nii, what's in here? It's rare to see you so interested."

Ash curiously approached, glancing at the small box in Natsume's hand.

Natsume opened the box, and inside was a piece of amber, about the size of a palm.

The amber is dark in color and looks quite old.

The front features a scaled-down map of the Whirlpool Islands, while the back simply displays the word "Peace".

"Is this a souvenir?" Everyone looked at Natsume in surprise.

Surprisingly, Natsume was interested in a souvenir.

"No."

Natsume shook his head, his gaze fixed on the inside of the amber.

This piece of amber contains a single hair.

Long, fiery red fur.

When placed under the sun, you can see that this hair absorbs the light, as if it has turned into a dancing flame.

Natsume knows about almost all Pokémon, even the legendary Pokémon species.

But this hair was something he had never seen before.

The hair in the amber was Mewtwo's way of reminding him that he absolutely had to get it.

It was because the other person felt a gene they had never felt before on that single hair.

Just like the first time I saw someone with a middle parting.

"Are you sure this hair comes from a Pokémon you've never seen before?"

Natsume became interested.

Is there any other Pokémon in the world with similar center-parted hair, newly acquired, and receiving a divine title for the first time?
"Yes." Mewtwo's voice was somewhat heavy.

"I can't interpret it; it's too profound."

Mewtwo's voice trembled slightly.

It uses telekinesis to probe into the hair, trying to figure out the differences.

But upon first contact, Mewtwo felt as if it were facing a colossal, inanimate being.

Its majestic and radiant presence is so overwhelming that it is impossible to look directly at it or even to peer into its depths.
