Chapter 69 Remarks on the launch
('-'*ゞ

I received a notification from the editor that it will be available for purchase tomorrow.

—The chapters will be available for purchase at 12 noon tomorrow, so the 7 a.m. update will be delayed.

First of all, I would like to thank all the readers who have followed the book all the way, and thank you all my friends in the martial arts world!

(Thanks to the following moves: a triple spin in place, a powerful stone-breaking kick, and a kneeling fist salute!)
(Action Director: Lü Fengxian)
The author, having drifted through half a lifetime, is fortunate to have received your help, your companionship day and night, your earnest advice, your monthly votes, your efforts to catch and correct errors, your comments, and even generous rewards to the Alliance Leader.
That's why the new book has achieved such success.

During the new book launch period, a large number of old friends from Hengshan flocked to the site, along with newcomers from the martial arts world and former veterans of the alliance.

Today, the hall is filled with distinguished guests and more than ten thousand heroes. Ladies and gentlemen, according to the rules of the martial arts world, Su Ye will first offer you three bowls of wine.

(Action: Holding a bowl, head tilted back, Adam's apple bobbing, clothes soaked with sweat, displaying a bold and unrestrained spirit!)
—————————(Tail of the dividing line)
Let me tell you a little anecdote about this book.

Some readers may remember that when the book was first announced, it was to be released in early March, but the release date was changed to March 10th.

There's an unexpected situation here.

I deleted "Swords from the Tang Dynasty" once.

The 1.0 beta test failed, and what you are seeing now is the brand new 2.0 version.

Actually, it was while I was writing that I suddenly realized, "Is this flavor right?"
The Tang Dynasty has two major sections: "Jianghu" (江湖, the martial arts world) and "Zhengba" (争霸, a struggle for supremacy).

The 1.0 version, which hasn't been released yet, has a stronger sense of competition and a weaker sense of martial arts.

This 2.0 version focuses on the martial arts world, with less emphasis on power struggles.

When I was writing version 1.0 that day, I suddenly abandoned the draft and rewrote version 2.0 for my editor, Qilin.

Qilin (with a cool and aloof expression): "Okay, let's use this brand new version."

So the deal was struck immediately.
Writing fan fiction is an essential way to make up for regrets.

However, please don't treat it as a historical text.

Because the city wall is thirty or forty feet high, I really don't know how to attack it.

The original novel of Twin Dragons of the Tang Dynasty is extremely rich in content. When I was reading the original novel of The Smiling, Proud Wanderer, I had the support of various TV series and movies, so it felt very easy.

Before writing this book, I read through the original Tang Dynasty novel twice, which took me more than two months.

Preparations made before opening the book.

Character relationships, combat strength comparisons, connections to borderland legends, the Tang Dynasty, and so on.
The outline and detailed outline already contain nearly 400,000 words of notes.

I never imagined that a martial arts fanfiction would take so much effort (sweating emoji).
I even considered giving up halfway through because there were too many characters and I had to use a story to connect them, which made it easy to lose the main plot and cause the book to fall apart due to its loose structure.

After all, the original work features two main characters, the Twin Dragons, or perhaps the Two Phoenixes should be added, making it three main characters.

The three main characters each have their own storyline.

However, there can only be one protagonist in "Swords of the Tang Dynasty".

Master Zhou (clasping his hands in greeting): "That's right, it is I, the humble Taoist. Greetings to all my friends."

So, the phrase "both want and want" can easily confuse readers, leaving them feeling clueless.

For example, the route Zhou Tianshi took from Fuzi Mountain to Nanyang.

It's really not easy for readers to get through this, after all, it wasn't all that exciting, and there were also a lot of new characters coming in.

Furthermore, given its setting at the end of the Sui Dynasty and the eighteen rebel kings, it is quite difficult to read.

In the previous book, when I wrote about Hengshan, the Xiaoxiang Night Rain and Master Zuo were well-known figures, and such situations rarely occurred.

After listening to comments and suggestions from fellow readers, I have made many improvements, striving to reduce reading difficulties while staying true to the original text.

I would also like to thank the experts who provided scientific explanations in the book reviews.

The author is currently working on the concept.
The sword emerges from Hengshan like a rain that spreads from Xiaoxiang to the earth, a gentle and romantic scene of high mountains and flowing water, where poetry and books conceal the sword.

Sword Tang will be a thunderbolt in the chaotic world of martial arts, resounding throughout the land, stirring up storms and clouds, and full of romance amidst its grandeur.

Of course, the idea is good, but due to limitations in writing ability, the author can only do their best.

I hope to write a memorable story about the martial arts world.

……

PS: Here's a brief explanation for readers who aren't familiar with Huang Yi's worldview.

I saw someone say that they were not familiar with the characters in "Twin Dragons of the Tang Dynasty" and suddenly a master appeared, so they didn't know what level he was at.

In fact, martial arts novels don't need to be divided into such detailed categories. The realm of martial arts is one thing, but when it comes to fighting, the outcome of the fight is still uncertain.

Here's a simple way to remember it: Grandmaster, Non-Grandmaster (First-rate).

If the character is a grandmaster, the author will usually mention it.

If not, then they are most likely first-rate. The book also includes a category of innate masters.

However, after carefully reading the book, the author felt that innate qualities did not need to be separated. Master Huang cultivated three things: primordial spirit, primordial essence, and primordial energy. In short, essence, energy, and spirit.

There are two types of innate masters. One type is due to their cultivation method, which allows them to use innate true qi from the moment they appear (this type is very common).

Another method is not about returning to one's innate state through innate techniques.

For example, take the leader of the Tiele tribe, Flying Eagle Qu Ao. He is a grandmaster, but that's not the most extraordinary thing. The several martial arts techniques he created are all innate methods.

His disciple used the Nine Transformations of Condensed Truth, which he described in detail as innate true qi.

However, such a master with innate talent might not necessarily be able to defeat those top-tier masters who don't use their innate true energy.

In other words, "Innate qualities lie in subtlety, in the upper limit, and in different attributes."

They are special, but they may not necessarily be able to defeat those veteran, highly skilled martial arts masters.

In the original text, Wang Shichong commented on the He Shi Bi jade as follows:
"Nothing can stop its influence unless you are not a master who has cultivated superior innate true qi."

This also shows that innate true qi is not uncommon.

Hence the exaggerated saying that "the best are not even as good as dogs, and the best are just naturally born to walk on the ground."

The terms "pulse energy" and "energy aperture" written by the author are actually the original settings.

However, the original text is quite mysterious, so I have made some slight modifications and integrated it to make it clearer for readers.

Therefore, the twelve cardinal meridians were introduced, corresponding to the five elements.

It's not entirely made up. For example, in the original work, Grandma Dugu did indeed switch to cultivating the Twelve Classics at the age of sixty.

This also makes it easier to explain those mysterious cold qi (ice-cold energy), blazing yang true qi (blazing yang great technique), radiant yang blade technique (Yun Shuai), icy cold sword qi (Li Xiuning sword technique), etc.
For those unfamiliar with The Twin Dragons of the Tang Dynasty, recognizing these five top masters is sufficient:

"Song Que of the Heavenly Blade, Ning Daoqi of the Wanderer, Shi Zhixuan of the Evil King, Bi Xuan of the Martial Venerable, and Fu Cailin of the Yi Sword Master."

These five elders were the most powerful among the grandmasters of the Tang Dynasty.

There are also dozens of other grandmasters, some strong and some weak. If you check their battle records, you'll find that their strengths and weaknesses fluctuate.

This is perfectly reasonable in martial arts fiction, since you can't reveal your level.

……

That concludes the brief science lesson. Now let's talk about what happens after the product is released.

Updated to date: 8 chapters.

Further updates: The author will not slack off; just like the previous book, there will be 7000+ words per day, allowing readers to keep up with the content.

(PS: The minimum word count is 4,000 words, which is supposed to make me pay back the debts from my previous books. People in the book club are constantly bringing up my old grievances.jpg)

('-'*ゞBonus Chapter Plan: After the author adds a bonus chapter, I will deliver on the bonus content first, and then ask everyone for votes. This way, I will feel more at ease and will not renege on my promise.)

(P.S.: My post-release message is over 2,000 words long, can I count it as an extra chapter today? Please vote for me!)

(Here I would also like to thank my wonderful editor, Brother Qilin; my chief editor, Sister Winnie; Sister Huya, who was also in Group 3; and Brother Niqiu, who was with me for over six years but left the company, whom I will always love.)
(And to all my good friends who have been chatting in the book club group, my dear old operations manager, and all my respected and lovely book club and group members, thank you everyone.)
