Chapter 750 Meeting
Radiant City.

A city shrouded in a pale golden halo, like an inextinguishable sacred flame burning in the clouds.

It is also the prosperous capital of Aetheron.

The main road, paved with white starstone, runs through the entire city, its surface inlaid with golden runes that shimmer like flowing flames in the sunlight.

At the break of dawn.

The priests of the Ego Church, dressed in white and gold robes and carrying scepters inlaid with sun crystals, led the believers who filled the entire street in singing "Ode to Ego."

Under the canopy of crimson silk, whenever a procession of singers passed by, the merchants had to come out and kneel in worship.

In an inconspicuous building a little further away from the street.

Rosalia, the Tooth Fairy, leaned against the window and glanced coldly at the priest leading the group through the gap in the curtains.

She wore an elegant white wrap dress with orange trim, the small belt cinching her waist and perfectly accentuating her voluptuous breasts.

The hills sag slightly in accordance with gravity, gently pressing against the belt and adding to the beauty of the curves.

"Rosa."

The door clicked open.

A young lady dressed in a black robe and carrying a green longsword walked in.

The young lady had an indifferent expression, and her neck and cheeks were covered with many small, dark green scales.

—Eve, the leader of the Shadow Hunters.

"Commander Eve."

Eve looked at the woman by the window.

The morning sunlight shone on its delicate and elegant face, dancing through the insect membranes of its pointed ears all the way to the purplish-black exoskeleton skin on its neck.

He couldn't help but frown slightly:

"You can no longer use [Oborozuki]. Once you are completely transformed into an insect, you will completely lose yourself."

Rosalia squeezed her left hand, which had become completely insect-like, without caring.

She gave a cold laugh: "I have found out all the perpetrators of the Little Fairy tragedy back then. Apart from those who died of old age or illness, the rest have all joined the Ego Cult. And the mage Gaius Morgan who proposed the [Little Fairy Powder] back then is the newly appointed cardinal."

Eve pursed her lips.

Gaius Morgan, the chief mage of the Kingdom of Atheron, is an old human who has forcibly extended his lifespan by 350 years.

To this day, no one knows his method of prolonging his life.

He lied and claimed that he possessed some elven blood.

Everyone knows that.

Elven bloodlines often bring a certain degree of good looks, but this person was notoriously ugly; it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say he was a complete mess.

But it is undeniable.

Gaius Morgan is one of the most powerful mages in human history.

Rosalia made rapid progress during this period, advancing from the initial stage of the seventh rank to the middle stage of the seventh rank in just three months.

However, trying to deal with a high-ranking ninth-tier mage is a bit of a pipe dream.

"We need to think things through carefully; Rosa can't rush things."

Eve couldn't bring herself to tell her to give up; she could only try to calm her intense emotions.

"Don't worry, Captain Eve, I understand."

Rosalia slammed the curtains shut, completely blocking out the annoying Ego pilgrimage outside.

He revealed a calm and serene expression.

"I heard that meeting has started again?"

Eve nodded and smoothly changed the subject: "The Fifth Special Target Response Discussion Meeting was the largest of the five meetings, and almost all the ninth-tier members that Aetheron could name were invited."

"Special target."

Rosalia's mind conjured up the image of a tall, handsome forest ranger, and she also subconsciously recalled the ever-blooming dragon tooth flower in the room.

My thoughts always tend to connect in a line.

While drifting, it seemed as if I had returned to Quartz Town, where the person had immediately revealed his thoughts and given me the Dragon Tooth Flower on that street.

She recalled the warmth of being rescued and gently coaxed in the arms of that person after she was severely injured by the dark elves and entered the pupa state.

Then, back in Campbell's Maze, that guy tricked me into believing his essence had the ability to corrode domains, and I ended up hand-cannoning him two or three times in a row.
That hard, scorching, and shocking touch
Rosalia suddenly felt her face getting hot.

I forced myself to sit down and remain calm.

"Mr. Rhodes has a long-standing feud with the Ego Cult, and his recent record is truly appalling. This move by the Ego Cult..."

Eve sighed softly.

The last time we met in Quartz Town, Mr. Rhodes struggled against a level nine opponent.

How could he have managed to kill one and seriously injure two others when he was surrounded by three ninth-level opponents in the blink of an eye?

There were even frightening reports of the entire Faye Island being refined.

"More importantly, I've heard that Rhodes orchestrated Bahadur Magic Academy's break with Etheron. Bahadur has a strong capacity for magical development; its former headmaster, Ravin Ashton, joined the Church of Ego after being dismissed and is now one of the bishops."
Also present was the son of Grand Master Levicat, who apparently joined the Ego Church and became its youngest bishop. It seems this conference was convened at his insistence.

Rosalia frowned slightly, then shook her head: "I remember that Rhodes and Bahadur didn't get along well either. I didn't expect them to put aside their past grievances."

She admitted that she couldn't do that.

This tooth fairy is known for her vengeful and vindictive nature.

"Mr. Rhodes' most outstanding feature is his superior defensive capabilities, resistance, and offensive power. With his combat strength, once he gets close to a mage, he will slaughter them. However, Mr. Rhodes is not good at dispelling spells. If he is subjected to a large-scale weakening curse by mages, even he will be in trouble. I suspect that the Church of Ego is heading in this direction."

Eve's expression turned slightly serious.

Fighting a positional war against a well-prepared mage is not a good choice, especially since it is the top mage group in the entire continent.

Rosalia hesitated for a moment.

I decided to spend some time finding out what the meeting was about, and then find an opportunity to tell that guy.

Hopefully, that guy doesn't spend too much time in bed.
Enoch Desert, City of the Dead.

Mouse Girl Thirteen opened her eyes in the pitch-black room; her azure pupils shone with a natural ability to see into the dark.

She stretched out her arms and legs, shivering violently, and even her steel tail straightened, accidentally tearing the black curtain.

She smacked her sexy red lips, and her 1.8-meter-tall, voluptuous body curled up on two small pillows on the ground, which she had made into a small bed.

The curtain was torn and fell.

The sunlight outside the window shone into my eyes at a very inopportune time.

"Uh-huh."

Number Thirteen fanned his hands in annoyance, and only after realizing that he couldn't shake off the sunlight did he lazily prop himself up.

She glanced at the location of her elf master's bed.

no one.

She then loosened her tight, covered gray ears, revealing her cute pink earlobes.

Immediately.

From a room not far away, the familiar sounds of a friendly man smelling good and at least five women moaning and groaning reached my ears.

Number Thirteen was used to it; it was a common sound in the forest.

It seems to be particularly intense today, starting last night and continuing until now.

She quickly washed up as instructed by her elven master.

The steel tail hooked onto the door, and it creaked open.

The "uh-huh" sounds grew louder.

Looking down the corridor, in the deepest part of the bedroom, through the half-open door, one could vaguely see a kind man lying on his back on the bed, surrounded by three white bodies.

Several girls, exhausted and panting, lay on the side and foot of the bed.

Even behind the half-open gate, the banshee of the forest was gripping the doorknob, twitching limply on the ground, seemingly being executed on the spot while trying to escape.

"Don't look!"

The elven master's voice came from the other side of the corridor, cold as ice, "Damn human, you'll die in bed sooner or later."
