Dragon Ball Arrives in Marvel

Chapter 554 Reality Gem

Chapter 554 Reality Gem
At this moment, Jane was sitting in the room when suddenly a blood-red energy appeared in her consciousness, coloring the entire sky of Asgard. The red light then enveloped the entire Asgard.

Just then, several soldiers from the divine realm appeared, interrupting the illusion in her mind and waking her up.

“Jane Foster, you have to come with us.”

Jane was soon taken away by Asgardian soldiers.

At this moment, Odin was listening to his subordinates' reports in the palace, while his original throne was destroyed by Malekith with a black hole bomb.

Fandral, who was in charge of the palace's defenses in Asgard, spoke up to report:

"We still cannot restore the palace's barriers. Our cannons cannot detect them, and Heimdall cannot see them either."

"Your Majesty, we have completely lost our ability to defend ourselves."

As Odin was about to speak after hearing Fandral's report, Thor walked over.

"You imprisoned her?"

However, after Thor had angered Loki, he was about to go see his girlfriend and comfort her when he was unexpectedly taken away by soldiers.

Odin saw Thor approaching, and then addressed the surrounding soldiers, as well as Fandral and Volstagg of the Warriors Three:

"Everyone, stand down."

The group accepted the order and then turned to leave.

Seeing that his men had all left, Odin looked at Thor and said:

I don't want to argue with you.

Thor paused for a moment before speaking:

"I don't want to argue with you either."

“But I want to pursue Malekith; he was wounded by lightning, and this is a very good opportunity.”

Odin, however, retorted:
"The Aether particles are in our hands; Malekith will deliver them to our doorstep."

Thor disagreed with his father's words and retorted:

"Yes, he will destroy us."

Although he was ambushed and nearly lost his wife, Odin didn't care about the Dark Elves. He believed he could destroy them with the Spear of Eternity, even if it wasn't easy to unleash his full power. He said nonchalantly:

"You overestimate these monsters."

Saul retorted:
"No, I only cherish the lives of our people. If it weren't for Smith, we would have lost the Queen Mother this time. This is an unprecedented crisis."

Upon hearing this, Odin fell silent.

Thor continued:

“I intend to ask Smith to help me take Jane to the dark world and draw the enemy away from Asgard.”

"When Malekith removes the ether from the body of the simple, it will be exposed and vulnerable."

"Then Smith and I will wipe them out together."

Odin turned around and looked at Thor, saying:

"What do you mean by 'vulnerable'?"

Thor replied, "Aether particles."

"As long as I destroy the Aether, Malekith's conspiracy will fall apart."

Odin almost laughed when he heard Thor's idea.

His eldest son was still too young. The fact that he thought of inviting Smith to help made him think more highly of him. He was no longer fighting alone like before, but it was completely impossible to destroy the Aether particles.

Thor didn't know what the Aether was, but Odin knew very well that it was an Infinity Stone, and Thor's abilities were simply insufficient to destroy the Reality Stone.

He then refused, saying:

"You don't even know what an aether is, so how can you talk about destruction?"

“Even my father couldn’t destroy it; he only sealed it in an unknown place. You can’t destroy the Aether at all. Your actions will only lead to the weapon falling into enemy hands.” Hearing his father deny his ability to destroy the Aether, Thor asked in confusion:

"What is it that you think I can't destroy?"

Odin, holding the spear of eternity, struck the ground and then spoke:
"That is the Reality Stone, one of the six Infinity Stones."

Do you think you still have the ability to destroy it?

Upon hearing that it was the Reality Stone, one of the Infinity Stones, Thor was taken aback. He had never expected the Aether to be this, since the Aether has always been a liquid.

It was only then that Thor realized that the Aether was merely a tool for drawing upon the power of the Reality Stone; the Reality Stone itself was the true form of this thing.

Thor shook his head, but still spoke:
"Are we just supposed to sit here and wait to die?"

"Heimdall can't find them, the palace's defense system has collapsed, and sitting idly by will only be more dangerous."

"His fleet may be hovering over us right now, and we have no way of detecting them."

Odin looked at Thor, who was still persisting, with a sense of helplessness.

He immediately spoke up:
"You can't do it, but what do you have to offer Smith?"

"They just saved your mother."

Thor paused for a moment, then spoke:
"Father, what do you think of the treasures in your vault? Which ones has Smith Doyle taken a fancy to?"

Odin recalled the scene of Smith Doyle crushing the Tesseract and immediately spoke:
“He’s quite interested in the Infinity Stones. If you tell him that the Aether is the Reality Stone, he will help you.”

Thor paused for a few seconds, then slowly said:

"Collecting the Infinity Stones will attract the attention of the entire universe, and Earth will face a new war."

Odin glanced at his son and said:
"Do you really think Dragon Ball won't attract the attention of the entire universe?"

"That's just a matter of time."

"With Smith Doyle's power, he is qualified to wield another Infinity Stone."

Hearing his father's words, Thor thought of Shenron's ability to grant wishes and nodded. The Dragon Balls were no less attractive than the Infinity Stones, and in some aspects, they were even more powerful.

Thor was also curious about the extent of Smith Doyle's power, that even his father acknowledged that Smith Doyle possessed another Infinity Stone, especially since the Tesseract was in Smith Doyle's possession.

“I’ll go and ask Smith Doyle right away.”

After leaving the palace, Saul found Smith Doyle.

“Smith, I just learned from my father that the Aether is actually the Reality Stone among the Infinity Stones.”

"You must be interested in the Infinity Stones."

Smith Doyle made no attempt to hide anything and immediately spoke:
"I am very interested."

"This thing is too dangerous. It's too risky to leave it outside. It's safer for me to collect it and keep it here."

Smith Doyle knew that Thanos was collecting the Infinity Stones, and rather than letting Thanos collect the Infinity Stones to use as a fighting force and then attack Earth, he decided to keep them for himself.

Upon seeing this, Thor immediately said:

"If you're interested, that's fine."

“I have an idea: we can take Jane Foster directly to their headquarters. I believe the Dark Elves definitely have a safe way to retrieve the Aether particles, after all, they were once their weapon.”

"And once the ether particles were extracted, we killed them."

"In the end, the Aether is yours. All I need is Jane's safety and the other party's head."

"I will make that guy know the price he pays for hurting my mother."

Smith Doyle listened to Saul's proposal and nodded in agreement:

"No problem, you take your revenge and save your girlfriend, and the Infinity Stones are mine."
