Chapter 292 Ask for advice
Apart from the queen ant, who is slow-moving and can only take two unsteady steps at present, the rest of the leaf ants have swarmed out to find a place to build their home.

Before leaving, they communicated with the queen ant using their antennae, and then surrounded Josh in circles: "We're entrusting the queen ant to you. We'll come back for her once we find a suitable place to build our nest. You mustn't mistreat her!"

While talking to Josh, he glanced back at the queen ant with concern, and finally headed towards the farm without hesitation, somewhat like entrusting her orphanage to someone else.

But for some reason, Josh felt that the queen ant had been frozen senseless by the cryo-box. Even after it recovered, it didn't seem as smart as the other leaf ants.

These leaf ants rushed to the farm in search of a home, but it seemed completely indifferent, not even glancing at them, and was already catching up on sleep while lounging in the freezer.

"Will this work?" Josh looked at the queen ant with a complicated expression.

Well, let's see. Maybe the queen ant needs more time than the regular leaf ant. Let it sleep some more.

Before leaving, Josh told them to come back for food when they were almost hungry, and that he would prepare food for them and not to eat anything indiscriminately.

Although the leaf ants seem to dislike the leaf ant beans, they still have to eat them; they can't just eat garbage outside and die.

After hearing Josh's instructions, the already low-spirited leaf ants became even more saddened, their long antennae almost drooping to the ground.

What on earth is going on? Josh pulled out the newspaper she had specifically kept about the farm monsters. She remembered that it was mentioned, but she hadn't had time to look at it carefully before. Now she could take a look.

After searching extensively, she finally found a report about leaf ants in the newspaper from the 12th of last month.

Amazing Beast Habits: Many beasts force themselves to eat foods that are difficult for them to swallow. The most representative of these is the rare large-leaf ant. This precious agricultural beast is characterized by its need to feed on large-leaf ant beans. It can eat a small amount of other foods, but if it does not receive large-leaf ant beans for a long time, it will cause irreparable damage to its body, leading to the death of a large number of large-leaf ants.

However, they dislike the smell of large-leaved ant beans and often deliberately neglect them, causing the plants to die and thus accelerating their own demise.

As for the reason, it may be an unsolved mystery; no one knows why leaf ants have such peculiar habits.

Okay, I looked at it but it didn't seem to help much. I just thought it tasted awful.

If it tastes so bad, why did you evolve into something you absolutely have to eat? What were you thinking? Josh cursed the ancestors of the giant leaf bean a few times, utterly speechless.

However, a problem arises: these little guys might neglect the crops and even cause damage because the large-leaf ant beans taste too bad.

Josh needs to be careful.

"Little pink ball~ Little pink ball~" After thinking for a moment, Josh decided to call for a helper.

"Coo coo~" I am a pelican, what brings you here! These past two days, it's been talking in strange ways, I don't know who it picked up from.

"Little Pink Ball, did you see those big ants that just went out of the yard? Keep an eye on them when they go to the big leaf ant bean field these days. Make sure they don't cause any damage. If they do, bring the culprit to me. Don't resort to vigilante justice." Josh instructed it again.

The little pink ball nodded and "coo coo~" Okay, master, received!

However, it was a little curious: "Coo-coo?" Aren't leaf ants supposed to love leaf ant beans the most? Uh, Josh organized her thoughts, she had thought so before today.

"Perhaps, what it needs is not what it likes; in any case, they may not like that bean as much as we imagine."

"Goo~" Oh! The pink-feathered pelican nodded as if it understood. Okay.

"Oh, by the way, if you encounter any other magical beasts on the farm, remember to tell them too, and don't bully these newcomers."

"Coo coo!" I know, I know! The pink-feathered pelican had a look on its face that said, "Don't worry about me."

"Okay, then it's fine. Go out and have some fun," Josh said with a helpless smile.

"Gurgle~" It's gone, whoosh~ it flew away in an instant.

The little pink ball has now grown into a giant pink ball, and when it stands up, it's as big as Josh. Most of its downy feathers have fallen off, and in a few more months, it might grow pink feathers just like its mother, and become a beautiful baby bird.

It hasn't completely faded yet; it still looks a bit like a young bird, so cute and innocent, but it's also quite mischievous, which is a real headache.

After tidying up, Josh moved the freezer back to the warehouse and put the lid back on. The midday sun was already quite strong, and he didn't want to dry out the queen ant, fearing she would be hungry when she woke up. He left her a bunch of mixed salad of large-leaf ant bean leaves and pods, and then decided to add some honey.

Okay, Josh was relieved and put the lid back on, tidied himself up, and prepared to welcome Dolly.

Just as I started brewing the freshly prepared tea made from the flowers of the hyacinth, I heard the wolves howling – timid and lacking any real threat. They only let out their most powerful howls to intimidate disobedient lambs.

They simply don't have the guts to face humans.

Josh came out to greet her, "Dolly, you're here. Please come in."

Dolly smiled and nodded to Josh. "Thank you, Miss Josh."

"Do you have something to say to Dolly today? Or do you just want to talk to me about the shop?" Josh asked as soon as he sat down.

Upon hearing Josh's blunt words, Dolly was momentarily nervous, but quickly calmed down.

“Miss Josh, I’m not here simply to talk to you about the shop. I have something else I’d like to ask you.” Dolly said somewhat nervously.

Josh looked at her, not understanding what she wanted to ask. She had seemed much more aloof and arrogant before, so why did she seem... now?

Dolly licked her slightly dry lips, unsure if Josh would find her question too offensive, or if she would lie to that idiot Connor if she said she wasn't nervous.

“Miss Josh, as you know, the main product of Manye Farm is compressed juice. For the past year or so, I have focused on the research and development of Magic Fruit Tree and led my partners in the farm to develop several kinds of compressed juice. I originally thought that Chaoyang City would not have the same quality of attribute food, but I realized that I had become a frog in a well when I tasted the Glow Fruit Drink.”

The future development of compressed fruit juice is troubling me greatly. I don't know where to improve it to gain a foothold in the market. So, even if it's a competitor, I'd like to seek your advice. Could you offer some guidance for the development of my farm?
