"It's alright, let's go together." Lin Zhiqing started walking away.

The white-haired man remained unawakened, and Lin Zhiqing had obtained what she wanted; neither of them needed to stay any longer.

Jiang Liuyun didn't say much. He glanced at the white-haired man and then followed Lin Zhiqing outside.

The two quickly reached the exit.

Things were going so smoothly that Lin Zhiqing's steps were light and quick. As they entered the exit, her heart finally settled down.

As she walked, dust rose up from the steps.

She stomped her foot, knowing she was useless here and might even be a hindrance, so she turned and ran outside.

She hadn't run more than a few steps when she saw Lu Huai come in, looking completely bewildered.

"Zhiqing, what happened?" Lu Huai was confused.

"There's no time to explain, let's run!" Lin Zhiqing quickly ran up to Lu Huai and pulled him outside.

Not long after, they emerged from the secret passage and found themselves back in the dusty, secret room.

Lin Zhiqing's chest rose and fell slightly. She quickly found a broken table leg and threw it to Lu Huai. Holding a dagger in her hand, she stared intently at the exit of the secret passage.

"What's going on? Is someone inside?" Lu Huai took the table leg and stood at the exit.

"No, he's way more perverted than a human." Just thinking about how that white-haired man suddenly appeared out from behind her like a ghost gave Lin Zhiqing goosebumps.

How did he wake up? Could it be because I took the letter?

But she didn't have time to think further and shouted into the secret passage:
"Jiang Liuyun, quick, run outside! Once you're out, we'll lock that pervert up!"
