Chapter 84 84. A Kiss After a Long Separation

After Noah returned, he took Pani to a small room that was fairly tidy.

Although the room is not big, it has all the basic living facilities.

Noah folded his hands across his chest, his expression calm yet filled with unquestionable dignity, and spoke:
"From today on, you will live here. Your duties are simple. You will be responsible for preparing three meals a day for your sister and ensuring that every dish is to her liking. As for other matters in the castle, you don't need to worry about them."

Pani bowed slightly, her voice full of humility: "Thank you, Lord Noah, for your appreciation and care. I will do my best."

He breathed a sigh of relief only after Noah turned and left the room.

He looked at the night outside the window, and then waited until late at night.

Late at night, the night is as dark as ink.

Pani was wearing a nightgown and hiding in the shadows outside the castle. He moved lightly, taking every step very carefully, and his ears were alertly turning to capture every movement around him.

His figure was pressed tightly against the cold wall, and the moonlight stretched his shadow long and narrow.

Just as he was racking his brains to think about how to find Su Yaoyao's room in this intricate castle, he accidentally looked up and found an open window.

The window was pitch black and the lights were out, but this unknown darkness seemed to hide endless hope.

"Could it be that Yaoyao left it for him specially?" This thought flashed through his mind, like a ray of light in the darkness.

He no longer hesitated, took a deep breath, and relying on the rabbit orc's unique physical flexibility and super jumping ability, he suddenly exerted force with his legs and leaped towards the high windowsill like a black lightning.

His movements were light and agile, drawing a graceful arc in mid-air and landing steadily on the windowsill. Then, he flashed and flipped into the house.

The room was filled with a faint fragrance. Pani's eyes searched eagerly in the darkness, and finally stopped on the soft bed.

On the bed, Su Yaoyao was lying on her side, falling into a deep sleep.

Just a back view made Pani's eyes red instantly. That was the little female he had been thinking about day and night! His steps unconsciously slowed down, for fear of disturbing the tranquility.

Su Yaoyao was sleeping when she suddenly felt a warm force gently hugging her. She woke up suddenly and opened her eyes in horror.

Before she could utter a sound, a pair of hands quickly covered her mouth.

"Yaoyao, it's me." Pani lowered her voice, and the familiar voice sounded in Su Yaoyao's ears.

Su Yaoyao's pupils flashed instantly, her eyes became slightly moist, and she nodded vigorously.

In fact, she had known that Pani would come, so she opened the window and waited, but she was so sleepy in the middle of the night that she couldn't help falling asleep.

Su Yaoyao slowly turned around and looked carefully at Pani in front of her under the dim moonlight.

Only then did she realize that Tiffany's hair color and skin color had changed. If it weren't for her familiar facial features, she would almost not recognize her.

"I used some potions to disguise myself." Pani saw her confusion and explained softly.

Su Yaoyao raised her hand, her fingertips trembling slightly as she carefully stroked Pani's facial features, her emotions so excited that she could hardly control herself.

Seeing this, Pani could no longer control her longing and kissed Su Yaoyao on the lips.

The kiss was very gentle, with the caution of a long-awaited reunion.

Su Yaoyao closed her eyes, indulging in this long-lost tenderness, and her hands unconsciously grasped Pani's clothes. After a long time, Pani reluctantly let go.

He lowered his head slightly, revealing his two rabbit ears. He took Su Yaoyao's hand and gently placed it on her ear, as if silently comforting her.

"I was afraid that you were all dead. Fortunately, you are all alive." Su Yaoyao's voice was choked with sobs, and all her worries and fears poured out at this moment.

"When the spaceship crashed, we sent a distress signal to the empire, and it was His Majesty who sent a search team to save us." Pani said gently, his eyes full of relief at having survived the disaster.

"Yaoyao, I miss you so much. We are all waiting for you to come back."

During the days of separation, he was always worried about Su Yaoyao. Every sleepless night, her figure was in his mind.

"But now is not the time to reminisce. Let's leave the city under cover of night. The generals will lie in ambush outside the city gate to meet us."

Pani's tone became firm. At this moment, they must race against time to escape from this dangerous place.

"Leon and Rig are here?" Su Yaoyao was slightly stunned, a hint of surprise flashed in her eyes, and a little worry.

Being able to see her beastly husbands again made her feel warm inside, but she couldn't help but feel a little nervous when she thought about the situation she was about to face.

Pani: "Not only that, there are also soldiers in the base, the Imperial Paladins. Once you escape, they will flatten this place."

The empire's army has assembled and is on standby, waiting for Su Yaoyao to leave safely, and then they will launch a thundering offensive to completely destroy Snake Scale City.

Su Yaoyao was startled, a trace of panic flashed across her face. She said anxiously, "But there are still many ordinary orcs in this city. What should we do with them? They are also citizens of the empire."

Her eyes were filled with worry, and the faces of those ordinary orcs appeared in her mind one by one. She saw their lives and their helplessness, and she really couldn't bear to let them suffer the baptism of war.

"But if they join Snake Scale City, they will be rebels against the empire." Pani frowned slightly, with a hint of helplessness in his tone.

In the laws of the Empire, betrayal is an unforgivable crime. These orcs have joined Snake Scale City and have undoubtedly stood on the opposite side of the Empire.

"They don't know what a rebellion is. They just don't have fair legal protection in the empire. They just want to survive."

Su Yaoyao was very excited and her voice trembled slightly.

She knew very well the hardships of these ordinary orcs. They had suffered torture and had nowhere else to go before coming to Snake Scale City. They really shouldn't be treated as traitors.

Pani frowned. He understood what Su Yaoyao meant and felt a little shaken, but the situation was urgent and he couldn't afford to think too much.

He opened his mouth, but didn't know how to respond, so he could only sigh.

"Let's not talk about this, Yaoyao. Come with me out of the city first." Pani tried to change the subject. What he was most worried about now was Su Yaoyao's safety. Only if she left safely would everything turn around.

"Once I leave the city, the army will attack it. I can't leave." Su Yaoyao was determined, with a stubborn look in her eyes.

She couldn't bear to watch the people in the city fall into the flames of war. Even if there was only a glimmer of hope, she would fight for them.

"Yaoyao, how can you joke about your own life?"

There was a hint of anxiety in Pani's voice. She reached out to grab Su Yaoyao, but she gently dodged him.
