Chapter 1675 Interaction between the Father and His Four Sons
With her homemade bait, she caught fish quickly, and stopped after catching her fourth one.

She took out a net from her pocket, put three fish in it, and gave the remaining, slightly smaller fish to the man who had helped her catch the fish earlier: "Brother, this fish is for you. Thank you for your help earlier."

The man hadn't expected such a good thing. He often helped people catch fish, but no one had ever given him fish as a gift. He was a little embarrassed and said, "How can I accept this?"

Chu Xue simply smiled faintly and said, "I don't like owing favors, so just accept it."

As he spoke, he put the fish directly into his bucket.

Afterwards, Chu Xue picked up her fishing gear and net and turned to leave.

As soon as she left, someone behind her teased the man who had caught the fish: "Well done, Lao Qian, you've finally been rewarded after helping people so many times. We'll never call you stupid again."

After all, that fish weighed at least three pounds, and everyone was very envious.

Someone joked, "I should have gone up and helped too."

Chu Xue carried the fish until she reached a less crowded area before stopping. She found a corner to make sure the surroundings were safe, then found a secluded spot to put the fishing gear back into her spatial storage before quickly leaving with the net.

Instead of going to her mother-in-law's place first, she returned to her own courtyard: "Aunt Wei, I brought back some fish. I saw that you bought tofu this morning, so we can use it to stew the fish."

Aunt Wei turned around and saw the fish she was carrying: "This fish is so fresh, where did it come from?"

Chu Xue took one out of the net and put the rest, net and all, into the water, casually making up a story: "I caught this by borrowing someone else's fishing rod at Shichahai."

She took a knife from the kitchen: "I'll clean the fish and start stewing it first. I won't bring the triplets over tonight; it's hard for one person to take care of them."

Aunt Wei smiled at the three little ones who came out of the house and whispered, "They must have heard what you said."

Sure enough, Fu Bao ran over first: "Mom, Mom, where are you going?"

Le Bao ran over too: "Mommy, let's go, Le Bao will go."

Kangbao remained silent, but his gaze lingered on Chuxue, his meaning crystal clear. Chuxue crouched down: "My darlings, will you stay home and wait for Mommy obediently?"

The three little ones exclaimed in unison, "No good!"

Just as she was wondering how to tell them, she heard Fu Yancheng's voice come in: "Then let's go together."

As soon as the three little ones heard Fu Yancheng's voice, they all rushed over: "Daddy, hug me."

Fu Yancheng put down what he was carrying, squatted down, and opened his arms to catch the three little ones: "Did you miss Daddy?"

As he spoke, he rubbed his stubble against their faces, but only as a gesture, as if afraid his stubble would prick their little faces: "Tell me quickly, have you missed your dad? Otherwise, I'll prick your little faces with my beard."

Le Bao was the first to give in: "I miss my dad, I want to fly high."

Fu Yancheng kissed his daughter on the cheek: "I knew it, my daughter must have missed me. I even sneezed this afternoon."

Upon hearing this, Le Bao looked up and laughed happily, clapping her little hands and saying, "Yes, it's Le Bao who misses Daddy."

Fu Bao reached out to hug Fu Yancheng's neck: "Me too."

Kangbao simply leaned on Fu Yancheng's arm and watched his older brother and sister interact with their father.

Fu Yancheng kissed his youngest son's forehead: "Where is our Kangbao? Does he miss his dad too?"

Kang Bao nodded, his answer quite simple: "Yes."

Fu Yancheng hugged the three children tightly and picked them all up, saying, "I missed you all too."

All three children burst into laughter. Fu Yancheng then carried them around in the yard, and the four of them laughed and joked together.
