Chapter 586 The original form of Wanwan is so cute
The night was as dark as ink, and the noise and turmoil were finally temporarily calmed down, settling into a deep weariness.

When Bai Wanwan returned to her simple lodgings, she felt as if all the bones in her body were falling apart. She yawned several times, her eyelids were so heavy they were almost stuck together, and her vision was blurry and doubled due to extreme drowsiness.

She insisted on walking to the nest, and seeing the babies sleeping soundly, she immediately reached out and touched their fur.

Only after the babies started snoring contentedly did Bai Wanwan let her drowsiness creep in.

Xin Feng had been keeping an eye on her condition. Upon seeing this, he immediately stepped forward, his strong arms firmly supporting her swaying body. He half-carried, half-supported her to the bedside, his voice unusually gentle: "Wanwan, go to sleep."

Almost instinctively, Bai Wanwan reached out and grabbed Xin Feng's clothes.

Her eyelids were completely closed, and her voice, heavy with sleep, slurred, "Tomorrow morning, have everyone... pack up, and we'll set off... back to the Tiger Clan as soon as possible..."

His words were broken and intermittent, almost like a dream.

"Okay, you can sleep peacefully. Yanlie will take care of these things," Xin Feng assured him in a low voice, his tone steady and reliable.

Bai Wanwan was already extremely tired. Almost the instant Xin Feng finished speaking, her tense nerves completely relaxed, her breathing became long and even, and she fell into a deep sleep.

Xin Feng did not leave immediately.

He squatted by the bed, maintaining a guarding posture, his gaze lingering on Bai Wanwan's sleeping face.

The flickering light of the campfire illuminated her serene sleeping face, her long eyelashes casting soft shadows beneath her eyes, touching the softest part of his heart.

Zhu Xiu walked over at some point, his tall figure casting a long shadow on the wall.

His gaze also fell on Bai Wanwan, with an imperceptible tenderness, and he whispered to Xin Feng, "You sleep with Wanwan. Yan Lie has to deal with the remaining matters tonight, so I'll stay on night duty."

They had a tacit understanding; taking turns guarding each other was an unspoken agreement between them.

Xin Feng did not refuse and nodded: "Okay."

In her sleep, Bai Wanwan felt a warm and familiar embrace approaching. She murmured unconsciously and, like a small animal seeking a source of heat, instinctively snuggled deeper into Xin Feng's arms. After finding a more comfortable position, her breathing became sweeter and more steady.

******
At dawn, as the sky was just beginning to lighten, Bai Wanwan was awakened by the faint, chaotic sounds coming from outside.

She rubbed her still sleepy eyes, yawned, and sat up, only to find that there were no other males in the stone house.

She threw off the animal skin blanket covering her and stepped out of the stone house, where she saw Xin Feng carefully packing his belongings in the open space outside the door.

"You're up?" Xin Feng turned around at the sound, a gentle smile on his face. "Breakfast is ready for you. Zhu Xiu and the others are helping to count and bundle the supplies. We'll be able to head back in a little while."

"Okay." Bai Wanwan replied, glancing outside and seeing all the beastmen busy and orderly making their final preparations before departure.

She quickly washed herself with water, and after regaining her senses, she sat down at the simple stone table and began to enjoy a few pieces of roasted meat.

"Breakfast is a bit simple. If you don't want roast meat, I can make you something else?" Xin Feng looked at her apologetically.

Bai Wanwan gave him a reassuring smile, picked up a piece of roasted meat and took a bite: "It's not that fancy, just eat something, we need to get going."

She had just eaten half of her meal when she heard rustling noises coming from the next room.

Immediately afterwards, three furry leopard cubs stumbled and pushed their way out, making weak "howling" sounds as they walked, their big, round eyes looking around blankly.

"Oh dear, have Mommy's little darlings woken up hungry too?" Bai Wanwan immediately put down the food in her hand, hurried forward, bent down, and gently picked up the three little ones one by one, hugging them into her arms.

The leopard cubs sensed their mother's presence and immediately began to nuzzle restlessly in her arms, their wet little noses sniffing eagerly at her chest, searching for food.

"Don't rush, don't rush, Mom will feed you now."

"I'll hold them. You can feed them after you finish your barbecue."

Bai Wanwan shook her head, "The babies are hungry. I've eaten so much now and I'm not hungry at all. I'll feed the rest to them and then eat some more."

While comforting the hungry cubs, she quickly carried them back to the inner room, held them securely in her arms, and prepared to nurse them.

Just then, Yan Lie and Zhu Xiu returned after finishing their business outside.

Yan Lie stepped into the house first and happened to see this scene.

To make it easier to nurse her cubs, Bai Wanwan has transformed into a beast.

Under the focused gaze of her male, Bai Wanwan, who rarely reverts to her beast form, appears exceptionally attractive with her fluffy black and white fur and petite, adorable figure, as if radiating a pure and warm aura.

Yan Lie's heart felt as if it had been gently bumped by something soft, and his ears involuntarily flushed red.

He almost subconsciously stepped forward, reached out, and gently touched the soft, smooth hair on her back with a touch of caution.

"Wanwan," his voice unconsciously lowered, carrying a barely perceptible hoarseness and overflowing affection, "you're so cute!"

The tiny, warm, and fluffy creature lay there quietly, nursing its cubs. This heartwarming scene stirred an irresistible urge in Yan Lie's heart. He longed to immediately embrace her and the cubs tightly and gently, to caress them and feel the happiness and peace that belonged only to him.

Thinking this way, he did it.

He bent down and embraced his females and cubs.

The children were gulping down their food, and he could smell the unique scent of milk emanating from Wanwan.

He even felt thirsty and couldn't help but swallow.

"Don't cause any trouble, I'll leave once I've fed the babies."

Yan Lie looked at his cubs with envy and longing.

He wanted to switch places with the babies...

His head involuntarily drooped down, but at that moment, Zhu Xiu lifted his neck up, saying, "You want to fight for your own child too."

Yan Lie cleared his throat to ease the awkwardness; for a moment just now, he had indeed had that thought.

"Ahem... Wanwan, I just came to tell you that everyone is ready and can leave to go back at any time."

The beautiful white cat nodded its head. "Okay, after feeding the kittens, we'll set off."
