Chapter 580 Hua Han Disappears
"The fox clan is relatively safe now, but not absolutely safe. We can't stay here forever. So... do you think we should try to persuade your father beast and the clan leader to temporarily lead the clan back to the tiger clan with us for safety, and then come back when the situation outside stabilizes?"

Hua Han immediately understood Wanwan's good intentions.

Just because something hasn't happened yet doesn't mean a disaster won't happen.

The tragic fate of the leopard clan was still fresh in his mind, and he knew that Wanwan's suggestion was the most correct and safest solution at present.

If it weren't for me, Wanwan would never have worried about this while pregnant.

He was moved and held her hand tightly. "Okay! I'll go find my father and the clan leader and explain the situation outside to them."

Hua Han didn't delay any longer. She immediately got out of bed, tidied her clothes, and hurriedly left the stone house.

However, this trip took most of the day.

The last rays of the setting sun disappeared into the horizon, and the stone house was gradually enveloped in darkness.

Bai Wanwan sat by the window, having already put down the animal skin coat in her hand. Her gaze repeatedly drifted to the path leading to the center of the tribe outside the door, her brows furrowing more and more tightly.

Hua Han was gone for most of the day, far exceeding his usual limit of waking up, and a feeling of unease crept into her heart like vines.

"Xin Feng," she finally couldn't help but look at Xin Feng, who was packing his things, "Hua Han has been gone for so long and hasn't returned yet. I'm a little worried. Could you go to the clan leader and ask about the situation? See how their discussion is going?"

Xin Feng put down what he was holding and nodded: "Okay, I'll go right away. Perhaps things are just a bit complicated, so let's discuss it a little longer."

He patted Bai Wanwan's hand reassuringly, then turned and strode out of the stone house.

Xin Feng acted quickly; Bai Wanwan hadn't waited long before she saw him hurrying back.

Seeing his expression, Bai Wanwan's heart sank.

“Wanwan, the clan chief said that Hua Han left and returned after only a short time with them.”

Those who should have returned long ago are nowhere to be seen.

"Gone?" Bai Wanwan stood up, her face pale.

"Don't worry, Wanwan! We'll go find him right away!"

Yan Lie, who entered shortly after, immediately stepped forward to support her swaying body and comforted her.

Zhu Xiu also walked over, his dark eyes appearing exceptionally calm in the dim light.

He quickly made arrangements: "I'll stay with Wanwan to protect her. The three of you go and search the area immediately."

He paused, then looked at Xin Feng, "It would be best to inform the Fox Clan Chief and ask them to send some beastmen familiar with the terrain to search with you."

"Okay! Wanwan is in your care now."

Xin Feng turned to look at Bai Wanwan, his voice reassuring, "Wanwan, Hua Han may have just gone somewhere else for a while. Don't worry, we will definitely bring him back safely!"

"Yes, you all need to be careful too!"

She saw the three males out the door, her worries growing stronger.

Without further delay, the three males sprang into action, their figures quickly disappearing into the deepening night.

Only Bai Wanwan and Zhu Xiu remained in the stone house.

Zhu Xiu didn't urge Bai Wanwan to rest, but stood silently beside her, like the most steadfast rock.

Time passed slowly, and almost all the orcs in the tribe had fallen asleep, but no news of Hua Han had yet come back.

"Aren't you sleepy?" Zhu Xiu asked, looking at her.

How could she possibly sleep? Shaking her head, she said, "I'm not sleepy. Don't worry about me. If you're sleepy, go take a nap."

As she spoke, she would occasionally walk to the door to look around, listening intently to the sounds outside, hoping to hear familiar footsteps.

Zhu Xiu got up, poured a bowl of warm water and handed it to her, his voice steady and strong, "Don't think too much. Before there's a result, any speculation is just scaring yourself."

Bai Wanwan took the bowl, hummed in agreement, and slowly drank from it.

My inner anxiety has indeed eased considerably.

After an unknown amount of time, a series of hurried and chaotic footsteps finally came from outside...

Bai Wanwan's heart skipped a beat, and she immediately pushed open the stone door and rushed out.

Zhu Xiu immediately followed closely behind.

In the firelight, Yan Lie and Yin Ze were seen carrying the unconscious male and walking quickly towards them.

As she got closer, Bai Wanwan could see the male's face clearly.

It's the season of cold flowers!

He was pale, his eyes were closed, and his body was covered in dust and grass clippings, looking utterly disheveled.

Behind them followed dozens of male foxes, and... several strange beastmen who were bound by vines, with cloudy eyes, struggling and growling!

Bai Wanwan walked quickly over to check on Hua Han's condition.

"Wanwan, be careful, don't bump into anything."

Xin Feng gave her a reminder and pulled her to the side.

Yan Lie and Yin Ze carefully carried Hua Han into the house and placed her on a bed covered with thick animal hides.

"What happened? Where did you find him? And what about those orcs?" Bai Wanwan's gaze swept over the bound orcs outside.

After putting Hua Han down, Yan Lie put one hand on his hip and breathed slightly. "We found him near a small ape tribe settlement, about half a day's journey from the fox tribe. When we arrived, Hua Han... was completely under control and was frantically attacking the orcs of that small tribe. He almost... almost wiped out that small tribe."

Yin Ze interjected, "Fortunately, we arrived in time and managed to subdue him together. Many of those ape-like beastmen were also controlled by the dark energy and couldn't distinguish friend from foe. We had no choice but to knock out the remaining controlled beastmen who could still be saved and bring them back."

After listening, Bai Wanwan looked at the unconscious Hua Han on the bed with lingering fear. Fortunately, she was discovered in time and no major accident occurred.

She gently stroked Hua Han's cold cheek and whispered to Zhu Xiu and Yan Lie, "Let him rest first. As for those controlled orcs... tie them up and settle them down for now."

Bai Wanwan turned her head and saw that the fox clan chief was still outside. He was asking Zhu Xiu, who was standing to the side, a serious question.

"What Hua Han told us this afternoon about the attacks on the controlled orcs and leopards outside... seems to be true."

Zhu Xiu didn't care about the lives or deaths of other beastmen.

"Well, you can decide for yourselves. We don't have much time to waste here. We'll be leaving in a couple of days."

The clan leader and several elders all looked grave and grim. They exchanged glances, their eyes filled with struggle and worry.

The chieftain sighed: "The matter of relocating the entire tribe... is of great importance, and we need time to gather the tribe members to discuss it. We will give you an answer as soon as possible."

Zhu Xiu nodded, offering no further response.

Inside, Bai Wanwan covered Hua Han with a light blanket. "You've all been working hard all night, go and rest. In a couple of days, whether they want to leave with us or not, we'll be leaving."

The situation outside was unpredictable, and she was pregnant, so she didn't want her beast husbands to take too many risks.
