Chapter 454 Kiss me
The wind and snow seemed to intensify, howling and pounding against the thick animal-hide curtains of the stone house. Jiaoyin, carrying several frozen snow deer and ibex, approached, his tall figure radiating a chilling aura.

Surprisingly, Hua Han wasn't sticking close to Bai Wanwan or playing with the cubs as usual; instead, she was sitting alone in the wind and snow outside.

Holding a thin bone needle, he clumsily poked at a small piece of animal hide.

"Why aren't you inside with Wanwan and the cubs?"

Jiaoyin put down the heavy prey, and ice crystals fell in a flurry, melting and leaving a small wet patch on the ground.

He brushed the snow off his animal-skin robe as he asked in a deep voice.

Hua Han didn't even look up. Hissed as his finger was pricked hard by the bone needle. He threw the thing aside in annoyance and said sourly, "Accompany? My real beast husband is inside with me, showing me tender care and affection. Why would I need to get in his way?"

His tone was as if he had just swallowed a bitter fruit.

Jiaoyin's tall body suddenly stiffened, and his action of patting the snowflakes stopped.

He suddenly looked up, his gaze piercing through the dim light, locking onto the half-open wooden door covered by a thick animal hide.

The room was quiet; the cubs seemed to be fast asleep after eating, with only the crackling of the burning firewood in the hearth.

But if you listen carefully, you can faintly hear a soft, worried female voice coming from the gap in the curtain, along with a deep, steady male response.

"Are they alright?" Bai Wanwan's voice was filled with deep concern.

During this period, her deepest fear was not of her own safety, but of her several beastly husbands.

She feared they would lose their minds because of her disappearance, and that they would do something crazy that disregarded their own safety.

Yin Ze's tired voice carried a reassuring tone, "Aside from worrying about you day and night, no one else was injured and everyone is in good health."

He paused, seemingly tightening his grip on her hand, his voice lower, "We found Roger... He was seriously injured but we got your laser gun back, but unfortunately we couldn't kill him. In the end, he jumped into the sea and disappeared."

“Roger…” Bai Wanwan pursed her lips.

If Roger had approached it differently, she might not have been so resistant to accepting him.

But he insisted on taking her away, and he even chose the most important moment of her life to forcibly separate her from her beastly husbands in this way.

Roger's obsessive behavior made her grit her teeth in hatred.

“Then let’s set off tomorrow! They must be worried because they haven’t seen me for a day.”

Outside the curtain, Jiao Yin's breathing softened almost imperceptibly. Hua Han had also moved closer, her face tense.

Her words struck Hua Han hard, and her face paled slightly.

What will he do if she leaves?
Yin Ze's calm voice rang out just in time, like a stabilizing force: "Wanwan, not yet."

“It’s freezing cold outside, the snow is waist-deep, and the wind can blow away birds. It’s too dangerous to take you and the cubs across that raging ocean. I can’t take you on that adventure.”

His tone carried a thoughtful resolve. "I'll return to the other side alone tomorrow to tell them you're safe and put their minds at ease. Then I'll come back and spend this snowy season with you. When spring arrives, the ice and snow melt, and the sea calms, we'll go home together. Okay?"

Outside the curtain, Hua Han's heart, which had been in her throat, settled back down, and she let out a long, silent sigh of relief.

His clenched fists slowly loosened, his palms covered in cold sweat.

The opportunity... is still there!
He composed himself and glanced at Jiaoyin, who was also silent.

With a perfectly timed, concerned smile returning to her face, she reached out and lifted the curtain to go inside. "Yin Ze is right, it's too risky to leave now."

He naturally replied, his gaze sweeping over Yin Ze's travel-worn but still handsome face, and Bai Wanwan's slightly reddened eyes, "Yin Ze, you've flown across the entire ocean, you must be exhausted. Eat something to fill your stomach first, then get a good night's rest to recharge your energy."

He walked to the corner, deftly took out the fattest, smoked pieces of meat and some dried fruit, and presented them to Yin Ze in a friendly manner.

Bai Wanwan nodded quickly, looking at Yin Ze with concern: "Yes, look at you, you've lost weight from exhaustion, and your eyes are sunken. Stop talking and eat something."

She reached out and gently brushed a few strands of hair from Yin Ze's forehead, the movement natural and intimate.

Yin Ze looked at the food presented to him, then looked up and said "thank you" to Hua Han.

He was indeed starving and exhausted to the bone.

His craving for food was so strong that he swallowed very quickly, yet he did not appear rude at all.

This was the most satisfying and reassuring meal he had had since leaving the other side of the strait.

The feeling of fullness and the sense of security of finding the bend finally allowed his tense nerves to relax.

As night deepened, only the embers of the fire pit remained in the cave, radiating a final warmth.

After washing up, Yin Ze naturally slept with Bai Wanwan on the stone bed covered with the thickest and softest animal hides, while the cubs slept soundly in their little nest next to them.

Hua Han lay on his cold bunk, tossing and turning. The dry grass beneath him rustled, mirroring his restless heart.

He opened his eyes wide and stared at the direction of the inner room, but he couldn't see anything through the curtain.

But inside was everything he had ever dreamed of.

The moment that male arrived, he easily took the place he had longed for day and night!

He clenched his fingers, determined to get that chance to lie openly and legitimately beside her!

On the stone bed, Bai Wanwan nestled affectionately in Yin Ze's warm and comforting embrace, like a fledgling bird returning to its nest. She absorbed his familiar scent, which finally gave her wandering and helpless heart a safe harbor.

Yin Ze's arms encircled her, the strength gentle yet possessive.

He could certainly see the desire those two males outside had for Wanwan, and his arms tightened unconsciously.

He tried his best to suppress his turbulent desires, deliberately keeping his breathing steady and long.

But his beloved female clung to him, her soft curves and the faint fragrance emanating from her neck constantly challenging his proud self-control.

His body was taut like a fully drawn bow, and each breath became heavy and hot.

In the darkness, Bai Wanwan could clearly feel the changes in his body and his suppressed desire.

She tilted her head back, accurately catching his tightly pursed lips in the darkness, and proactively and gently pressed her lips to his, with a hint of soothing and teasing.

“Fool…” she murmured at his lips, her warm breath brushing against his chin, “I’m right here beside you, truly and undeniably… there’s no need to hold back.”

The touch of her lips made Yin Ze's breathing become even heavier, "Wanwan..."

"kiss Me."
