Chapter 354 Why Not Repay Now

Bai Wanwan was silent for a moment, then followed her heart and shook her head. "I have to leave."

Yin Ze's expression darkened after hearing this.

He stood there watching her for a while before turning around and going inside.

Seeing this, Yin Mei offered a reassuring remark and followed after them.

Bai Wanwan thought he was angry, and the smile on her lips disappeared.

When she woke up, she remembered nothing and lacked a sense of security. She actually had a kind of chick complex towards Yin Ze and Yin Mei, who saved her.

She was quite attached to them, and the sudden separation made her feel a little reluctant to part with them.

But her subconscious told her that if she stayed here in a daze without figuring out who those four men were, she would regret it for the rest of her life.

After glancing in the direction of the stone house, Bai Wanwan decided to ask the caravan when they would return, as she wanted to go out with them.

Meanwhile, Yin Mei pushed open the door and entered the room. Staring at Yin Ze's retreating figure as he drank water, she sighed and said, "Are you angry?"

Yin Ze didn't turn around and continued drinking water.

“Wanwan has forgotten her past, so she must be very anxious. It’s normal for her to want to find out about her past. You’re angry with Wanwan because of this. Since I’m your older sister, I won’t take your side.”

Yin Ze put down the stone bowl and turned around.

"I'm not angry, I just need some time to think about something."

"Huh? What's the matter?"

Yin Ze looked at his older sister, his eyes seemingly filled with struggle.

He brought his sister away to live in a medium-sized tribe because he was afraid she would be mistreated in the tribe.

He had promised the Beast God that his only family member was his sister, and that he would always protect her and watch her be happy.

But now, he suddenly felt an urge to go out with Wanwan and try to find her lost memories.

After all, Yin Mei had grown up with him, and she quickly understood what was going on when she saw his frowning and hesitant expression.

"You want to leave with Wanwan?" Yin Mei said this without getting angry; her eyes even lit up.

"I... Sister Ci, I haven't decided yet," Yin Ze said honestly.

This is no small matter. Even though the female sister now has Kong Lai by her side, one male may not be able to protect her well.

He was worried about leaving.

Noticing Yin Ze's worry and hesitation, Yin Mei stepped forward and gently hugged him. "Yin Ze, you've done enough for your female sister. Your female sister hopes you can also fight for yourself. Wanwan is a good female, and your sister likes her too. Try your best to become her beast husband. Your sister doesn't have any cubs, so how about I help you raise your cubs in the future?"

A blush crept up Yin Ze's ears. "You're thinking too far ahead."

Yin Mei chuckled, "Alright, alright, Sister Ci was thinking too far ahead. It's decided then. You see Wanwan out, and I'll go prepare things for you."

"Yes, I will bring Wanwan back with me in the future."

"Okay, I'll always be here waiting for you."

After talking with Sister Ci, Yin Ze felt relieved. Once he made his decision, he no longer hesitated and strode out to find Bai Wanwan.

When they found her, she was talking to several males.

The males practically wanted to stick to her, while Yin Ze, with a dark expression, stepped forward and pulled Bai Wanwan behind him.

The males were initially a little angry, but upon seeing that it was the orange-rank male Yin Ze, they all calmed down, didn't dare to say anything more, and immediately turned and left.

"Hey, wait a minute, you weren't finished talking..."

Yin Ze grabbed her raised hand and pulled it down. "What do you want to ask? You can ask me."

Bai Wanwan hesitated for a moment, thinking that they would have to part ways sooner or later, so she simply said, "Okay, I want to ask when their caravan is coming. I want to leave with the caravan then."

"No need to ask anymore." Yin Ze looked at her face and suddenly wanted to tease her, "You're just leaving like this? Aren't you going to thank us for saving you?" Bai Wanwan sighed, "I have nothing now, but in the future... when I find my past, I will come back to repay you."

Bai Wanwan felt a little embarrassed about issuing this empty promise.

"Then let's repay the debt now."

Yin Ze suddenly leaned over and pulled her into his arms.

In the twilight, his emerald eyes shimmered with a dark light, and his handsome features were gilded by the campfire. Bai Wanwan was momentarily dazed and forgot to break free.

But reason quickly returned to her. She wouldn't stay here. She couldn't have a future with Yin Ze, so the best thing to do was to cut ties cleanly.

Just then, an orc passed by. Bai Wanwan pushed him away, and Yin Ze had no choice but to stop.

"It's getting late, let's go back."

"I'd also like to ask about the caravan."

Yin Ze pulled her hand and led her back, saying, "No need to ask anymore, someone will take you out."

Yin Ze's words reassured Bai Wanwan, but she kept asking, "Who? Are the tribal orcs going out?"

Yin Ze's eyes flickered. "Hmm,"

"Who is it? When can we leave?"

Her white, crescent-shaped eyes sparkled as she tugged at his hand, as if she couldn't wait to leave.

Yin Ze felt a little uneasy. After spending so many days together, was she really in such a hurry to leave?
"We'll find out who it is tomorrow very soon."

After saying that, Yin Ze didn't explain anything else, and after returning home, he didn't say another word to her.

That night, Bai Wanwan lay in bed for a long time before finally falling asleep.

But all good things must come to an end, and we must part ways sooner or later.

She tried to convince herself of this, but when she woke up the next day, she still had two big dark circles under her eyes.

"What's wrong? Didn't you sleep well?" Yin Mei noticed immediately and pulled her aside to ask.

Bai Wanwan hummed in agreement. "It might be a bit hot, so I didn't sleep well."

Yin Mei didn't point it out, but glared at Yin Ze next to her with some resentment.

Then he turned back to Bai Wanwan and said, "Didn't Yin Ze tell you?"

Bai Wanwan was absent-minded, but still replied, "I told him, he said that an orc will take me away today. Sister Yinmei, I'm leaving now. Take good care of yourself. I will come back to see you when I have the chance."

She opened her arms and hugged Yoon-mi.

Yin Mei also reached out and hugged her back, gently patting her back, "Okay, I'll wait for you to come back and see me."

"Us?" Bai Wanwan raised her eyebrows in confusion. Did Sister Yin Mei mean the orcs who sent her out?
“Yin Ze, he personally took you there. That rascal, he didn’t tell you and let you overthink things.”

Upon hearing Yin Mei's words, Bai Wanwan suddenly turned her head and looked at Yin Ze beside her.

He deliberately didn't look up at her, and seemed a little uncomfortable.

"Is what Sister Yin Mei said true?"

Yin Ze had originally planned to tell her today, and only now did he nod in response, "Yes, I'll go out with you, so you won't be tricked by other bad beastmen."

Bai Wanwan smiled and said, "Yin Ze, thank you!"

"Why thank him? It's what he should do," Yin Mei replied with a smile.

After finishing their meal, Yin Ze shouldered a bundle, took Bai Wanwan with him, and slowly walked out of the Peacock Tribe's gate, watched by Yin Mei.
