Chapter 126 "Forced Control"

Uncle Song led the twins upstairs, and Song Yuncheng was long forgotten. Fortunately, he had expected it, so he didn't pay much attention. He locked his bicycle, took a long stride, and followed.

"Old Song, whose family are these two little kids? They're so handsome, chubby, and fair-skinned. They look even better than the factory manager's grandson." The middle-aged man who had been chatting with Uncle Song earlier stared at Qianbao and Yaobao, unable to look away.

Uncle Song said proudly, "It's mine!"

"Yours?" The speaker's tone rose sharply, filled with disbelief, and he looked at Song Yuncheng behind him, exclaiming in astonishment, "Yuncheng, is this your child?"

Song Yuncheng had just stepped onto the last step of the second floor when he heard this and almost fell straight down.

"No, I don't have a partner, I'm not married, and I don't have children!" He spoke quickly, as if afraid that if he hesitated even for a second, the news that he was unmarried and had a child would spread throughout the residential building.

Damn it, bad news travels fast.

We must take precautions.

Uncle Song was also stunned by his old friend's words and stood there for a full two seconds before saying, "They are my Zhao Zhao's children, twins."

"Twins? No wonder they look so alike. Your Zhaozhao is really good at having children." The middle-aged man's tone was both envious and complicated.

Uncle Song reluctantly took it as him praising Zhao Zhao.

"Where's Zhao Zhao? I haven't seen her." Most of the employees in the textile factory's residential building know Lin Zhao; they've practically watched her grow up.

"My sister is behind me." Song Yuncheng wouldn't allow anyone to gossip about his sister; not even a single word could be allowed. He wanted to nip it all in the bud.

"Oh, I see. It's been years since I've seen her."

Uncle Song said, "That's because you missed it. My Zhaozhao came just now..."

His old friend didn't want to listen anymore and turned to leave.

It's not that he doesn't give Lao Song face; in fact, he's said it too many times. He keeps talking about how his Zhao Zhao came to see him, what she brought him, how filial she is, and how she cares about him as her uncle. He said she didn't come a few years ago because she was busy with her wedding... blah blah blah.

Don't want to hear it.

That's enough!

Uncle Song, still wanting more, shut up and muttered, "So calculating!"

Then, in a voice, he said, "Qianbao, Yaobao, we'll be there after just one more floor. Come on, let your great-uncle lead you."

The twins wouldn't let anyone hold their hands. It was the first time the brother and sister had seen stairs, and they were incredibly curious, so they wanted to climb them themselves.

Yao Bao held the cloth tiger in her left hand and grabbed the handrail with her right hand to climb the stairs. She raised her short, white right leg, landed steadily, and with a swaying effort, stood up on the stairs.

Qianbao also went up with the ball in his hand.

The two siblings looked at Uncle Song with bright, proud eyes, feeling a great sense of accomplishment.

Uncle Song immediately understood, "Great job!"

The little dumpling grinned and continued crawling.

Song Yunjin saw her brother return from the third floor. She waited for the twins for a long time but they didn't come up. She couldn't wait any longer and ran downstairs.

At the corner of the stairs, I saw two children.

“Third baby, fourth baby, how did you manage to crawl by yourselves? Come here, let your little uncle carry you.” Song Yunjin bent down to carry Yaobao, but she pushed him away, “By yourselves, by yourselves.”

The little dumpling said "itself" twice.

Song Yunjin regretfully withdrew her hand. "Alright then, do it yourself. Do you want me to get the cloth tiger for you?"

"No, no." Two more soft refusals.

Song Yunjin didn't laugh, but she couldn't force the two kids, so she could only watch helplessly.

So he became another person watching the two little ones climb the stairs.

at last.

The twins climbed up.

Not satisfied with climbing to the third floor, they ran towards the stairs leading to the fourth floor.

Song Yunjin quickly pulled them back, "Third son, fourth son, our home is on the third floor!"

The twins stopped and looked back at him.

Two adorable, baby-faced children looked at her, and Song Yunjin felt a surge of joyful excitement, wishing she could give them her favorite things.

He pointed to the left and said, "Our house needs to go this way."

Neither Qianbao nor Yaobao are stubborn; they listen to advice and didn't make a fuss about going up to the fourth floor. They obediently walked over.

The two little ones walked ahead, looking around curiously, their dark eyes full of wonder.

Someone went to the communal kitchen to boil water and saw two incredibly cute children as soon as they stepped outside. "Wow, what adorable kids! Whose are they?"

Her shout drew a crowd, and doors opened as men, women, and children peeked out.

"It really is! Whose kid is this? He's so handsome." Seeing Uncle Song, he asked in surprise, "Old Song, is this your kid?"

Fearing that these people would associate it with him again, Song Yuncheng quickly said, "My sister's child."

"It's Zhao Zhao." The woman looked closely at the twins and smiled, "They look like Zhao Zhao, just as beautiful as she was when she was little. Where's your sister? I haven't seen her."

"What happens next? We'll be here in a bit," Song Yuncheng said.

The woman went back into the house to get some candy and stuffed it into the hands of the twins, saying, "Here, my good little ones, have some candy."

Qianbao and Yaobao didn't take it, and looked up at their great-uncle.

The two siblings are clever; they know who is the oldest.

Uncle Song smiled broadly, "Go ahead and accept it."

The twins took the candy and said thank you in their childish voices.

The man added, "Such a young child, yet he can say thank you. He's just as sweet-talking as Zhao Zhao."

Others laughed, "She looks just like Zhao Zhao. Zhao Zhao was also very sweet-talking when she was little."

"I remember when Zhao Zhao was a little over five years old, I was frying meat strips, and she ran over and praised me for being so pretty. Her little voice was so sweet! I couldn't resist giving her two meat strips. Then she said, 'Auntie, your fried meat strips smell so good! Can I have another one?' Zhao Zhao wanted one for each of her brothers. She was so well-behaved, what could I say? I could only give them to her." This was a neighbor of the Song family. The two families had a good relationship, and they would share a small bowl of whatever delicious food the other family made.

The images she described flashed through the minds of her neighbors, and they couldn't help but laugh.

"Haha, a few kind words cost you three strips of meat, Xiao Zhaozhao is so clever."

"She was very clever when she was little; no one older than her could outdo her!"

Aunt Song came out after hearing the commotion. When she saw the little dumpling, she was delighted and asked with a big laugh, "Is this the third and fourth child?"

Too beautiful.

Song Yuncheng said, "They're not called 'Third Child' or 'Fourth Child' anymore. They have formal names now: Gu Zhiqian and Gu Zhiyao. Mom, you have to call them Qianbao and Yaobao."

Otherwise, the two little ones will frown.

Aunt Song greeted them warmly, "Qianbao, Yaobao."

Yao Bao grabbed one of Song Yunjin's fingers and looked at her with unfamiliar eyes.

Seeing that Yao Bao trusted her, Song Yunjin smiled so broadly her face almost popped out. "Don't be afraid, this is your aunt, she's not a bad person. She and your uncle who gave you the cloth tiger are a couple."

Aunt Song looked helpless, thinking to herself, how could such a young child understand?

But I didn't expect it.

Yao Bao took two steps forward, raised her little face with a sweet smile, and called out in her soft little voice, "Grandma."

Aunt Song was taken aback, her eyes inexplicably warm. She picked up the little dumpling and said in a cheerful and enthusiastic voice, "Hey, your aunt will take you home."

Yao Bao's eyes flashed with nervousness. Seeing her brother following, she quietly patted her chest and a shy smile appeared on her lips.

The adorable baby was taken away, and the neighbors in the apartment building were not happy about it.

"Yun Jin's mom, you're so stingy. It won't hurt to let us take a few more glances."

"Yes, I also want my daughter-in-law to hold these two kids, so that my family can have such well-behaved and adorable grandchildren."

……

Aunt Song exchanged pleasantries with her neighbors, saying, "We'll see later. The child didn't even have a sip of water on the way here. Zhao Zhao's family is here this afternoon, so everyone has time to see her."

Hearing her say that, everyone in the hallway dispersed and went home.

The Song family was unfamiliar with Qianbao and Yaobao. After the two children entered, they looked around curiously. They were used to seeing the world, and entering the Song family felt like being locked in a box.

However, the siblings were too eager to explore to make a fuss about going out.

The Song brothers each held a baby and placed them on the sofa.

The twins' eyes lit up as their bottoms touched the soft stool.

"Soft."

They said it in unison.

Yao Bao's voice was soft, while Qian Bao remained calm.

"Do you like the sofa?" Song Yuncheng sat down next to Qianbao.

Qianbao didn't seem to like or dislike him; she just looked at him quietly without saying a word.

"I like it." Yao Bao smiled sweetly, pressed her chubby little hand on the sofa, and whispered, "Mommy likes it."

The little girl remembered that her mother complained the stool was too hard. Aunt Song smiled and hugged her, "Yes, your mother likes sofas."

Thinking of Zhao Zhao's childhood, her eyes were full of smiles. "When your mother was little, she loved the sofa at home the most. She would lie on it as soon as she got home from school."

Song Yuncheng also recalled, "I remember my sister was fierce and domineering. If Yunjin and I got into trouble, she wouldn't let us sit on the sofa. She would make us sit on hard stools for a whole week."

His buttocks almost developed calluses from sitting so much.

Uncle Song prepared the formula for the twins, glanced at him, and said, "You two are too naughty and don't deserve to sit on the sofa. I'm giving your sister the right. If you want to blame someone, blame me."

“How could that be?” Song Yuncheng said. “What’s so strange about it? My sister didn’t do anything wrong. Yunjin and I acknowledge it.”

He used a slingshot to shoot people, almost hitting one in the eye. His sister deserved to punish him, and he accepted it.

Uncle Song placed the enamel mug on the table and said to Qianbao and Yaobao, "Your grandpa made you some milk powder, you can drink it in a little while."

milk powder?

The twins were indeed thirsty. Yao Bao looked at her brother with a puzzled expression, "Brother, the milk bottle?"

"Mommy has the bottle. Wait for Mommy to come," Qianbao calmly coaxed his younger sister.

Yao Bao turned her little head, stared at the door, and called out, "Mommy, Mommy."

Qianbao imitated his mother, patted his younger sister's head, and continued to coax her, "Mommy will be here soon."

The two little ones are so cute, Uncle Song and Aunt Song are already looking forward to having grandchildren.

Uncle Song then took out some mung bean cakes that he had asked someone to make, gave one to each of the twins, and said with a smile, "Eat mung bean cakes."

Considering his niece's twins were small, he asked the person to make them very small, with a crispy outer layer and a sandy mung bean filling inside, so that Qianbao and Yaobao could also try them.

Since it was something the twins had never eaten before, Qianbao and Yaobao happily took it and quietly started eating. When they tasted the sweet flavor, their eyes lit up.

"Yuncheng, go pick up Yubao and Hengbao. Yunjin, keep a close eye on Qianbao and Yaobao, make sure they don't choke. I'll go make some tea," Uncle Song said.

Song Yuncheng felt it was unnecessary, but he didn't argue with his agitated father. He grabbed the car keys, opened the door, and went out.

I had just come downstairs and hadn't even unlocked my bicycle when I heard Lin Zhao's voice.

"Yun Cheng, where are you going again?"

Song Yuncheng immediately gave up on unlocking the device, stood up straight, and said, "My dad told me to pick up Yu Bao and Heng Bao."

"?"

Hengbao ran towards Uncle Yuncheng, stood on tiptoe, and tried to pat his shoulder. But as you can imagine, even if he jumped up, he couldn't reach him. So he had to settle for patting his uncle's arm instead.

"Uncle, my brother and I are here, you don't need to greet us!"

Song Yuncheng took the things from his brother-in-law's hands, smiling helplessly, "Thank you."

Hengbao waved his hand in the same manner as his grandfather, sounding incredibly old-fashioned, "You're welcome."

Song Yuncheng pinched his cheek, "Let's go home and eat mung bean cakes. Qianbao and Yaobao are eating them right now."

The twins had never eaten mung bean cakes before, and they were immediately looking forward to it; they were hungry after walking for a while.

The group went upstairs.

Lin Zhao asked, "Where did these mung bean cakes come from?"

"How else could it be? Old Song had someone make it, specially for the four kids. Not only were there mung bean cakes, but he also made milk powder. When I came out, he went to make tea. I guess it was for you and your brother-in-law. Yun Jin and I don't have that kind of luck." Song Yuncheng kept an eye on Yu Bao and Heng Bao's feet while answering.

The tea his sister gave him, neither he nor Yun Jin saw a single tea leaf.

Lin Zhao raised the corners of her mouth, "How come I didn't know you liked tea? If you do, I can buy you a can."

With Gu Chenghuai gone and her husband at home, she wasn't in the mood for the lottery. After all, men are very perceptive; if they win something good, they can't bring it out without a good name.

Forget it.

Let's behave ourselves for half a month first.

"What kind of tea?" Song Yuncheng asked bluntly.

"What do you like, chrysanthemum tea or green tea?" Lin Zhao asked.

Song Yuncheng had tried chrysanthemum tea before and didn't like it much, so he said, "I want green tea."

"Okay, I'll get it and send it to you." Lin Zhao made a note of it.

The lucky draw wheel has several thousand points, enough to spin around, and you're bound to get a green tea (a rare character in the game).

Song Yuncheng laughed out loud, "Thank you, sister."

After the adults finished speaking, Hengbao asked, "Mom, are the mung bean cakes delicious?"

Lin Zhao had never eaten mung bean cakes, only mung bean pastries. She thought they should all be the same: "They're just pastries made from mung beans, sweet and with a mung bean flavor."

"Is it delicious?" Yu Bao asked.

"It's delicious."

The twins climbed the stairs faster.

We soon arrived at the third floor.

"Yu Bao Heng Bao, turn left!" Song Yuncheng commanded.

The two kids went to the left.

Didn't take a few steps.

Song Yuncheng then said, "Stop, knock on the door."

Without saying a word, Hengbao knocked on the door. When he touched the door, he found it was open. Instead of barging in, he tentatively called out, "Qianbao, Yaobao?"

"Second Brother!" Yao Bao slid off the sofa and ran towards the door.

She opened the door and her eyes crinkled with joy the moment she saw her second brother.

Raise your right hand and show Hengbao the small amount of mung bean cake on your fingertip.

"Look, sweetie."

When Aunt Song saw the twins outside the door, she thought the two brothers looked really alike and greeted them, "Are you Yu Bao and Heng Bao? Come in quickly, your aunt will get you some mung bean cakes."

The twins entered the house and looked around curiously.

Song Yunjin pulled him to sit down.

Feeling something soft under her bottom, Yu Bao whispered to her younger brother, "Heng Bao, this stool is soft!!"

Hengbao nodded, "I noticed that too."

The two brothers whispered to each other. Song Yuncheng put the things his sister and brother-in-law had brought on the cabinet, held up the live chicken, and looked troubled. "Mom, where should we put this chicken?"

Aunt Song gave each of the twins a mung bean cake. When she noticed what Lin Zhao and Gu Chenghuai had brought, she scolded them, "Zhao Zhao, Chenghuai, you're here, but why did you bring so much stuff? You even brought a chicken!"

Gu Chenghuai said calmly, "After Zhaozhao and I got married, I haven't been here many times for various reasons. Since it's a rare occasion, I can't come empty-handed."

"There's no need to bring so much. You two have practically emptied your own house." Aunt Song didn't know what to do.

She knew that Zhao Zhao's family had moved back to the Gu family's old house, and she herself didn't raise chickens. These chickens must have been taken from the Gu family. She hoped they hadn't caused her any trouble.

"Yu Bao and Heng Bao, tell me, is our house empty?" Lin Zhao asked the twins who were eating mung bean cakes.

"No time!" the two brothers said in unison.

Lin Zhao took her aunt's arm and sat down. "Don't worry, Aunt, I know what I'm doing."

At this moment, Uncle Song walked in.

Upon entering the house, his gaze first fell on his daughter Zhao Zhao before slowly shifting to Gu Chenghuai.

“Here I am,” he said.

Lin Zhao's voice was light and cheerful, "Uncle!"

Gu Chenghuai stood up and called out, "Uncle."

"No need to be so polite, we're family. Please sit down," Uncle Song said, as he found cups and poured tea for them.

Gu Chenghuai silently offered his help.

Seeing that he was capable and not the type to sit around acting like a big shot, Uncle Song was somewhat satisfied with his nephew-in-law.

He only had one requirement for his nephew-in-law: to treat Zhaozhao well, unconditionally well.

Seeing the slightly awkward atmosphere, Aunt Song smiled and said, "Old Song, Zhao Zhao and Cheng Huai brought a chicken. What do you think we should do with it?"

"We'll kill the chicken and stew it later, then we'll all eat together," Uncle Song said.

Song Yunjin was overjoyed, "We want to eat chicken! That's great!"

Even if he doesn't get the chicken leg, he'll still be happy eating the chicken butt.

The living room fan was whirring, and it was still hot inside because of the many people. Uncle Song sent his two sons away, "Yuncheng, Yunjin, you two take the four kids downstairs to buy ice cream."

"Okay." The Song brothers agreed and led Yu Bao and the others downstairs.

The place to buy ice cream wasn't far from the family dormitory, so Lin Zhao wasn't worried.

Just then, she was about to talk about Fourth Brother, and the children had to leave.
