Chapter 329 The Great Migration

Chapter 329 The Great Migration

The words are divided into two parts.

Feng Xiuhu dragged Mike out of the city, but before they had gone far in the direction Mike pointed out, they heard a faint rumbling sound.

Feng Xiuhu looked down and saw the sand trembling slightly.

Mike, still confused, asked, "What's that noise?"

Feng Xiuhu immediately became alert. Without time to explain, he grabbed Mike and the two of them darted into the shadows and up to the treetops by the roadside.

This scene nearly made Mike scream. Now a shadow, he frantically groped around on his body, crying out, "My hands! My body!"

Feng Xiuhu's shadow covered his mouth: "Shh! Look over there."

Mike looked as instructed and saw billowing dust at the end of the road, a massive and imposing sight, but he couldn't make out any figures within. He instinctively lowered his voice and whispered, "Could it be...?"

Feng Xiuhu stared at the other side with a solemn expression: "It should be right...it's the Great Migration of Wild Animals."

Mike turned his head in shock: "Huh?"

Feng Xiuhu said disdainfully, "Haven't you ever watched Animal World?"

Mike fell silent, not because he was speechless, but because the main force of the Divine Guard, which was employing a surprise attack tactic, was almost upon them.

Several chariots led the way, and the entire army marched menacingly down the main road, heading straight for the sail city.

Only after the army had marched away triumphantly did Mike finally dare to speak, his tone filled with worry: "Even the main force has been mobilized, I wonder if they can stop the evil god this time..."

"They're not going to fight an evil god."

Feng Xiuhu shook his head: "Let's go."

He had just searched carefully, but there was no sign of Shunzi among the main force—not to mention that Shunzi's physique was already conspicuous, and now that he had been promoted to guard officer, his armor was different from that of ordinary Divine Guards, so he was not difficult to find.

Feng Xiuhu pulled Mike along, and the two jumped down from the tree.

Mike came to his senses and recalled what had just happened. He looked at Feng Xiuhu with suspicion and asked, "How did you do that? If I'm not mistaken, it must have been a trick of the Church of the Night."

"Don't ask what you shouldn't ask."

Feng Xiuhu shut him down with a single sentence.

Mike shut up, suppressing his curiosity, and continued following Feng Xiuhu.

Feng Xiuhu overlooked one thing—Mike was just a weak priest, and running a marathon was really too much for him.

The two ran for a short while, but Mike was too exhausted to stand up and collapsed on the ground, panting.

Having no other choice, Feng Xiuhu had to invoke the Shadow Authority again, dragging Mike forward.

After transforming into a shadow to travel, his speed increased dramatically, but Feng Xiuhu's magical power was being rapidly depleted.

Fortunately, Mike managed to stop him before his magic ran out.

Mike pointed ahead and said, "This is Feiquan'ao."

Feng Xiuhu gazed at the undulating mountains and forests ahead and fell silent—with such a vast area, where should he even begin to search?

Mike spread his hands: "I've never been to the camp either, so we'll just have to take our chances from here on out."

Feng Xiuhu looked down and said, "No need."

There were large footprints on the ground—the traces of the Divine Guard Army's expedition were impossible to conceal.

Following the footprints, a path, worn into the ground, stretches deep into the mountains and forests.

The two continued deeper into the road.

After another long trek, still without seeing any sign of the camp, Feng Xiuhu and Mike suddenly felt a tremor under their feet, which quickly disappeared.

A deep rumble came from afar, startling a large flock of birds overhead into flight.

Feng Xiuhu and Mike exchanged a glance.

Mike hunched over, looking around: "What happened now?"

Feng Xiuhu said confidently, "This is definitely a great migration of wild animals."

Mike exclaimed in surprise, "You mean there's also the Divine Guard?"

Shi said, "I sensed a rhythmic pattern; it must be not far from here."

Feng Xiuhu replied, "Then it's definitely not a straight. A straight has nothing to do with rules and rhythm."

Mike asked, "Are you talking to me?"

Shi had a different opinion: "It must be that the magic array has been activated, and the descent passage connects to the divine kingdom. The appearance of the divine kingdom may cause the rhythm of the rules."

Feng Xiuhu suddenly realized: "Which direction?"

Shi shouted, "West!" Ignoring Mike's still confused state, Feng Xiuhu grabbed him by the collar, turned into a shadow, and darted straight into the woods to the west.

Mike yelled, "Where are we going now?!"

Just minutes after the tremor, as they moved at high speed, Shi seemed to suddenly sense something and shouted in Feng Xiuhu's mind, "Wait!"

Feng Xiuhu immediately stopped in his tracks, tensing up as he surveyed his surroundings: "What's wrong?"

Without saying a word, Shi walked out directly from behind Feng Xiuhu.

This horrifying scene terrified Mike. He pointed behind Feng Xiuhu and was about to scream when Feng Xiuhu anticipated his move and covered his mouth.

Feng Xiuhu didn't have time to argue with Mike about coughing; instead, he stared nervously at Shi.

Shi never shows himself in front of outsiders; he wouldn't do so unless something truly serious has happened.

At this moment, Eclipse appeared very agitated. He paced back and forth incessantly, occasionally raising his head to sniff the air, and letting out a low growl from his throat.

"wrong."

A fierce light flashed in Shi's eyes, as if he had encountered some problem.

"This rhythm... is not like the kingdom of gods."

Mike couldn't hold back any longer and shouted, "It's talking! The tiger is talking! Mist—am I dreaming?"

Feng Xiuhu took a newsboy cap out of his pocket and stuffed it into Mike's mouth, saying to Shi in an unfriendly tone, "Not the Kingdom of God? You mean I've come all this way and still gotten lost?"

"Ho..."

Feng Xiuhu, baring his sharp teeth, said, "This feeling is far more dangerous than the Divine Kingdom..."

Enraged, Feng Xiuhu jumped over, grabbed the two rotten teeth, and yelled at him, "Shunzi! I'm looking for Shunzi! Don't give me any other excuses!"

The words have not yet fallen.

Boom!
The ground suddenly shook.

The three of them looked into the distance.

"Again?"

Feng Xiuhu tilted his head.

I just finished saying this.

Boom! !

Another, even more violent tremor struck, causing Feng Xiuhu to lose his balance and fall to the ground with a thud.

He patted his backside as he stood up, rolled up his sleeves, and said, "Aren't you done yet?!"

Mike was drawn by the commotion and walked to a slightly sparser part of the woods a short distance away.

He looked up and froze on the spot: "What, what is that..."

Feng Xiuhu followed, and when he looked up, he was stunned: "My God! What a huge hole!"

The forest was so dense that the canopy of trees blocked out the sky, so neither of them noticed the strange phenomenon in the sky until they got closer and realized what was happening.

"That is the passage to descent."

Erosion strode over, its fierce tiger eyes gazing into the distance—as if trying to see through the dense forest to something more important to it.

Just as Feng Xiuhu realized he had wronged Shi again and felt somewhat embarrassed, Mike suddenly exclaimed again, "Look! Someone is flying in the sky!"

Feng Xiuhu quickly focused his gaze and saw figures rushing towards the center of the misty vortex.

Feng Xiuhu's expression hardened—because he noticed that these people were wearing the armor of the guards.

But no matter how many times they looked, they still couldn't find Shunzi.

"Is it only straights that can't fly?"

he muttered to himself.

Just then, an even more violent tremor came from beneath their feet.

Feng Xiuhu and Mike lost their balance and were thrown to the ground.

The tremors were so intense that Feng Xiuhu was unable to get up. He grabbed Shi's tail and struggled to his feet, only to find Shi staring blankly at the sky.

Feng Xiuhu followed the gaze.

It turned out to be a "hill" rising from the ground.
