My childhood sweetheart is Nishimiya Glass
Chapter 336 Next April?
Chapter 336 Next April?
After confirming that everything was alright, Tsuna pushed open the door.
hum-
The high-decibel noise in the corridor seemed to be turned off almost entirely, and the world inside the door was like another world. Tsuna felt that the air seemed clearer and quieter.
The two tiptoed inside and found that it wasn't empty, but rather that there were few people scattered around.
“Look at this blue…”, “Doesn’t it look like…?”, “I don’t understand…” The voice was so muffled that only a few words could be grasped, as if through a veil.
"Senior Xue?"
The girl who was called turned around in confusion and looked towards the door. Only after recognizing Shoko and Tsuna did she walk towards them.
The heels made a "tap, tap" sound when they hit the wooden floor.
"Miyagi-senpai, it's been a long time."
"haven't seen you for a long time."
Miyagi Yuki smiled and nodded at him, while Tsuna bowed slightly.
"Senpai Yuki, what are you doing here? Didn't you go to the school festival?" In the quiet atmosphere, Shoko's voice became a little softer.
Miyagi Yuki led the two towards the artwork area, explaining as they walked:
"The minister said she had something urgent to attend to, and I saw that she was in a hurry, so I covered for her for a while until she came back."
The girl's high ponytail swayed gently in the wind, and her plain white dress was gently rippling like waves. Her words were filled with inexplicable doting affection.
Tsuna didn't join in the conversation between the two girls in front of him. He walked slowly and steadily, his gaze lingering on each of the exhibits.
Pedestrians brushed past each other, and colors and light flowed in the corners of their eyes.
Until a slightly familiar illustration caught his eye. Compared to the other works, it seemed a bit ordinary, but it made him stop in his tracks without hesitation.
The female protagonist in the painting is the same one from the light novel he will be releasing next April, and the name of the owner of this work is 'Nishimiya Shoko'.
"Miyamura-sensei, is this the heroine of your book after next?" Miyagi Yuki's voice seemed to hold a subtle glimmer of insight.
"Hmm...huh?"
Tsuna, slightly confused by the interruption, turned his head towards the sound. Just as his gaze focused, he met her slightly upturned lips.
“Hmm,” Tsuna snapped out of his brief daze and nodded readily to Miyagi Yuki, recognizing her decisively.
"She is indeed the female lead in the new book that will be released next April."
"Eh……?"
Upon hearing this, Miyagi Yuki looked at Shoko beside her in surprise, "Wouldn't Shoko reveal her identity as Nishimiya-sensei by painting this work?"
Before Shoko could speak, Tsuna waved his hand dismissively:
"That's all in April next year. Will anyone remember that the art club didn't even know what works were submitted for this year's school festival?"
Miyagi Yuki nodded, agreeing that it made sense, based on the memories of a high school student like Uo.
If someone asks about the art club's school festival exhibition next year, they might be surprised and ask in return:
"Huh!? The art club held an event at last year's school festival?!"
After walking around the classroom exhibition hall, all the works that should be appreciated and discussed were already in my mind and heart.
Tsuna and Shoko turned to Yuki Miyagi and said in unison, "Then we'll take our leave," before leaving the classroom hand in hand.
The moment he stepped out the door, a wave of heat hit him along with the sound, and Tsuna instinctively paused, a fleeting thought crossing his mind that he wanted to go back inside.
"Where should we start next?" Tsuna asked, looking at Shoko, who was half a head shorter than him.
"Shall we go take a look at the playground?"
“Okay.” When the two left the exhibition, it was just past 5:30. The once crowded corridors were mostly empty, and many classrooms had already closed.
"Shoko-kun, there seems to be a fortune-telling room over there. Do you want to go in and take a look?"
The two walked hand in hand past a dimly lit classroom, where Tsuna immediately noticed the tarot cards and crystal ball illuminated by the faint light.
"Back in junior high, I remember you loved going to the fortune-telling room, always asking about things like marriage. Now your marriage is settled,"
Tsuna nodded his chin toward the classroom, a smile spreading across his face. "Want to try something else? I think... it's pretty accurate."
Shoko was still wondering why he had stopped when she heard that teasing remark. Her cheeks flushed, and she playfully pinched his arm before tugging at his sleeve and slipping away.
During her three years in junior high, she did indeed consult fortune tellers about her love life quite often, and most of the time, Tsuna was right there listening...

Pushing open the door leading to the playground, a cool breeze rushed in, instantly silencing the muffled noise inside the teaching building.
The sunlight was no longer the glaring midday sun, but a warm golden-red, lazily slanting across the playground.
The vendors on the playground weren't shouting as enthusiastically anymore. Most of them stood lazily against their stalls, only calling out a perfunctory "I can't breathe" when someone approached.
"Ah... Takoyaki... Only a few left..." "Apple candy... 500 yen each..." The voices were a little drawn out, carrying the fatigue of the day.
There were so few people that the two of them could almost catch their breath and could still see the outlines of the surrounding tents and the treetops in the distance.
"I wonder if Ayumi and the others are still here..."
Shoko spoke softly, her hand unconsciously tightening its grip, her gaze darting back and forth between the bustling crowd and the gradually closing shelves.
"Let's go, we'll look around as we go."
I hadn't walked more than a few steps when a female stall owner, wearing an apron and packing her goods into a box, looked up and asked, without much hope:
"Hey... want some oden? We're about to close up shop... can you give me a discount?" His voice sounded a little tired.
Gang glanced at the few remaining vegetarian dishes in her pot, shook his head, and the girl simply said "Oh" before continuing to clean up.
"Yes! What else is there?"
"..."
Tsuna and the girl with her head down both looked at Shoko who was speaking. He knew that it was probably too late to cover Shoko's mouth now.
"Bean curd sheets, konjac blocks, white radish, kelp, bamboo shoots, lotus root."
As the girl explained, Shoko got a general idea of the food in the pot; there was still a little bit of each item left.
After much deliberation, Shoko waved her hand dismissively, "Give me all of these, lots of them—"
Before she could finish speaking, Tsuna quickly covered her mouth and smiled apologetically at the girl opposite him, "There's so much glass, you can't finish it all!"
There's not much in the pot, enough for at most two people. Shoko can finish it all by herself, but only if there's meat in it...
"Uh huh...!"
Tsuna saw Shoko struggling to break free from his arms and trying to speak, but he just didn't want to give her the chance.
“300 yen, only 300 yen, I can pack all of these up for you,” the girl added at the end, “I’m in a hurry to close up shop.”
"Boom...!"
