Miss Heir wasn't very kind to me.
Postscript to Volume 3
Postscript to Volume 3
Hello everyone, I am Hana from Huainan
Thanks to the readers who have read this far. "The Heir Is Not Very Kind to Me" has actually been written to the third volume, all thanks to your support.
The main plot of the third volume (if it can be called a main plot) is the story of how everyone in Fanxing works together to run a seaside cafe in Kobe in the summer, leaving behind midsummer memories.
In addition, the appearance of a new character: ex-girlfriend Mio Kurokawa, also brought some changes to the coffee shop.
I wrote this postscript in March. Although spring is still far away in Northeast China, I believe that spring will eventually come.
This book has already reached over 30 words. It has been on the shelves for more than a month, and the subscription has increased from 200 to about 1100 now. I have to thank all the readers for their support. Although it is not an achievement worth mentioning, it is enough to support me to continue writing.
In addition, although I often worry about my poor writing skills when writing, after polishing hundreds of thousands of words, I have accumulated some writing experience.
If I wanted to write an "everyday" story when I wrote the first volume, then after completing the third volume, I can finally give a complete definition to this book.
I wanted to write an everyday story about someone going through a problem.
The word "daily" is often used to describe days that are unchanging, ordinary and lack ups and downs.
However, even if nothing major happens, and it's just ordinary day-to-day life, people's emotions will inevitably have ups and downs. I want to write about the joys, sorrows, anger, and inner conflicts within.
Experience problems refer to the problems of the customers who have visited the Starry Cafe in the past and in the future, or the passers-by that Masumi and others have met.
Actually, at the beginning, I really wanted to write a healing work like "The Convenience Store of Sorrow" and "The Compatible Object", and write a coffee shop that can solve people's worries and problems.
However, due to my limited writing skills and knowledge, I found that I could not do this. The author has not been good at speaking since childhood, and when interacting with others, he mostly plays the role of a listener.
When I was in high school, I once joined a club in school that helped students solve their problems (similar to the Service Club?) in order to help a female friend with her love life (a loser). (The president is the winner)
Although the troubles of adolescent students are not a big deal, I have also realized that there is an invisible wall in the heart that separates people. People with different wavelengths and different heart shapes cannot understand each other.
So I want to start writing by experiencing problems and not avoiding them. If I can accumulate enough experience, I want to write a story about "covering up problems" in my next book, until I write a book that can "solve problems."
A little vision.
That's a bit far.
Recently, I watched the anime "Sister's Life" on the recommendation of a friend who is also an otaku. I really like this kind of anime that lacks drama and strong dramatic tension. Instead, it focuses on the daily life of the hero and heroine, and gradually portrays their clear changes.
Perhaps this was my original intention when I typed the first word of this book.
I hope to create a book that does not have big emotional ups and downs, but after reading it, it will make people feel warm about the everyday story, just like the feeling that book once gave me.
Having written the third volume, have I been able to convey this feeling? Have any readers ever felt this way, even for a moment? If so, that would be wonderful.
In short, thank you again to all the readers who have been reading, thank you for every subscription, every monthly ticket and recommendation ticket, every comment, and every reward.
I hope to continue writing the postscripts for the fourth and fifth volumes.
