Chapter 548 Supporting the Show

After more than half a month of hard work, Xu Jiuyang finally finished filming at the Yellow River Stone Forest. It has to be said that Son Ye-jin is still somewhat inferior to Kim Hee-sun.

In terms of looks alone, they are equally matched, and Son Ye-jin may even have a slight edge, as she is younger.

However, judging solely from their portrayals of Yu Shu, Kim Hee-sun in my memory is slightly better; she is indeed more dignified and elegant.

But it doesn't matter. Xu Jiuyang, the male lead, is so young, not even 25 years old yet. If Yu Shu looks too old, it definitely won't be suitable.

Of course, when we go to South Korea to film again, Kim Hee-sun will have to be dressed up and pampered.

Next, they went to the Terracotta Army Museum for filming, and the male lead delivered his classic line: "No one can steal another country's cultural relics, put them in their own museum, and claim to be keeping them safe, but in reality, they are taking them for themselves. This is a shameful act."

It must be said that although Jackie Chan is a womanizer and likes to brag, and because of his lack of knowledge, he often speaks incoherently, he is impeccable when it comes to important matters.

Although it's uncertain whether he requested the script, he delivered it with a very righteous and stern tone.

However, the whole line was still a bit too long. Although it was very colloquial, it contained too much repetition. So Xu Jiuyang asked the screenwriter to make some adjustments here: "They stole cultural relics from another country, put them in their own museum, and then claimed they were helping to preserve them. Don't you think that's a bit shameless?"

After filming the scenes here, the crew returned to Beijing. Most of the scenes were filmed here. For example, the scene where Yu Shu takes care of the injured Meng Yi was filmed at the Ming Tombs, the scene where Yu Shu dances for Meng Yi was filmed at Yunmeng Mountain, and the scene where Yu Shu and Meng Yi walk back to the Great Wall on the border was filmed at Jinshanling.

As for the interior of the First Emperor's Mausoleum, it was naturally built in a film studio in Huairou. Compared to the original's modest style, this version is much more spacious due to its large budget. The distant parts will still be created using CG, but they will definitely be more extravagant than the original.

"It's all thanks to you." Sitting on a chair by the photography studio, Xu Jiuyang looked at the busy staff and said to Li Yunxin in a grateful tone.

“If spending a little more money can make Oppa happy, then of course it’s worth it.” Lee Yoon-hyung smiled serenely.

"The way you put it makes me sound like Bao Si (a notorious concubine in Chinese folklore)," Xu Jiuyang coughed lightly.

"Shouldn't I be the one to be called Bao Si?" Li Yunxin said very seriously.

“Theoretically speaking, yes, but in reality,” Xu Jiuyang looked towards the film set, “in their eyes, I am the one who is.”

Li Yunxin chuckled softly, seemingly pleased, and then nodded to the secretary on duty beside her.

Kim Tae-hee quickly brought Son Ye-jin over.

"Madam, sir." Son Ye-jin, unaware of what was going on, looked somewhat nervous.

"You've been the one serving me in bed lately, haven't you?" Li Yunxin asked directly.

“Yes, Madam,” Son Ye-jin replied with a bow.

"What positions did you use?" Li Yunxin asked again.

Son Ye-jin blushed slightly and glanced at Xu Jiuyang before finally answering honestly.

Xu Jiuyang hesitated to speak, even though Son Ye-jin avoided some keywords, the various allusions were still embarrassing. Lee Yoon-hyung, however, had a rare expression of interest, so even though he wanted to pick his toes, he didn't say anything.

"You've done a pretty good job. Keep it up, including Park Si-yeon," Lee Yoon-hyung said after listening.

"Yes, Madam." Son Ye-jin breathed a sigh of relief, bowed again, and then left.

"Should we call a few more over, Oppa?" Lee Yoon-hyung asked with a grin. "Jun Ji-hyun and Ha Ji-won can come visit the set."

"Alright," Xu Jiuyang flicked her forehead in an annoyed tone, "Let's not get involved in this anymore—how's the joint venture going?" Although the topic shift was a bit abrupt, Li Yunxin didn't mind: "It's being run by the other party; I'm just responsible for providing the money."

"Do you trust the other party that much?" Xu Jiuyang's eyes flickered.

“Of course,” Lee Yoon-hyung said with a slight smile, “After all, Oppa trusts them a lot.”

“Ah…yes,” Xu Jiuyang chuckled, “Everyone knows Liu Qianqian.”

What should I do if I feel like picking my toes again?
Fortunately, Lee Yoon-hyung changed the subject at that moment: "I'm going to hold a press conference in a few days. Does Oppa have any suggestions for the operation process?"

"Have I said everything I needed to say?" Xu Jiuyang thought carefully for a moment.

"Even so, there's still not much content. Can't Oppa make more third-party applications?"

"How can we just do more whenever we want?" Xu Jiuyang said, both amused and exasperated.

Li Yunxin didn't say anything more, but just cupped her face and tried to open her eyes as wide as possible when looking at him.

"Let me think about it, okay? Let me think about it," Xu Jiuyang could only say.

"Then I'll have to trouble you, Oppa." Lee Yoon-hyung's eyes crinkled into a smile as she leaned over and kissed him before leaving the set with Kim Tae-hee.

Xu Jiuyang touched the spot on his face where he had been kissed, then looked at the staff who were still busy and seemed not to have noticed him at all, and sighed helplessly.

I fear that after today, not only will his reputation as a gigolo living off women be firmly established on set, but Li Yunxin's image will also be tarnished.

She felt that doing this would clear her name, at least within the production crew. However, prejudice is a mountain; once people have made up their minds, they will only continue to reinforce them rather than completely reverse their thinking.

However, Li Yunxin probably doesn't care, so since she's already done it, there's no point in commenting. I should just think about how to fulfill her request.

In fact, with Xu Jiuyang's occasional reminders, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy phone will have significantly more playable content than the iPhone. At least several mini-games, such as Zuma and Candy Crush, will be pre-installed. Most people buy smartphones either to show off or to play games.

But Li Yunxin had already begged him and even came to the set to support him, so how could he refuse?

"As for Weibo... the network speed is too slow, it will probably take a long time to open it once..." Xu Jiuyang said to himself.

After playing with the prototype from Li Yunxin, he told Sister Xiaoli about his idea for Weibo, but it's still just on paper because his internet speed is too slow.

Although 3G networks have been around since 01, they were officially rolled out and put into use in China in 08. Many functions of smartphones require 3G network support, otherwise the speed would be too slow.

But then I thought about it again. People haven't experienced the benefits of 4G networks yet, so they don't have high demands for mobile internet speeds. They're just as happy using the internet capabilities of feature phones.

Although I own the Weibo domain name, I think it's better to secure the Weibo account first if possible. So I'm making a simplified version and then doing a major upgrade once 3G is rolled out.

Of course, this idea still needs to be discussed with Sister Xiaoli and Yunxin separately. Judging from Yunxin's reaction today, she probably already guessed his relationship with Sister Xiaoli, but did not confront Sister Xiaoli about it.

If she knows, then it's only a matter of time before Yuanyuan and the others find out. So how will they react? Especially after they learn about Yangyang's existence?

Xu Jiuyang, whose mind was racing with ideas, suddenly frowned. Just now, he had come up with a money-making idea, a money-making idea involving 20 billion US dollars!
