Chapter 545 Pretty Boy?
It's normal for Xu Jiuyang to think this way. Although he has acted in four TV series and two movies and won the Best Actor award at the Cannes Film Festival, he has basically no interaction with the Hong Kong entertainment circle.

Unfortunately, the script for "The Myth" was purchased from Tang Jili, and it was a co-production between South Korea and Hong Kong, with Yuen Woo-ping as the action choreographer.

Although the male lead mostly does parkour in the modern scenes, there are still many fight scenes in the ancient scenes.

As a result, the Hong Kong staff members on the production team would inevitably subconsciously think that the male lead should be played by someone from Hong Kong.

Even if they don't use Hong Kong actors, they should at least use South Korean actors. After all, South Korea is the financial backer, a modern country, and a dumping ground for Hong Kong films—well, it used to be.

So this person is the villain who stole the opportunity that originally belonged to the Hong Kong actor. In this situation, given the chance, of course we should teach this person a lesson.

As it turned out, Xu Jiuyang was overthinking things. After a week on set, everyone treated him with great courtesy, including Master Yuan.

"At the preparatory meeting, Madam clearly warned everyone that this film was made for Mr. [Son's name]." This is what Son Ye-jin said when she brought Park Si-yeon to serve him in bed.

"...It's alright." Xu Jiuyang sighed after holding back for a while.

Fortunately, I don't attend every preparatory meeting myself; otherwise, being told something like that in person would be incredibly embarrassing.

However, on the other hand, if I were there, Yunxin definitely wouldn't have said that; she always knows how to behave appropriately.

Regardless, with the big investor making such a statement, given the Hong Kong entertainment circle's tendency to bully the weak and fear the strong, they naturally wouldn't dare to provoke him. However, rumors should already be circulating within the circle that he's a gigolo living off women.

It's quite interesting. In the past, in various film crews, the rumors were that he was a scumbag who philandered everywhere, and the worst ones were male prostitutes. This is the first time that Xiao Bailong has ever been a gigolo.

Xu Jiuyang then glanced at Park Si-yeon and said, "Starting tomorrow, the two of you will stay by my side."

"Okay, sir!"

"Okay, master!"

Son Ye-jin remained calm, while Park Si-yeon was visibly nervous, and the latter's eyes visibly brightened.

The inconsistency in the way she was addressed indicated that she had not yet tasted the food, and now that she finally had the chance, she was naturally happy and even longing for it.

Clearly, Son Ye-jin and the others have done a lot of brainwashing for her.

But when Xu Jiuyang asked her to perform a talent, she couldn't get into the zone, kept making small mistakes, and seemed a bit nervous.

“She feels like she’s falling behind,” Son Ye-jin whispered to Seo Goo-yang.

Based on his current understanding of Koreans, he can basically understand instantly that, given the clear class distinctions, below Lee Yoon-hyung, the highest-ranking person is Secretary Sam-Kim, followed by the maid group.

However, since the maids are all Japanese and directly under Lee Yoon-hyung, they are not included in the count. So, the next three are Jun Ji-hyun, Son Ye-jin, and Ha Ji-won.

Then came Park Si-yeon and Chae Rim, who were signed later. As for the four women, including Kim Hee-sun, whom someone had previously enjoyed in Korea, they were completely unprofessional and belonged entirely to the category of those whose names start with the letter D.

Although the two of them are not as good as the first three, their status is still above the last four. However, they are lagging behind in important matters, so it is understandable that they are anxious.

Now that he finally has a chance to make amends, he's naturally eager to do better, so it's normal to make mistakes in the rush. Xu Jiuyang, understanding the situation, could only inwardly cry out in injustice: "The harem is so vast, how am I supposed to know what you're thinking if you don't take the initiative!"
Regardless, Park Si-yeon made a few minor mistakes, but overall she performed well, especially after getting into a certain routine, not to mention that Son Ye-jin helped push her PG.

However, when they sat with him the next day, they didn't attract much attention; most people remained respectful.

Of course, the staff in Hong Kong are different from those in South Korea. The former simply keep their distance, while the latter are more obsequious. Although Choi Dong-hoon didn't do things like asking for instructions in the morning and reporting at night, he still had the assistant director come over from time to time to ask for someone's opinion.

What could Xu Jiuyang do? He could only say "okay, okay, okay." After all, he wasn't a director, and now that film and digital were being used simultaneously, it was impossible for him to see the specific effects on the monitor, so whatever.

The scenes in Hengdian are not many; they mainly involve painting for Yu Shu and then Meng Yi's duel with the Goryeo general—the Indian scenes were cut, so the Goryeo scenes had to be used to make up for it.

This makes the story of Goryeo sending a princess more convincing.

The actor who plays the Goryeo general is Jung Woo-sung, the same guy who was supposed to be the cool guy in the original "Reign of Assassins". In "The Myth", he not only plays the Goryeo general who fights with Meng Yi, but also plays the male lead Meng Yi's assistant in Korea in the modern drama.

It must be said that the professionalism of Koreans is indeed unquestionable. Jung Woo-sung, a former model, doesn't have much experience in action scenes. Although he participated in the filming of the Sino-Korean co-production "The Warrior," that was several years ago.

However, after three months of targeted training, although he couldn't match Xu Jiuyang, he still fought quite well. With the help of his stunt double and Xu Jiuyang, he earned high praise from Master Yuan, who designed the action scene.

Indeed, in China, on the mainland, even a minor celebrity, as long as they are willing to swallow their pride and do commercial performances in the western region, can earn millions a year. They can live very well without having to get involved in such activities.

Needless to say, as long as the head doesn't collapse, he can put on airs and still have people supporting him, so he doesn't need to work as hard as Koreans to improve himself.

Xu Jiuyang himself is a good example. Although he missed countless opportunities in his previous life and later went behind the scenes, he still managed to buy a house and settle down in the capital because he got involved early.

Putting that aside, Jung Woo-sung, like other Korean staff members, is extremely respectful to a certain person, yet he is also very dedicated during performances, even shouting when he needs to. Such contradictory behavior... no wonder Koreans have distorted personalities.

After filming in Hengdian, the crew moved to the Yellow River Stone Forest in Jingtai, Gansu Province, where they will shoot scenes of Meng Yi picking up Yu Shu and fighting against the pursuing Goryeo general, as well as Meng Yi being killed by Zhao Kuang after obtaining the elixir.

Then they went to the Terracotta Army Museum to film the scene where Meng Yi hands over the national treasures. Although the crew couldn't rely on connections like Jackie Chan to film anywhere in India, they could still film at the Terracotta Army Museum thanks to the Sino-Korean co-production project and Samsung's investment.

In fact, filming in India is not a problem; Lee Yoon-hyung has no shortage of money.

But it wasn't necessary. Jackie Chan's version of "The Myth" went to India to showcase his status as an international superstar; the plot was completely superfluous.

This version is now a Sino-Korean co-production, a friendly project between the two countries, so transferring the Indian storyline to South Korea is perfectly normal.

Filming here, the environment, etc., can't compare to Hengdian, especially the marching scenes, where we basically had to stay outdoors.

However, the logistics were also top-notch, with several RVs that are still relatively rare at the moment, and it was obvious who put this together.

Xu Jiuyang didn't hesitate. He was already a kept man, so what if he had a motorhome to take care of him while filming?
Moreover, not only was he served in a motorhome, but he was also served by beautiful women. Son Ye-jin and Park Si-yeon stayed with him every night, and they even entered the motorhome in front of the crew.

Although no one said anything, it's unknown whether anyone secretly reported it to Lee Yoon-hyung.
