Chapter 6 The Kidnapped Policewoman
Chapter 6 The Kidnapped Policewoman
He looked at the light in the forest where the police car had crashed into the tree.
After climbing a short slope, at the edge of the bushes, he saw the orange light from the remaining headlight of the police car and a man in a black robe bending over beside the police car.
He seemed to be doing something to Mark.
Luo Ye's first thought was about his service gun, but when he touched it, he found an empty holster.
He then remembered that the pistol had fallen somewhere in the forest.
Luo Ye tiptoed over, getting as close as possible without making any sound, while trying to retrieve the strange pistol.
The pistol looks a bit like the old Soviet Union's "Snake" pistol.
But there are a lot of dead branches in the forest, and if you are not careful, they will make some noise.
However, Luo Ye was able to move silently.
He climbed up the dense branches of a large pine tree nearby and looked down from above.
The man stood next to the police car and grabbed a transparent rectangular glass bottle from his right pocket.
There was a row of vents on the glass bottle, and inside was a thing that looked exactly like the spider that crawled out of Luo Ye's mouth.
It has a white, round back, slender black and red legs, and a smooth body without a single hair, like a small white meat ball.
The man opened the lid of the glass bottle, and the spider fell steadily on Mark's face.
The face of this spider is surprisingly similar to that of a human, and its facial features come together to form a strange smile.
When Luo Ye saw this, he almost fell from the tree. He immediately understood that the thing crawling out of the esophagus was the white thing in the man's test tube.
The carriage blocked his view, so Luo Ye climbed up quietly. After climbing three meters, he was able to witness the entire process.
The man pried open Mark's mouth and poured the spider on Mark's face, and the spider crawled into Mark's mouth.
Ten minutes later, the man took out the bottle of red liquid from his pocket, tilted Mark's body, twisted his neck to one side, and then carefully poured a little liquid into each bullet hole.
He continued to observe.
Luo Ye was also observing with great interest, without blinking.
After smoking half a cigarette, Sheriff Mark moved his right hand fingers and his eyes suddenly opened!
Luo Ye, who was hanging on the tree, was so frightened that he almost fell down.
Could it be that the man wanted to turn Mark into a zombie, or wanted to change his genetic sequence to turn him into a monster that was neither human nor ghost and control him? Thinking about what had just happened to him, Luo Ye broke out in a cold sweat. Fortunately, he spit out the spider in his mouth.
Mark looked at the man with crazy, fierce eyes, and deep doubts.
After a while, his eyes slowly closed with extreme reluctance.
The man repeated the action and poured all the remaining red liquid into the two bullet holes.
Mark opened his eyes again, his eyes were only dazed. He looked at the man and slowly closed his eyes again, this time willingly, as if he was falling asleep naturally because he was extremely sleepy.
A satisfied smile stretched along the three deep wrinkles at the corners of the man's eyes.
He pulled his hood down, revealing a shoe-rake face covered in black hair.
This face has a severely protruding jawbone, a broad forehead, and thick lips, but his ears are as small as two butterflies, tightly attached to the sides of his head. His scalp, without a single hair, stands up like a sharp sword.
Luo Ye hid in the tree and looked down at this strange-looking guy.
Is he really Product Number One? He looks like a shaman with an aura of some kind. This is incredibly close to the truth, but it's still not 100% certain.
Where's the gun?
The man walked towards the river again and passed under the big tree where Luo Ye was hiding. The moment he passed under the tree, he stopped. For an instant, Luo Ye felt as if the blood in his body had solidified.
He could feel his extraordinary anger, and his anger value was full.
He could sense the disturbing aura of death, just like a telepath. From childhood to adulthood, he had never felt the mental fluctuations of another person so real.
It's too difficult to kill him.
With his current physique, he is definitely no match for Brother Butterfly. Just think about the big rock that hit the police car. This guy's strength is at the level of a top strongman.
But in the end, the man left without looking up at the treetops.
After he got down from the tree, he first came to the police car.
Mark sat upright in the driver's seat, as quiet as a mummy.
Didn't you just want to kill me, idiot?
The two bullet holes were no longer bleeding and showed signs of healing.
It was like professional doctors and nurses had cleaned and treated the wound with alcohol, disinfectant, and hemostatic agents.
He stayed by the police car for a while, took Mark's pistol, but found that it was out of bullets when he checked it.
He threw the pistol back into the police car and headed towards the river.
Through the bushes, he spotted the man frantically searching for something on the riverbank. It looked as if he hadn't expected Luo Ye to be able to escape even under the effects of the drug. Finally, the man gave up his search and walked towards him, gun in hand.
That was the gun that he had just used to kill Mark. No wonder he couldn't find it. He picked it up.
The man suddenly walked back, catching Luo Ye off guard.
It was too late to climb the tree, and running was even worse. He could catch up with the police car, but he couldn't catch up with your legs. There was a pit in front of him with overgrown weeds and piles of fallen leaves. Luo Ye hid his body in the pit, covering himself with the fallen leaves, leaving only his two eyes exposed, staring at the man.
The man walked towards him step by step, and he seemed to sense that someone had been here before.
When he was two meters away from the pit, he stopped and looked around.
Luo Ye held his breath.
The man stood for a while and ran towards the police car.
He hid beside the police car and turned off his flashlight.
Luo Ye guessed what this man was planning. There was a satellite phone in the car, and he was waiting for Luo Ye to fall into his trap.
For two full hours, Luo Ye didn't move at all, even though bugs were biting him and ants were crawling all over his body.
The man finally couldn't stand it any longer, so he turned on the flashlight again and headed towards the forest in the northwest direction.
Luo Ye came to the police car and found the satellite phone, but it was out of battery.
He threw the phone into the police car and looked at Mark again.
Under the dim light from the dashboard, the two bullet holes in his neck and temple became smaller.
The bullet holes are indeed healing, and something incredible is happening.
Luo Ye couldn't believe that such a thing happened right under his nose.
He killed Mark without his brain being controlled. The strange fragrance emitted by the red liquid seriously disturbed and misled his god-level center, causing it to issue wrong instructions, causing him to kill Mark desperately in anger.
This is similar to the logic of mental confusion caused by taking psychiatric drugs in modern times.
He was hit by two bullets in the neck and temple. Even a god would die. Why did he still have a pulse?
Yes, spider, there is a spider inside his body.
Where did the spider come from, is the spider a new area of research result of Product No. 1, what is its function, a wonderful tool?
When did the man put the spider into his body?
It can be inferred that the man not only chased the police, but also treated the police as some kind of experimental subjects.
But Mark was already dead, so why put the spider in his body? Was it to clean the corpse, or was there some other motive?
That's obviously not for cleaning up corpses. A human body that big can kill a tiny spider a hundred times.
Potions plus spiders are obviously a synthesis experiment routine.
What would happen to Mark if the bullet hole disappeared, like a scene in a science fiction movie where a cold corpse bounces upright with the help of a magical spider - resurrection from the dead?
He had no time to think or make assumptions. Saving people was the most important thing. There was also a policewoman who was kidnapped. Moreover, that policewoman was his aunt in this world. Damn it, an aunt just dropped out of nowhere.
The man didn't notice Luo Ye following him. Perhaps he thought Luo Ye had already been frightened and ran away.
His footsteps became faster and faster
Luo Ye followed his pace, perfectly in sync.
The man kept changing directions in the forest. There were forests everywhere. No matter how good Luo Ye's sense of direction was, he soon became dizzy after being led by him.
But now that things have come to this, he can't care about anything else.
After walking for about three hours, a hemispherical light flashed in the forest ahead, reaching the treetops. Suddenly, a building appeared in his sight. It had a protective wall and a bunker. It looked like a military fortress.
The man stood in front of the iron gate of the fortress, looked behind him, and finally walked into the iron gate.
The fortress was built on the side of a cliff on a low hill and covers an area of about 5 acres.
There is no road leading to the fortress, nor any other signs of human activity, and the surrounding area is entirely covered with dense primeval forest.
When Luo Ye got here, his legs were already cramping and he was as tired as a dead dog.
The man's pace seemed slow, but he was walking very fast.
If I hadn't followed him with gritted teeth, I might have lost him.
There were tall, black, ferocious watchtowers on all four sides of the fortress. There was no light on three sides, and only on the side facing him. There was a dim light from a wind lantern. A tall man in black stood on top, with his head lowered and motionless. It was unknown whether he had fallen asleep while standing.
Should I go in?
Luo Ye hesitated. His intuition told him that he would gain something by sneaking into the fortress. Perhaps there were policemen locked up inside.
Suddenly, a man's scream was heard in the fortress, one after another, miserable and long.
But after the man's screams stopped, a woman's faint roar was heard: Bastard, let me out, I am a police officer!
The sound seemed to be seeping out from a small window in a room, soft and weak.
The volume was like the sound of a mosquito, but Luo Ye still heard it.
Gained something!
She should be the model police officer Irina Shayk, his new colleague and his aunt.
What’s going on with my aunt is easy to understand, but what is a model policewoman?
