A farming master in Stardew Valley
Chapter 276 Leah's Painting
Chapter 276 Leah's Painting
"No, I don't have the time." Lyon declined again, and at the same time sighed that no wonder Lewis attached so much importance to the festival and made extensive preparations. That's why foreign vendors appeared in Pelican Town early in the morning.
This means that these businessmen also know that the Stardew Valley festival will attract a large number of customers. After all, most businessmen go to places where there are many people, and a large customer base represents a potential customer base.
“Well, what a pity.” The long-haired guy muttered with a hint of regret, then looked Leon up and down: “By the way, are you a local of Pelican Town?”
"I guess so. I just moved here not long ago." Leon responded politely to the other party's question.
"Oh, so what do you think of Stardew Valley and Pelican Town?" The long-haired young man's eyes lit up immediately upon hearing this. "To be honest, I'm looking for a new place with beautiful scenery and a quiet environment. I came to Pelican Town to explore the area, and I really need the opinions of new residents like you."
"It's pretty good, with beautiful mountains and clear water, and birds singing and flowers blooming." Lyon gave his own objective evaluation.
"Is that so? Thank you for your advice, it's very helpful to me." The long-haired boy smiled at Leon and nodded in thanks: "By the way, my name is Elliot. Maybe we can be neighbors in the future."
"Elliot? My name is Leon." When Leon heard this name, he suddenly realized why he always felt that the long-haired boy in front of him looked so familiar. It turned out to be the slick novelist in the game who liked to talk dirty.
No wonder Leon didn't see this guy's cabin on the beach. It turned out that he hadn't moved to Pelican Town yet. He thought this guy had been erased from existence because he had given someone a bad experience.
"Lyon, huh? What a name that tells a story." Elliot praised Leon.
“Uh” This guy started talking dirty to him as soon as they met. Leon’s face darkened, and then he waved his hand: “I won’t disturb your work. I have other things to do. Goodbye.”
After saying that, he fled from Elliot's stall.
After all, if you can't afford to provoke Lyon, can you afford to hide from him?
They passed by a few more stalls, most of which sold some festive products. After looking around, Lyon didn't find any that interested him. However, at a stall in the corner, he saw Leah, whom he hadn't seen for a long time.
She also set up a stall, and the stall was filled with various paintings and wood carvings. The scenery in the paintings was basically the scenery of Stardew Valley, and the wood carvings were all in the shape of small animals.
"Long time no see, Leah." Leon walked up to her and greeted her.
"Hi, Leon." Leah put down the carving knife and the half-carved rabbit statue in her hand, responded to Leon's greeting, and teased.
"You may not have seen me for a long time, but I have seen you many times in the Coal Forest. It's just that I didn't say hello to you."
"Is that so? I didn't notice you, sorry." Leon replied somewhat embarrassedly.
He did go to the Coal Forest often. After all, the natural resources there were very rich. Various wild plants, fishing, green onions, and excellent tree resources were the reasons why Lyon often visited the Coal Forest.
"It's okay, I know you're busy, so I didn't bother you." Leah replied with a smirk, then took out two unframed sketches from the paintings on the table and handed them to Leon to explain.
"I drew this while you were working. You shouldn't mind, right? After all, it's so rare to see such an excellent model like you while on a field trip. It would be a shame not to record this scene."
Hearing this, Lyon looked at the two sketches. One showed Lyon logging, and the other showed Lyon fishing at the Coal Forest Pier.
Leah's painting skills are excellent. She handles the composition and details very well. The simple lines outline a realistic picture that is comparable to a photo.
The drawings related to Leon were particularly highlighted, making it look like a colorless artistic portrait of him. "I don't mind, but can we settle the royalties for his image?" Leon joked to Leah with a smile.
"That's going to have to wait until someone buys these two paintings, otherwise I don't have the money to pay for it." Leah could tell that Leon was not really asking her for money, but she still went along with what Leon said.
"Then let's talk about it after you sell it." Leon continued along with Leah's words.
"Don't you plan to buy it and hang it up yourself?" Leah suggested.
"Do you think I'm that kind of arrogant narcissist?" Leon complained to Leah speechlessly after hearing this.
"That's a shame," Leah shrugged and sighed, "I might have missed out on a great client."
"Hahaha, well said. I'll have to show my support. How much is this one?"
Leon asked, pointing to an oil painting depicting a coal forest at sunset.
"Do you need framing service?" Leah asked.
"Of course, how else would we die?" Lyon confirmed, nodding his head.
"Then I'll charge you 80G." Leah immediately started working and quoted a price.
"Okay, pack it up for me." Leon didn't hesitate. He took out 80G and paid the money, then waited quietly for Leah to frame the painting.
Leah moved quickly and skillfully, and finished the framing work in just over a minute.
Leon was also very satisfied with the color of the solid wood picture frame chosen by Leah. It was the same color as his own wooden house, so it would not look too abrupt when hung up.
Just as Leon was admiring the framed painting, someone suddenly patted him on the back. Leon turned around and found that it was Emily and Haley.
"Leon, what do you want to buy?" Seeing Leon turn around, Emily asked him with a smile.
"I bought an oil painting by Leah. It's pretty nice. Would you like to see her work?" Leon showed the oil painting in his hand and then suggested.
"I can also draw your personal portrait on the spot." Leah, who was standing by, was delighted to hear that Leon was actually introducing clients to her, but she also did not forget to promote her additional services.
"Then let's take a look?" Emily was a little tempted when she heard that, but she still asked Haley's opinion. After all, the two sisters came out together, and the money was with Haley.
"Yeah." Haley was about to refuse, but changed her mind when she glanced at the paintings on Leah's stall.
"Then you guys choose here. I'll go find Gus to get something to eat. I haven't had time to have breakfast this morning." Lyon looked at the two people starting to communicate with Leia, and took the initiative to say goodbye.
