Chapter 1 Red Star Farm
"We've arrived at Stardew Valley. Please take your luggage and prepare to get off the bus."

Following the long-distance bus conductor's reminder, Leon picked up the handbag on the chair and went to the back door to wait.

After passing through a long tunnel, everything in front of us suddenly became clear. What caught my eye was the vibrant green. Except for the asphalt road where the bus was traveling, there were basically no traces of artificial carving.

Finally, the bus stopped at a simple station. Lyon looked at the strange yet familiar platform and strode off the bus.

"Leon, right?" As soon as I got off the train, an old man with a mustache, wearing a felt hat, brown suspenders, a green shirt, and a green shirt, came up to me and greeted me warmly. "I'm Mayor Lewis. I spoke to you on the phone before. I'm a good friend of your grandfather. I'm very happy that his child has returned to Stardew Valley."

Although Lewis's beard and hair have a lot of silver hair, he looks full of energy and spirit, which makes Leon quite envious.

"Hello, Mayor. Please help me arrange the farm matters. Thank you." Lyon stepped forward and shook hands with Lewis, expressing his gratitude.

After all, this farm had been abandoned before he resigned from the Joja supermarket chain. If it weren't for Lewis, he would still have to go through a lot of inheritance procedures to obtain the management and ownership of the farm left by his grandfather, and he wouldn't have come here so quickly to start his new life.

"Hahaha, your grandfather and I are best friends. It's my duty to help you. Besides, the local economy also needs the help of farmers like you. Stardew Valley has the best land and natural scenery. You will get the best returns by planting here. By the way, just call me Lewis." Lewis said with a smile, and then called Leon to join him.

"Come on, let's go check out your farm. I've arranged for Robin, the best carpenter in town, to help you fix up your house."

After leaving the station, Lewis and Leon headed west, walking along a path crisscrossed with grass and dirt for about ten minutes, and finally arrived at the farm.

Looking at the half-human-high, dense weeds, rocks, and trees in the farm, Lewis explained to Leon with a somewhat nervous expression: "We're here. It's a bit wild because no one has taken care of it for a long time, but I believe you can plan this farm well."

"If you have any needs, you can also contact me, I will do my best to help you."

Perhaps worried that Leon would be scared away by this basically deserted farm, Lewis added another sentence.

But what surprised Lewis was that there was no difficulty in Lyon's eyes, but instead he looked excited.

"I will. From now on, this is my farm, right, Lewis?"

"Of course, but we have to sign the deed first. I've put it in your farm cottage." Lewis nodded, then led Leon along a path that had been cleared yesterday and came to a cottage in the center of the farm.

The cottage was not big and was a bit old. Traces of recent repairs could be seen in many places, and there were tinkling sounds coming from the wide-open door.

"Robin, I'm here with the owner of this farm." Lewis shouted into the house.

After a while, the knocking stopped, and a red-haired lady wearing work jeans and an orange jacket walked out of the house. She looked to be middle-aged, but it was not difficult to tell that she was a beauty when she was young.

It's just that the muscles of this beauty are a little exaggerated. Because of her arms exposed by her rolled-up sleeves, the muscle lines are so conspicuous that even a bodybuilding expert would be impressed.

"Hello, farmer, my name is Robin, and I'm a carpenter in Pelican Town. It's fine to live in your old house temporarily, but it may not be suitable for long-term residence. Remember to come to my shop to place an order when the time comes, and I will help you rebuild the best house." Carpenter Robin greeted Leon, and at the end he did not forget to promote his business to Leon.

"Hello, Ms. Robin. I will seriously consider your suggestion. By the way, my name is Leon." Leon nodded and replied.

"Robin is the best carpenter in town. She can satisfy any need you have. There may be many areas for cooperation with her on your farm in the future. Maybe you can become good friends." Lewis added.

"It only involves carpentry work." Robin heard Lewis's words and reminded him with a smile.

Lewis touched his beard awkwardly when he heard that, while Lyon smiled. The other party had undoubtedly driven a car before, which made Lyon realize that Robin was a free and cheerful person.

"My work is done. Although the outside looks a bit miserable, the inside has been renovated. I also built you a brand new single bed. The furniture commissioned by Lewis has also been placed for you. You can move in directly."

Robin said, and enthusiastically pulled Leon into the house to check out her work.

Just as Robin said, Leon felt Robin's sincerity and craftsmanship as soon as he entered the room.

The new wooden floor exudes the scent of wood, without any smell of paint. Although the house is not big, the furniture is arranged in an orderly manner. There is an old TV, a wooden chair, a small round table, a new red brick fireplace, and a single bed covered with sheets and bedding.

Although it is very simple, there is no big problem in living in it.

“It’s a very nice house, much better than I expected.”

Seeing the satisfied smile on Leon's face, Robin had a lot of good feelings towards Leon. After all, what craftsmen care about most is being praised for their work.

"There's no bathroom prepared for you. After all, the space in the house is not very big. But this is a farm, so you can handle some things yourself in the wild."

But there are some things that Robin needs to explain to Leon in advance.

"It's okay, I'll find a way to handle it myself." Leon nodded. He didn't think of this for a moment, but then he put the problem behind him. Just as Robin said, what is the need for a bathroom on such a big farm?
"Then I'll be leaving first." Robin started to pack up his tools after hearing that, then said goodbye to Leon and left.

Lewis, who stayed, took out a document from under the sheets of the new bed after looking at the house and reminded Leon: “Okay, if you don’t have any other questions, you can sign the contract.”

Lyon took the contract and looked at it for a while. After confirming that it was an inheritance contract for the ownership of the farm and that there were no complicated wording traps, he signed his name.

"Regarding this farm, your grandfather used to call it Red Star Farm. Do you need to change the name?" Lewis asked after seeing that Lyon had signed.

"No, let's call it Red Star Farm." Leon said with a smile on his face, shaking his head and confirming, "I like this name very much."
