Chapter 226 I am an alien insect, I don't understand
"Kaelax, the Spear of Adun is now under your command. I'll lead the Templars to seize this warship! Lord Highlord needs Blackrock Fortress!"

"Archbishop, please entrust this to me with confidence."

Having witnessed the power of the Spear of Adun, the Chaos Fleet also set its sights on it.

The Stormships boarded these Chaos Ships, and the Ultramarines' fleet began to assist the Spear of Adun in its counterattack.

Although they loathe the aliens, they do need this warship to stop Blackrock Fortress for them.

When Macurag was attacked, nearby star systems immediately dispatched their own fleets.

Scattered warships forcibly traversed the subspace and entered Macurag.

Meanwhile, Kerrigan's Zerg forces had already approached the massive Omen Ark. Leviathan had no energy shield to protect it from damage and could only rely on its sturdy bio-shell to withstand the bombardment from the Omen Ark.

Compared to the Protoss warships, the Zerg's dominance in the Void is several levels below.

The two Leviathans used their own bodies as cover to protect the advancing troops.

Their flesh and blood had been blasted to pieces, and they were on the verge of death, but Leviathan could continue to advance as long as they were not completely killed.

Leviathan swung its tentacles, shattering the incoming torpedoes.

Meanwhile, the black-hearted guys on the Ominous Ark relentlessly tormented the blasphemous machine spirit and the bound demon.

This allows the Ominous Ark to unleash an even stronger attack.

As the two Leviathans were reduced to countless pieces of flesh and blood floating in the void by the barrage of cannon fire, the remaining Leviathans were already close to the Ark of Doom.

They moved directly close to the Ominous Ark, rendering its powerful ranged weapons ineffective, and their waving tentacles directly shattered its external close-range defenses.

Meanwhile, the bio-nuclear cannons, using highly corrosive acid, began to tear open gaps in the weak points of this complex, interconnected warship.

Two bio-armored spikes pierced the interior of the warship.

Countless alien insects surged in through the ram and began slaughtering everything inside the corrupted warship.

After successfully landing, the Queen began releasing creep to compete for territory with the defiled flesh and blood produced by the corruption of the warship's inner space.

Purple fungal carpets began to devour the decaying flesh growing on the warship's deck and bulkhead.

However, these corrupted flesh and blood, possessing their own life, continue to multiply under the supply of subspace energy, attempting to eliminate the invading creep.

The warp corruption within the Omen Ark was so severe that it caused various anti-physical phenomena to constantly occur inside the Ark.

Its interior is comparable to being directly in subspace.

The wrecked ship, which had been drifting in the warp for countless years, had long accumulated a vast amount of warp energy.

The creep and the corrupted flesh devoured each other, and the corrupted flesh, powered by warp energy, seemed to have the upper hand for a time. However, the creep was also simultaneously absorbing energy and sending it back to Leviathan. The deficit caused by the rapid warp was quickly made up, and more energy was sent to the hatching pool to produce more Zerg.
With the addition of more and more queen insects and the absorption of enough energy, the fungal carpet finally began to spread outwards.

Inside the Ominous Ark, the bound demons were unleashed, demon engines swarmed, and corrupted fighter soldiers attempted to drive the Zerg off the warship.
On the ground, Vashtor also sensed everything that was happening inside the Ominous Ark. The sudden arrival of the Protoss and Zerg made him even more anxious, and the Gorgons floating high in the sky caused great trouble for his advance.

"Faster! Faster!"

Unfortunately, the closer they got to Guilliman's Sanctuary, the stronger humanity's defenses became, and the more determined their counterattacks became.

Kerrigan also embarked on the Ark of Ominous Signs.

Kerrigan felt an intense aversion to the chaotic energy permeating the air. If the mortal forces were to breach the interior of the Ominous Ark, this power might already be corrupting their bodies.

The indescribable scene inside the warship, coupled with the subspace whispers generated by the excessively high concentration of chaotic energy, was enough to drive ordinary mortals mad.

The frantic murmurs emanating from the warp and the influx of dense warp energy are attempting to corrupt Kerrigan and her Zerg.

As for the alien insects, they have no self-awareness and no sense of fear. You can whisper all you want, I can't understand it anyway.

The swarm network protects them from the hatching of Chaos, but Kerrigan has also discovered some small Zerg that have undergone unusual mutations under the influence of dense warp energy.

Temporarily setting aside her urge to study it, Kerrigan ordered the other Zerg to capture it as a sample for later research.

However, it wasn't just the Zerg that felt no fear on this warship; the Daemon Engine and the corrupted automatons also emboldened. No one would stop until one side was utterly wiped out.

The complex passageways within the Omen Ark became an advantage for the Zerg, while the purely mechanical bodies of the Daemon Engines became their disadvantage.

The alien insects, known as the Flying Serpent and the Corruptor, can spew a cloud of poison that disables energy-based weapons and slows the energy supply to the profaned body from its internal soul furnace.

The latter's spittle corroded the demon engine's armor.

Once locked in melee combat and losing the ability to eliminate Zerg on a large scale, the Zerg will overwhelm these weakened opponents with sheer numbers.

The Zerg's evolutionary mechanism has enabled them to develop their own set of tactics even when facing purely mechanical enemies.

The alien insects' sharp spikes and claws destroyed all the instruments in their path.

In particular, with each segment of the magic steel nerve plexus severed, Vashtor's control over the blasphemous warship diminished.

The warship was so corrupted that Gao Yi didn't intend to waste his energy purifying this pure product of chaos. His only request to Kerrigan was to completely destroy the warship.

Under the protection of the Zerg swarm, Kerrigan began to delve deeper into the desecrated warship in search of the central control known as "The Ferryman."

No one can operate this warship in a conventional way. Even those blessed by Chaos cannot control this extremely distorted system due to long-term exposure to the warp through any Thinker array or machine spirit.

In each region containing the Felsteel Neural Plexus, there exists a fusion of demons and physical beings. These beings are enslaved and bound, and assume the duties of the original crew. An unknown evil magic compels these demons to obey the commands of their ship owners and control these blasphemous warships.

However, this also means that once these ferrymen are destroyed, the Ominous Ark will once again have its own will, which Vashtor will be unable to control, and the warship itself will destroy those inside who are trying to control it.

Kerrigan quickly used her psionic powers to follow the Felsteel Nebula and found a ferryman.

Flesh and machine were fused together, and a humanoid monster was embedded in the wall, with bulging eyes and numerous severed limbs attached to its body.

Kerrigan looked at the bizarre being before her with disgust and destroyed it without hesitation using her psionic powers.

As the ferryman of this area was killed, part of the Ominous Ark immediately went into a state of shutdown.

Some warp entities that were originally fighting the Zerg began attacking the Zerg and the Daemon Engines indiscriminately.

Kerrigan, sensing all this, knew she didn't need to destroy all the Ferrymen; half of them would be enough to completely disable the Ominous Ark.

She urged the Zerg to speed up their attack, disregarding casualties, as this warship radiating warp energy was the best nourishment for the Zerg.

Artanis has already entered the interior of Blackrock Fortress and even bumped into the Ultramarines who had broken in earlier.
