Chapter 185 Protoss Warp
Meanwhile, the craftsmen of Kolor were preparing tools. The stagnation in their research meant they were ultimately going to disassemble the probe to investigate its structure and principles.

"Salam, let's get ready to begin!"

Just as the Eldar researchers on the Ark were preparing to begin their work...

The probe, which they couldn't start no matter what they tried, suddenly started moving on its own.

Its body was filled with blue psionic energy.

"Lord Salam! This creation has begun to work!"

"How exactly did it start? What did you all do?"

"We didn't do anything at all!"

However, the probe observed the surrounding terrain like a pet, seemingly posing no threat whatsoever.

A member of the Ark Eldar bravely approached and even reached out to touch the probe in front of him.

"My lord! This thing doesn't seem to be aggressive at all. Unbelievable! This creation is actually driven by pure psionic energy? What kind of race can wield psionic energy to such an extent?"

But just as he turned to Salam with delight, the probe's head shot out an arc-shaped beam of light.

His power may seem insignificant in the game, but in reality, his particle beam attack is powerful enough to cut through solid crystal ore, let alone flesh.

Salam stared wide-eyed as his friend of decades was easily pierced through the chest by the ray, and even the Soul Stone hanging on his chest to protect his soul was shattered.

"Do not!!!"

The shattering of the Soulstone signifies that the Eldar's soul will be taken away by Slaanesh the moment it returns to the High Heavens.

It is truly and utterly dead.

Before Salam could grieve, at the other end of the laboratory, in a sealed space separated by a layer of crystal glass, the crystal tower they regarded as important began to release psionic energy and slowly rotate.

The probe's actions hadn't yet allowed the Eldar to recover, but those who were still alive realized that what was about to happen was definitely not what they wanted to see.

The Eldar around them picked up the tools at hand and tried to destroy or control the probe, but the occasional particle beams they fired kept them busy dodging.

Meanwhile, on El Al, Templar Knights stood in neat rows beside teleportation portals.

Artanis stood proudly in front of all the Protoss.

The Protoss were exceptionally eager to fight, not only because of Gao Yi's orders, but also because the upcoming battle would determine whether the Protoss could grow stronger again in this unfamiliar world.

The enormous crystal on the crystal hub began to spin rapidly.

The gathered psionic energy even created visible ripples above it, a phenomenon that only occurs when the psionic energy concentration reaches a certain level.

In a typical imperial world, this level of psionic energy would be enough for a demon to temporarily exist in the physical world without a host.

Fortunately, the psionic energy absorbed by the Protoss all comes from Gao Yi, so it won't cause such a terrible situation.

The psionic matrix began to link, and even though they were separated by a great distance, the matrix on El established a link with the psionic energy on Klor.

The coordinates of the crystal tower located on Corrol were also successfully anchored.

The portals, which serve as the basic unit production buildings, have also begun to function. Each portal can warp in one Templar at a time, and at this point, 20 fully functional portals have been built within the Protoss camp.

Artanis wanted to conserve high-level psionic crystals and limit consumption based on the available energy sources.

Instead of building any buildings that produce flying units, Gao Yi only built product buildings and technology buildings that produce ground units. However, the high cost still made Gao Yi feel the pinch. Gao Yi also always saved the crystals needed to summon Doom once a year, because this thing is a real lifesaver.

Artanis, along with the first batch of Templars, also began to disappear into Aiur as a stream of psionic signals.

Beams of light shot into the sky.

Meanwhile, beams of light appeared as if descending from the sky and gathered around the crystal tower beside Koror.

Sensing this unusual fluctuation of psionic energy, the spirit race members present were all extremely nervous.

Within the beam of light, the figures of Protoss were coalescing. The Eldar, seeing this, realized that some kind of enemy was using unknown technology to bypass Krol's concealment and defense systems and directly enter the Ark World. This psionic crystal was no chance for Krol; it was merely a psionic beacon!
Drawing on centuries of accumulated knowledge, Salam instantly realized that this wasn't an opportunity for Kolor at all, but rather a conspiracy against him!
"There's something wrong with this creation! That crystal is teleporting some kind of creature here! Stop it! Notify the guardians immediately!"

Because of the importance the Council of the Prophets places on the Crystal Tower and the Probes, two elite teams of Ark Guardians have been stationed outside.

Upon hearing the commotion coming from inside the laboratory, the Eldar warriors immediately rushed in.

Before the teleportation is fully completed, the Protoss is not yet a physical entity, and physical attacks cannot cause any damage. However, the countless fragments that fly when the star beam hits the crystal tower cannot be destroyed immediately.

By the time they attempted to destroy the crystal, the Protoss' first warp had already ended.

Twenty Templars, along with Artanis himself, have successfully arrived on Koror.

"Forget about that crystal, wipe out these enemies invading Korol!"

The Guardians began to switch targets, but all their attacks were blocked by the Protoss's built-in single-target shields.

The psionic restraints on the Templar's arms condensed the Protoss's vast psionic energy into indestructible blades of light.

At this moment, Artanis looked at the Protoss before him with eyes full of longing.

He looked at the soul stones worn by each of these spirits, and he knew that if he killed these spirits, their souls would enter the soul stones.

Only by eliminating these spirit race members can they bring back more of their own people.

"For the Protoss! For Aiur! Templars, draw your blades! Do not destroy the Soulstones in their chests!"

Before the Guardians of Kolor could even fire, Artanis led the Templars into the Guardians' lines.

The enhanced system on its legs allowed the Protoss to burst into extremely fast speed in an instant, rushing towards the face of the Guardians from a distance.

Salam stood frozen in place.

He and the other craftsmen watched as the guardians were slaughtered.

"Could it be that every one of these creatures is a war shaman?"

The Protoss's psionic energy remained in the form of a light blade for a long time. In Salam's eyes, this was a result of a certain level of control over psionic energy.

The path of cultivation allows each spirit race to focus on its own domain, but some spirit races, after traveling a certain distance on a particular path, switch to other paths for various reasons.

For example, some Eldar who initially followed the path of knowledge later turned to the path of warriors, possessing exceptional psionic talents while also being proficient in combat.

Unlike prophets who used psychic energy for divination and other purposes, they transformed psychic energy into a more direct weapon.

Such spirits are called war shamans, and they are beings who cultivate both magic and martial arts.

In Salam's eyes, the psionic reactions of each Templar were exceptionally strong.

Artanis, in particular, was terrified by the psionic energy emanating from him. He had never seen the great prophets make a move, but perhaps even the prophets were no more than this.

Not only were their psionic powers immense, but their physical abilities were also incredibly fast. The guardians were slaughtered before they even had a chance to resist.

The Protoss only lost one person.

The Eldar's pride in their longevity and the advantages they gained from their mastery of skills were completely negated by these Templar warriors.

Everyone has lived long enough.

Before Artanis's reforms, the Protoss's social system was even similar to a caste system.

Social status is determined entirely by an individual's level of spiritual energy.

The Templars represent the elite class of the original Protoss society, and each Templar is a Protoss who has been recognized by the Protoss society and possesses sufficient psionic control and combat skills.

It can be said that the Protoss Gao Yi summoned to this world were not commoners, but elites.
