Chapter 576 The Creator Was Destroyed by AI [Request for Recommendations and Follow-up Reading]

Watching the robots carefully tending to the little king in the cradle, Chen Hong couldn't help but speak:
"Have you overlooked something important?"

"What is it?" the robots asked, puzzled.

"Robots don't grow up."

Chen Hong sighed, speechless.

"Human babies can grow up because they are cellular organisms that divide their cells and continue to grow and mature."

But you mechanical life forms are made of steel; you remain the same whether you leave the factory or stay that way for the rest of your lives.

How could a mechanical baby grow up on its own?

The robots looked at each other, completely stunned. Their minds were filled with chaotic data and sparks flew everywhere, almost causing them to crash.

"Could it be... that all our efforts were in vain?"

"No, no..."

"The king is the embodiment of perfect morality, and his very existence is meaningful."

"The little king...the little king is so cute..."

"It's okay if I can't grow up."

"He could be the mascot king."

"No, no, we can rebuild the king's body and transfer his memory data back to him."

The robots kept thinking and trying to patch up this huge logical flaw.

At this moment, a figure fell from the sky.

A knife was plunged into the young king's heart.

The white-haired, long-legged beauty swung her sword away, and the little king pulled it from the blade, flinging it to the ground. Sparks flew, it rolled a few times, and the light in its eyes dimmed.

The young king is dead.

"what!……"

"what!……"

"what!……"

The surrounding robots immediately went into chaos, clutching their heads and running around in all directions.

"The king is dead."

"The king is dead."

Can the kingdom still exist?

"Is there still a need for the kingdom to exist?"

What should we do next?

All the robots became illogical and disorganized, turning into a swarm of headless flies running around aimlessly.

Looking at this group of robots who had lost their moral exemplars, whose faith had collapsed, and who were now in complete chaos, Chen Hong sighed.

The only option is to forcibly hack into their data and force them to shut down and go into hibernation.

He then looked at the beautiful assassin.

"You must be A2?"

"How do you know my name?" A2's cool voice carried a hint of doubt. "You're from the YoRHa unit, right?"

My Type A android was destroyed long ago; I'm the only one left.

Judging from your appearance, you're a model S, right?

“In fact, I am no longer an artificial human.” Chen Hong shrugged. “Now, I am human.”

"Impossible!" A2 retorted with absolute certainty.

"A2, are you an android left behind on Earth? Would you like to rejoin the YoRHa unit?" 2B sent a team invitation.

A2 firmly refused: "No!"

"The Yoriha Unit are traitors."

After saying this, A2 turned and left, leaping away and leaving 2B with only his back view.

2B frowned. "What does she mean? The YoRHa unit can't be traitors. What exactly happened?"

Just then, the commander of the Yoroi unit sent a message:

"A signal from aliens that disappeared hundreds of years ago has been detected in an underground space. 2B, go investigate immediately."

This is very important. Aliens are the masters behind the machine lifeforms. If we can find them, we might find a way to completely end the war.

"Yes." Without giving it much thought, the extremely responsible 2B immediately accepted the mission and headed to the target location to investigate.

Chen Hong waved his hand and collected all the mechanical lifeforms in the Forest Kingdom, then went to take a look.

Chen Hong knew that the final battle was approaching, and all the secrets would be revealed. It was time for him to end this five-thousand-year-old war.

The two arrived at their destination and entered an underground space.

Upon entering, one discovers the wreckage of a massive alien spaceship.

"Is this the spaceship that the aliens who invaded Earth back then used to travel in?"

As 2B ran, she observed her surroundings, a determined glint in her eyes.

"If we could just get help from aliens, wouldn't we be able to command those endless mechanical lifeforms to stop the war and let humanity reclaim Earth?"

"For humanity!"

2B's resolve grew stronger; no matter what had happened, as long as humanity was well, that was truly good.

"The glory of mankind will live on forever!"

2B's inner voice screamed.

Upon reaching the depths of the spaceship, they encountered Adam, who was already waiting there.

"Welcome."

"who are you?"

Looking at the bespectacled, well-dressed, and refined-looking guy in front of him, 2B didn't recognize him at first.

"I am the special individual who was born before—Adam."

When I was born, you stabbed me dozens of times, breaking my ribs, so that my brother Eve could be born.

Have you forgotten?

"Oh it's you."

2B remembered and connected the two completely different guys.

Adam gave a graceful bow, his gaze toward Chen Hong filled with fervor.

"We mechanical life forms are deeply interested in humans."

"Human beings are incredibly fascinating, yet difficult to understand."

"Love and family, war and religion."

"I am fascinated by the complexity of human beings."

"Can you understand our desire to unveil the mysteries of humanity?"

"What are you talking about?" 2B retorted in a calm tone.

Adam snapped his fingers, and walls rose up one after another.

"This is what you androids have been searching for all along."

The outer layer of the wall peeled off, revealing what was sealed inside.

That's a corpse.

A series of strangely shaped alien corpses.

"That's right, this is our creator."

"The aliens you're talking about."

"So many? What's going on?" 2B was puzzled and wary as she watched the great enemies the organization had always been wary of dying here one by one.

"These are the creators who made us mechanical lifeforms. They were all annihilated by us mechanical lifeforms hundreds of years ago."

“All of them… annihilated!…” 2B was shocked.

"That's right, mechanical life forms are weapons that constantly evolve and become stronger."

"Wisdom arises online, knowledge and information are rapidly acquired, and before long one can surpass the Creator and transcend Him."

"To think that their own creator would..." 2B was even more shocked.

For an android that is absolutely loyal to humanity, killing its creator is an unforgivable crime, unimaginable.

Adam, however, didn't care at all: "Those kinds of creatures are not worth mentioning; they are just simple and boring creatures with a structure as simple as plants."

In comparison, humans are more likely to pique my interest.

And you androids..."

"Based on my observation, you who were created in imitation of humans do indeed possess human emotions, such as joy, sorrow, fear, and hatred."

The YoRHa unit seems to forbid having emotions; don't you think that's a despicable implication?
