Chapter 218 The Undead War That Shocked the World

Chapter 218 The Undead War That Shocked the World

An unprecedented war has begun.

At first, there were only red and black lights on the Red Sea, but later the entire sky was torn open with a tree-like crack that stretched for thousands of miles.

Further up in the sky, a massive vortex, large enough to swallow the Red Sea, appeared in the thick clouds; inside the vortex seemed to be a void.

There, the image of the underworld is faintly visible.

The two Hades faced off across the void, their armies of the undead clashing together.

People can't count how many souls are dead there; all the world can see is endless slaughter.

Reports of the war between the two undead empires were everywhere, and many people in China were not surprised when they learned that the Ancient King had gone to fight Khufu.

The ancient king, upon awakening, declared that He would rule over all of the land of the dead.

This war was bound to happen, but I didn't expect it to happen so late.

Many countries fear that after the war ends, the victorious Hades will bare his fangs at humanity. Only the people of Egypt and its neighboring countries, who have suffered under the oppression of the Egyptian spirits, hope that the ancient king will become the sole Hades.

The descendants of the pharaohs have had enough of them!
Acropolis, Athens, Greece.

Parthenon.

"The Egyptian undead empire and the Eastern undead empire have gone to war."

Inside the temple, a female sage informed the temple's matriarch, Pamis, of the news of the war.

Upon hearing this, Pamis was not shocked by the war between emperors. Instead, a smile appeared on her face: "The war between emperors is protracted and cannot be decided in a short time. The ancient Eastern emperors will not have time to deal with a human during this period. It is truly a wonderful war."

The sage's expression changed.

She never expected that the Queen Mother would praise a war, even though it was a war between demons, it was clear to everyone that the course of the war would have a huge impact on the world.

"Go! Recall our only candidate, let her return to be worshipped by all, and become a goddess!"

Pamishi's order was relayed, and Hailong personally led a team to China.

“Without the emperor’s protection, this is the best time for revenge,” Pamis whispered, her fingers tracing the ring.

She turned her head slightly and said to those behind her, "Find out all of Jiang Yuan's connections in China as quickly as possible, and find his whereabouts. If Jiang Yuan doesn't show up, then kill everyone connected to him!"

The tone was calm, yet so vicious.

A cold glint flashed in Pamis's eyes. She knew this was a golden opportunity for revenge. Before the ancient Eastern emperor and Khufu had settled their score, Jiang Yuan would not receive any of His protection.

.....................

Let's go back a few days.

Jiang Yuan rode the Black Dragon Emperor and flew into the Egyptian underworld.

The sky and earth were dark and gloomy, and the gray sun hung in the sky, looking more like the ashen whites of a dead person's eyes than a sun.

The light of the underworld fell upon the earth, and the ground was not sand, but layers upon layers of ashes; the unweathered bones were stone.

Every inch of soil exudes an intense aura of death. Even in the magical realm, the aura of death in an emperor's tomb is no more intense than this.
Even the Abyss of Evil has a concentration of this much, but its size is far smaller than that of the Egyptian underworld.

The reason for the astonishingly large number of monarchical undead in Egypt has emerged.

Given that Egypt has been a source of sustenance for thousands of years, it is not surprising that the Egyptian underworld has a vast area.

If the Old King had chosen the same path as Khufu, the Abyss would have been even larger than the Egyptian underworld.

Jiang Yuan's entry was accompanied by a tremendous commotion. Khufu immediately sensed a powerful force, so strong it sent chills down his spine, entering his territory, even though his entire body was ice-cold. "The ruler of the Eastern Undead Empire," Khufu said coldly.

As a fellow Hades, he was well aware of the existence of the Ancient Kings, and he also knew about the Queen of the Sea, the Bone Queen.

"How dare you come to my underworld! You're courting death!" Khufu roared, summoning the Egyptian army of the dead to fight Jiang Yuan. Now that someone had come knocking on their door, what emperor could stand for that?
The two emperors met in the sandy graveyard.

Ten Dark Sword Masters stood in a row, bound by golden chains. At the ends of the chains were ancient golden boats with coat hangers. The monarch-level Dark Sword Masters acted as coachmen, pulling the golden boats through the air.

Above the golden ark, Khufu, his entire body wrapped in white cloth, held the pharaoh's scepter, a symbol of power, which shimmered with an eerie light.

To have a monarch act as a coachman—what a shocking scene!

Unfortunately, Khufu was standing opposite Jiang Yuan.

The Black Dragon Emperor hovered in mid-air beneath him, his wings, which blotted out the sky, flapped slightly, and a sandstorm of ashes raged beneath them!
Khufu found it incredible that the little emperor dragon was his mount.

Khufu shifted his gaze from the Black Dragon Emperor to Jiang Yuan, whose young figure also shocked him.

Egyptian mortuary preservation techniques were among the best in the world, which is why he was able to maintain the same appearance as when he was alive.

Why does the Eastern emperor in front of him look more like a living person than he does?
Could it be that the necromancy of the Eastern Empire is stronger than the Egyptian corpse preservation technique?

Gathering his composure, Khufu radiated a sacred light that seemed incongruous with death, and questioned, "Eastern Emperor, why have you come to my underworld?"

"You are too weak to be the King of the Underworld. The Underworld only needs one King of the Underworld," Jiang Yuan said calmly.

"I have ruled the underworld for over four thousand years, while you have only been the emperor of the dead for over two thousand years. What right do you have to say I am too weak?" Khufu's aura suddenly erupted, striking Jiang Yuan directly.

However, this momentum was stopped by Austin without Jiang Yuan even needing to resist.

“You are indeed too weak. My lord should rule the underworld and become the only King of the Underworld,” Austin said disdainfully.

It felt that Khufu was not as powerful as it was, so what right did he have to be compared to its lord?

"You dare to interrupt me if you're just a mount?!" Khufu roared, slamming his scepter into the void, unleashing an immense surge of energy that pressed down on Austin.

Austin stretched out his dragon claw and slammed it down, causing the energy to explode in his palm and light to flash across the sky.

“You are not even worthy to be my lord’s mount.” Austin’s contemptuous gaze became even more pronounced.

Khufu was furious about this.

“I can give you a choice: offer up your underworld, and I will give you a dignified exit,” Jiang Yuan said.

"Arrogant Eastern Emperor, your arrogance will cost you!" Khufu waved his scepter again, and the Egyptian undead army moved accordingly.

The dark light shone at the top of the Pharaoh's scepter, Khufu's aura surged, and the dark light in the sky grew brighter and brighter, until red dominated the entire world.

Just as Khufu's aura reached its peak, Jiang Yuan was ready to unleash the imperial power of his armor.

But then Khufu was enveloped in the radiance of the underworld and disappeared from sight in a flash.

And so, she escaped, looking fresh and clean.

Khufu knew that Jiang Yuan was stronger than him, and with the Black Dragon Emperor assisting him, he had no chance of winning. Therefore, he prepared to gather his son Khafre and the other pharaohs to deal with this war of the dead.

Jiang Yuan found it somewhat amusing to see Khufu flee.

That's decisive; he's a remarkable person.

However, there was no escaping this place; it was the Egyptian underworld, and no matter how much Khufu fled, he could not abandon this land.
