Chapter 641 Zhu Zhuqing's decision: Come find me tonight?

Liu Erlong picked up her chopsticks, took a sip of the porridge, and found the rice grains soft and sticky, cooked to perfection.

She picked up another side dish with her chopsticks; it was crisp, refreshing, and perfectly seasoned.

"Excellent," she praised sincerely.

Dai Chengfeng smiled: "I'm glad you like it."

The two ate their breakfast quietly, exchanging a few words occasionally, creating a warm and harmonious atmosphere.

After the meal, Dai Chengfeng got up to clear the dishes, and Liu Erlong also stood up to help.

"I'll wash it," she said.

“Together.” Dai Chengfeng didn’t object, and the two stood together in front of the sink, one washing and the other cleaning.

Liu Erlong was washing the dishes when she suddenly felt Dai Chengfeng approaching from behind, his warm breath brushing against her ear.

"Erlong," he called her name softly, his voice tinged with amusement.

"What are you doing?" Liu Erlong's hands kept moving, but her ears turned red.

Dai Chengfeng wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, resting his chin gently on her shoulder: "It's nothing, I just wanted to hug you."

His arms were strong and powerful, his chest pressed against her back, and Liu Erlong could clearly feel his body temperature through the thin fabric. She tried to break free, but he held her even tighter.

"Stop fooling around, I'm washing the dishes."

She gave a light scolding, but there was little blame in her voice.

"You wash yours, I'll carry mine."

Dai Chengfeng acted shamelessly, not only holding her tightly but also deliberately rubbing against her neck, the warm breath causing Liu Erlong to tremble slightly.

"Dai Chengfeng!"

Liu Erlong gritted his teeth and nudged him lightly with his elbow.

Dai Chengfeng groaned, but still didn't let go. Instead, he took advantage of the situation and lowered his head to place a light kiss on her neck.

Liu Erlong froze, almost dropping the bowl in her hand.

She took a deep breath and tried to keep her voice calm: "If you keep doing this, I'm not going to wash anymore."

"Then I won't wash it."

Dai Chengfeng chuckled, turned her around to face him, placed his hands on the edge of the sink on either side of her body, and held her in his arms.

The two were very close, and Liu Erlong could clearly see the smile in his eyes, as well as the tenderness hidden deep within them.

The morning light shone from behind him, casting a halo around him and making his outline appear somewhat blurred, which only added to his allure.

"you……"

Liu Erlong wanted to say something, but was speechless for a moment.

Dai Chengfeng looked down at her, his gaze lingering on her face, from her slightly flushed cheeks to her lips pursed in nervousness, and then to her bright eyes that held a hint of embarrassment.

He suddenly felt that Liu Erlong was more moving than ever before.

"You are so beautiful," he whispered, his voice filled with undisguised admiration.

Liu Erlong blushed even more and looked away: "Glib tongue."

“These are my heartfelt words,” Dai Chengfeng said earnestly, reaching out to gently stroke her cheek. “Erlong, you have no idea how beautiful you are.”

His gaze was so focused, his tone so sincere, that Liu Erlong's heart stirred, and she didn't know how to respond. She lowered her eyes, her long eyelashes casting trembling shadows beneath them.

Dai Chengfeng lowered his head and gently kissed her lips.

The kiss was tender and lingering, devoid of lust, filled only with deep affection.

Liu Erlong was a little stiff at first, but she quickly relaxed, reached out and wrapped her arms around his waist, responding to the kiss.

In the morning light, the two embraced and kissed in the kitchen, their figures intertwined in the morning light, a scene as warm and beautiful as a painting.

After a long while, Dai Chengfeng reluctantly let go of her, his forehead pressed against hers, his breathing slightly disordered.

"I wish it could stay like this forever," he sighed.

Liu Erlong leaned against him, calming her breathing, and smiled softly when she heard this: "You are a prince of the Star Luo Empire, and you also have the affairs of the Spirit Hall. How can you continue like this?"

“That’s why I cherish this moment even more.” Dai Chengfeng hugged her tightly, as if he wanted to meld her into his very bones.

The two lingered for a few more moments before separating to continue cleaning the kitchen.

This time, however, Dai Chengfeng behaved himself and didn't make any further moves. His gaze, however, remained fixed on Liu Erlong, gentle and focused. After tidying everything up, Dai Chengfeng said goodbye to Liu Erlong.

The streets were bustling with people, noisy and lively.

Dai Chengfeng walked among the crowd, but his mood was unusually calm.

Upon arriving at the Spirit Hall, the guards, seeing him, bowed respectfully and made way for him.

Dai Chengfeng nodded in response and walked straight towards his own courtyard.

As soon as I returned to the courtyard, Zhu Zhuqing was already waiting for me.

She was dressed in a black outfit that accentuated her slender figure, and her long hair was tied up high, giving her a clean and neat appearance.

Upon seeing Dai Chengfeng arrive, she nodded slightly.

"Have you been waiting long?" Dai Chengfeng stepped forward.

"No, I just arrived." Zhu Zhuqing shook her head, her expression calm.

Dai Chengfeng glanced at her and noticed that she seemed a little different today.

Although his expression remained aloof, there was a hint of seriousness between his brows, as if he had something on his mind.

"let's start?"

"and many more……"

Zhu Zhuqing looked at Dai Chengfeng, a complex expression flashing in her eyes. She bit her lip and suddenly said, "Chengfeng, I have a question for you."

"explain."

Dai Chengfeng walked to the sidelines, picked up his water bottle, and took a sip of water.

Zhu Zhuqing walked up to him, her expression serious: "Isn't the growth of our Asura God Power too slow with this kind of cultivation?"

Dai Chengfeng paused and looked at her.

Zhu Zhuqing's gaze was clear and firm as she looked directly at him, awaiting his answer.

Dai Chengfeng nodded and said, "Yes, what's wrong?"

Zhu Zhuqing looked at him, took a deep breath, as if she had made up her mind.

She stepped forward, getting extremely close to Dai Chengfeng, almost able to feel each other's breath.

"Chengfeng." She looked directly into his eyes, her voice soft yet exceptionally clear, "You will marry me, right?"

Dai Chengfeng was taken aback, completely unprepared for her to suddenly ask this question.

Zhu Zhuqing is his fiancée; this was arranged long ago.

Although the two were close, they had never discussed marriage so openly.

He looked at Zhu Zhuqing. The girl's face appeared exceptionally fair in the training ground's light. Her cat-like eyes stared straight at him, clear and firm, with a hint of barely perceptible tension hidden deep within.

"nature."

Dai Chengfeng nodded, "You are my fiancée."

This is a fact, and there is no need to deny it.

Although the marriage was initially tinged with political considerations, Dai Chengfeng has come to genuinely appreciate Zhu Zhuqing over the years.

She is strong, independent, and opinionated; her talent and temperament are both top-notch.

Upon hearing this, Zhu Zhuqing took another small step forward, bringing the two of them even closer.

"I thought about a lot of things yesterday."

She said softly, her voice trembling slightly, "Since I am destined to marry you in the future, there are some things that may not have to wait until after the wedding."

Dai Chengfeng's heart stirred, and he vaguely understood her meaning.

Zhu Zhuqing looked up at him, a complex light flickering in her cat-like eyes: "Cultivating the Asura God Power, if done using conventional methods, progresses too slowly. But... if..."

She paused here, a blush rising to her cheeks.

Dai Chengfeng listened quietly without interrupting.

“So…” Zhu Zhuqing took a deep breath, as if she had used up all her courage, “Come to my place tonight.”

After she finished speaking, she dared not look at Dai Chengfeng again, turned around and left, her steps were a little hurried, and her back view revealed a bit of panic.
