Chapter 676: First Arrival in Asgard
Chapter 676: First Arrival in Asgard
Although Kahn has joined Reed's team to help them, the current 9527 universe is really too dangerous.
First, OBA interfered with the normal development of the universe, and then encountered Set who wanted to come and get a piece of the pie.
This kind of drama of the gods descending is considered to be hellish for any universe, not to mention that the current 9527 universe is still like a newborn baby. It is hard to say about Yang Le in ancient times, but at least there is indeed no decent organization in modern times to deal with various crises.
If there is another high-end game with evil gods, then Kahn's power alone will seem insufficient, so Yang Le asked Franklin for help. It happened that he had just finished working on the movie universe and had nothing to do.
It was said that Yang Le had not had the time to listen to Franklin's report on the current situation of the movie universe. The lantern ring, weapons and Thor's affairs came one after another, making Yang Le feel a little cramped.
Considering the various things that happened before, going to Asgard now can be regarded as giving myself a short vacation.
Soon Yang Le and Gwen were ready. Like Yang Le, Gwen was also traveling light. She just changed into a casual outfit that was convenient for movement and gave Katie a few instructions. It didn't take much time.
Originally, Katie was planning to go with them, but Gwen dissuaded her because Asgard was a strange place and Gwen couldn't guarantee that the people there would be as friendly to outsiders as Thor was.
Besides, Yang Le was the only person invited by Asgard, and Gwen’s qualification was a free gift. She was also worried about leaving Yang Le alone, so she just went with him.
After hearing Gwen say this, Katie had no choice but to give up. She recently found that she was a little too dependent on Gwen, which might be due to the suspension bridge effect.
There was no way. Before awakening her mutant powers, Katie was just an ordinary girl attending school. The transition from daily life to being on the run was too big, and even now she still felt it was a little unrealistic.
Of course, it could also be that she just doesn't want to believe it.
After reuniting, Yang Le and Gwen found Thor again and said that they were ready and could set off at any time.
"Well, I thought we'd have to wait a little longer."
Thor stood up from his chair. The reason why he thought it was fast was because of his mother Frigga. Every time Thor went out with her, he had to wait for half an hour. Now Yang Le and Gwen only took twenty minutes, which was indeed fast.
However, he heard that Frigga was already very simple, and the time she spent preparing was even less than half of that of some goddesses or women. Thor felt his scalp tingling just thinking about it.
"Now that we're ready, it's time to get going." Thor waved at the two of them. "Stay closer to me, so it will be easier to teleport later."
"Teleport? I thought it was some kind of flying vehicle." Gwen whispered in her ear to Yang Le who was holding her hand. The latter didn't need to explain anything. Thor, who had sharp ears, smiled and explained after hearing it.
"Traveling through the Nine Realms by aircraft is certainly not bad, but Asgard has a more convenient method. We call it the Rainbow Bridge. Don't worry, you'll be able to see it soon. It's one of the things we are most proud of in Asgard."
While Thor was speaking, Yang Le and the other man had already stood beside him. Yang Le, who understood what the Rainbow Bridge was, did not bother to be polite with Thor. He stood less than a finger's distance away from him, and his other hand directly hugged Gwen.
"Alright." Thor raised an eyebrow at the intimate duo, then raised the hammer in his hand. "Stand still!"
When the hammer reached the highest point, Yang Le and Gwen didn't have to wait too long. A colorful light shot in from the ceiling of the warehouse and enveloped the three of them in an instant.
The next second, the colorful light dissipated, and Thor and the other two disappeared without a trace, leaving only an empty space.
…By the time Gwen came to her senses, they had already left Gwen's secret base, and the first thing that caught her eye was a flash of golden light.
Everywhere is golden, and it looks like Dubai, except that this golden color does not look like gold. It looks more solid. It is probably some special metal.
"Welcome back, Prince."
The rough voice attracted Gwen's attention. When she turned her head, she saw a strong man wearing a double-horned helmet and red armor. His physique was no less than Thor's. At this moment, he was leaning on a big sword in both hands and looking at Gwen and her group. He looked very imposing.
But the most attractive thing is his special eyes, which look more like some kind of work of art.
"I'm back, Heimdall." Thor waved and greeted the strong man.
Heimdall's lips curled up slightly as he said, "You came back earlier than I expected. It seems your operation went smoothly."
"Thanks to the great Odin." Thor said half-jokingly, causing Heimdall to laugh.
"Is my father in Asgard?" Thor asked seriously after joking. In fact, he only asked this question symbolically. After all, Odin really had nothing else to do except staying in Asgard.
If Odin is not in Asgard, there are probably only two possibilities: one is that Frigga took him out to play, and two is that something big happened in the Nine Realms and Odin, the King of Gods, needs to come forward to solve it personally.
"The God King is waiting for you in Asgard. I have already reported to him that you will be back soon." Heimdall blinked, and those special eyes attracted more attention at this time.
"I knew I couldn't hide it from you." Thor shrugged helplessly, then turned around and said to Yang Le and the others.
"Let's go, the great Odin is waiting for us."
Yang Le and Gwen didn't say anything and followed Thor out.
As soon as she walked out, Gwen's face was filled with shock. The starry sky came into her eyes. Countless celestial bodies in the sky seemed out of reach, yet seemed within reach.
Gwen looked down and saw the rainbow under her feet again. At this moment, she seemed to have really arrived in fairyland.
"Is this the Rainbow Bridge?" Gwen looked at the unreal bridge under her feet with curiosity. The feeling was very strange. Although her eyes told her that she was not standing on a solid body, the feeling from under her feet did not seem fake.
"I guess so," Thor explained as they walked. "This is part of the Rainbow Bridge, primarily connecting Asgard to the other eight worlds, but the real Rainbow Bridge is still in Heimdall's hands."
"That strong man just now?" Gwen asked.
"Yes, he was already a bridge keeper when I was a child."
