Chapter 665: Hope of Blooming and Bearing Fruit

Chapter 665: Hope of Blooming and Bearing Fruit
"Yes, as you said, I made a green lantern ring."

Valeria seemed calm, but her crossed legs betrayed her, bouncing so much that her shoes were almost knocked off.

"You are such a genius, Xiao Wa!" Yang Le praised Valeria again. In such a short time, she was able to create a lantern ring representing different emotional powers with just one lantern ring. She was indeed a genius that even Reed and Dr. Doom admired.

"It's alright." Valeria played with her long hair calmly. "My dad also made a lot of efforts. If you want to praise him, you should bring him along."

"No need to be so modest, Xiaowa. I know you. If Reed really did it all, you wouldn't even mention your own contribution. The fact that you say you built it yourself means that Reed probably only gave you some suggestions."

"You talk as if you know me very well." Valeria pouted and rolled her eyes at Yang Le in his puzzled gaze. Then she sat up straight and let the floating chair carry her to Yang Le's side.

"Don't be too happy yet. This thing is still a work in progress. Just like the red lantern ring before, it doesn't yet have a stable energy source. Not only is its combat effectiveness unreliable, but its endurance is also a big problem."

This sentence did not hit Yang Le hard. After all, the energy problem of the lamp ring itself was a big problem that could not be avoided. It would be more surprising if Valeria could solve this problem.

"So what are its effects?" Yang Le's excitement remained undiminished. "Is it the same as what I described to you?"

"If I remember correctly, it's the same." Valeria clicked a few times on the operating panel outside the cover, and the glass cover opened.

She stretched out her hand to grab the ring floating in the air, and the Green Lantern Ring was caught in her hand without any resistance, without any trace of the pride that belonged to the ring.

"If this thing had energy, it could create energy objects at will based on the wearer's thoughts. However, emotional abilities are too complicated. I can only create a semi-finished product that can eat anything."

Yang Le understood what Valeria meant. The current Green Lantern Ring was just a showpiece with no substance. It could be green, red, blue, or purple.

Such a thing is far from being called a lantern ring. It is just a weapon and cannot create the miracles that only a lantern ring can accomplish.

"But even so, it's impressive," Yang Le sighed again. "You have to remember that it's only been about a week since I last asked you for help. To be able to achieve this is already quite impressive."

"Actually, calling it a semi-finished product isn't quite accurate." Valyria hesitated. "This thing isn't a true lantern ring because it hasn't yet been exposed to true emotional energy. Once it's exposed to the true emotional spectrum of courage and willpower, it will become a true lantern ring."

Yang Le understood. What Valeria meant was that she had created a blank body. If she wanted it to become a real lantern ring, she would have to inject the real emotional spectrum into it. But where could she get such a mysterious thing?
Is it true that we can only rely on Superman X to come up with a solution?

Just when Yang Le was at a loss, the door of the laboratory opened again with a whoosh, causing Yang Le and the other man to look up. They saw Franklin walking in, fiddling with his hair.

"What's wrong? What fun things are you two making? Take it out and show it to me."

As soon as Franklin came in, he saw the lantern ring in Valeria's hand. Before the two of them could speak, he flashed in front of them, and the lantern ring that Valeria had caught fell into his hands.

Looking at Franklin who was looking up and down at the lamp ring, Yang Le patted his frog legs and said, "That's right! Franklin can release any energy in any form. You can let him try to inject emotional energy." "Emotional energy? What is that?" Franklin asked curiously.

Valeria explained, "It's what I mentioned when I asked you to create that pocket universe. The energy you find so offensive is the power of the wrath spectrum."

"Now that you mention it, I have an impression of it." Franklin tossed the lantern ring up and down. "Why do you still want that energy?"

"No, we want something different." Yang Le waved his hand. "Something more positive, more suitable for the emotions of decent people."

"A more positive one? Let me try."

After Franklin finished speaking, he caught the falling ring. This time he did not throw the ring up again but held it tightly in his hand, and then closed his eyes.

Seeing Franklin like this, Yang Le and Valeria stopped talking and waited quietly for his next move.

After about dozens of seconds, suddenly a blue light burst out from Franklin's palm, and soft light came out from between his fingers, gradually filling the entire laboratory.

It was a soft light, soft yet extremely strong, a blue light, a color full of hope. When Yang Le and Valeria came to their senses, a crystal clear blue ring was already lying in Franklin's palm.

"This... why did its color change?" After opening his eyes, Franklin looked at the ring on his palm in surprise. He remembered that this thing should have been green before?

"That's because the spectral color represented by the emotion you injected is blue, so it changed its appearance." Yang Le explained. He didn't expect Franklin to come up with a blue lantern ring.

"Okay, so what does blue represent?" Franklin continued to ask.

"It represents hope," Yang Le said solemnly. "Blue represents hope that will never go out. Those who give up halfway will never be able to light a blue light."

"Sounds pretty cool, doesn't it?" Franklin was silent for a moment, then he brought the ring to his eyes, but this time he was much more serious.

Franklin, who struggled to survive in a universe where the Bru Zerg were wreaking havoc and zombies almost destroyed the entire universe, and who never gave up hope even after losing his abilities, is indeed qualified to light the blue lantern ring that represents hope.

"What doesn't kill me only makes me stronger," Franklin murmured. "Sometimes you have to admit that those seemingly useless words are actually true."

Valeria didn't say anything, but just walked silently to Franklin and hugged him. Only she, as a twin, could understand Franklin's difficulties. Franklin also knew that he would never have been able to go so far without Valeria.

The hope that has supported them in moving forward has now borne fruit.
