Chapter 57 Yang Le is being targeted?

Cindy's words were unpleasant to hear, but they were true, because one of his policy mistakes had caused some turmoil in the Osborne Group.

At this time, Cindy found Norman. After witnessing Cindy's talent, Norman immediately grabbed this life-saving straw.

Cindy gave Norman some research results, allowing Norman to stabilize the company, and Norman also assisted Cindy to help her complete the radioactive spider.

The two did have a honeymoon period at the beginning, but the relationship has recently reached a freezing point.

"How long will it take you to complete that potion?" Norman tried to calm down.

"I don't know. If it's fast, it may take one or two months. If it's slow, it may take three or two years. Who can say for sure?" Cindy was still as nonchalant as at the beginning. She didn't take Norman's request seriously at all.

"Cindy Moon!" Norman slammed the table in front of him and looked at Cindy with resentment.

"You should see what you look like now. You look like a goblin." Cindy first mocked Norman's ugly appearance, and then said coldly.

"If it weren't for some dishonest goblin who stole my work, you might have gotten your potion long ago."

"You have to give me something to shut the board of directors up." Norman knew Cindy was talking about him, but he wasn't ashamed.

"The company has a bunch of mediocre people who can only produce rubbish. We can't trust shareholders with them."

Cindy had seen enough of this businessman's shameless face. She would not give Norman the finished potion, but would just lead him astray like a mule with a carrot on a hook.

But I still have to give them some appropriate benefits, after all, I really need their funds now.

Cindy said, "The potion was tested two days ago. Believe me, you still need to wait a little longer, unless you want to open a reptile house."

Norman clenched his fists when he heard Cindy's words, but finally loosened them and said viciously.

"I'll give you another three months. This is your ultimatum."

After saying this, he swiped his card and left the lab without giving Cindy a chance to bargain.

Cindy didn't look at Norman who was leaving, and didn't care at all about the deadline Norman set for her in a fit of rage.

Cindy went to the computer and operated it for a few times, and several photos immediately filled the screen. The people in the photos were both men and women, some more and some less, but the center of the photos was undoubtedly one person - Gwen Stacy.

"Lucky little girl." Cindy murmured as she looked at the young and beautiful Gwen.

"Campus, band, and youth comedies, best friends, what an enviable life."

Cindy operated the mouse and flipped through the photos one by one. There were photos of Gwen going to school, shopping, eating, participating in band training, and even Gwen wearing a battle suit and wandering between buildings.

The photo finally stopped at a photo of three people: Gwen, Yang Le and Peter having dinner together in an outdoor restaurant.

In the photo, Peter was holding a comic book and pointing to one of the pages for Yang Le to see. Yang Le touched his chin and squinted his eyes to look carefully at the place Peter pointed. Gwen was holding a cup of Coke, sucking on the straw, with a helpless expression, but looking at the two of them with eyes full of doting.

"That trial was originally prepared for you." Cindy moved the cursor from Peter's head to Gwen's face.

"What a shame! I wanted to see what you're capable of, but I didn't expect someone else to ruin it."

The cursor moved to Yang Le's face again.

"What a bizarre ability! First you were an extremely fast reptile, then you transformed into an incredible crystalline life form. I really want to know who you are, what your limits are, and…"

"Get your powers."

Cindy turned off the computer and wondered if she should find a new partner.

"Are you sure you want to bring one for Peter?"

Harry Osborn frowned as he looked at what Yang Le was holding.

"What's wrong?" Yang Le lowered his head to check.

"There's nothing wrong with the latest issue of superheroes?"

"Yeah? Is there something wrong?" Gwen asked from the side.

"Uh." Yang Le and Gwen's question made Harry less confident, and he spoke hesitantly.

"When you visit a patient normally, shouldn't you bring some fruit or a bouquet of flowers?"

After saying this, he mentioned the fruit basket in his hand. They had now arrived at the hospital where Peter was hospitalized, ready to visit Peter who had a concussion.

"Normally, they are," Gwen nodded. "But Peter is different. He must be terribly bored. Aunt May won't let him get his PlayStation, and because of his concussion, she won't even let him play the Sudoku puzzles in the newspaper."

"That's indeed a bit cruel." Harry put himself in the other's shoes and shuddered.

Not even allowed to play Sudoku, it's even more miserable than being a prisoner.

"Don't we have to wait for Mary Jane?" Harry asked, looking at Peter's hospital room in front of him.

Gwen gave Harry a look, indicating that he should figure it out himself, then she opened the door and walked in first, followed closely by Yang Le. Seeing this, Harry also followed in confusion.

As soon as they entered the room, they saw the eye-catching red-haired Mary Jane sitting in front of Peter's bed. The corners of both of their mouths were raised. It was obvious that they had been having a good chat before they came in.

"Hi! Peter! We're here to see you." Gwen greeted him and took the bag Yang Le was carrying and handed it to Peter.

"Here, the latest issue of superhero magazine. You can read it when you are bored."

When faced with his favorite magazine, Peter didn't look as happy as Gwen thought. Instead, he looked a little embarrassed.

Gwen asked curiously, "What's wrong, Peter? I remember you liked this magazine the most. Am I mistaken?"

"It's true that I like it the most, but..." Peter picked up a bag from the bedside table and took out a magazine that was exactly the same as the one Gwen handed him. It was the latest issue of the superhero issue.

"But Mary Jane already brought it to me."

"Oh, this is really..." Gwen looked helplessly at Mary Jane who was sitting next to her, and found that she was also looking at her awkwardly.

"Uh, that's a little embarrassing."

"There's nothing we can do. Everyone knows Peter's hobby, and someone with more interests has already taken a step ahead of us." Yang Le shrugged helplessly and said.

Harry on the side smiled and raised the fruit basket in his hand like a winner.

"Ha! I knew traditional always worked best. Anyone want some fresh fruit?"

"Give me some, little boy selling fruit." Yang Le raised his hand.

"I'm going to peel an apple for Peter, so I don't come empty-handed."
